blondie you can get ic ones from eBay/amazon. but you can also get clear blue digital ones for up to half the price they are in shops on ebay thats were I get my cb ones from. I found 2 months worth for 25. thats cheaper than one months worth in boots !!!

Yeah, for some reason I can handle AF coming better than a negative pregnancy test, so wouldn't test until I'm late. Messes up my Mellon too much, as even when you test and get a negative you can still try and convince yourself of a reason it's not showing up positive yet.

I think i'm the opposite of most people on here. I hate poas! I get so bloody anxious waiting!! Even with opks!! But do it for the greater good!!

Lemon, how far were you? If before 5 weeks, it normally doesn't register as a pregnancy if the makes sense? My cycles after all 4 have gone back to ov on cd14 or 15 as normal. Cd1 being my first day of bleeding.
I thought I'd be earlier this month as I was getting strong lines around cd7 but still not a clear pos until cd15.
I think a later mc alters you more.

Hey Blondie have you been temp charting? I have spoken with plenty of people who don't get ewcm but have ovulated - temp charting will def help you see if you have or haven't :)

Hi Lemon - the only reason I could ever find for not trying the cycle after is to date the pregnancy. Well sod that, I thought, small price to pay! However, I wasn't one of them and I ovulated so late that I was too exhausted to DTD much more and missed out. I don't regret it though. Do whatever you feel comfortable with. Had to stop myself from OPKing too early this cycle. Last cycle I started on CD8 and had to get more sticks as solid smiley wasn't till CD24. Feel proud of myself for waiting until CD10 this cycle. .

Lemon when I MCd it took about five weeks until my next period so I wouldn't have much clue when I would have ovulated in that time at all. But I think it's true about being extra fertile. Your body is primed to be pregnant. I MCd at 12 weeks on 1 Dec 2011 and fell pregnant around Valentines Day 2012 so I only had two periods in between. LO is now 17 months.

Mmmh morning everyone. Cd 12 here and I cob test is positive but I get empty blob on the electronic one. Weird! It's the we and on hol next week so I guess we will just did anyway and do lots of positive visualisation!!

Does anyone know anything about ttc the first cycle after mc? Some people on here have said it can make you super fertile, but did some reading online last night (a bit late obv as at end of cycle now) and it said you def shouldn't try again the first month after and you probably wouldn't even ovulate.

Yes English, on it for 3 cycles total then they'll try something else if it doesn't work.

Still got a dodgy tummy but pretty sure it's a bug as have poas Thursday morn and bfn although it's still early to be testing so not completely lost hope yet. Got a 'big night out' planned for Saturday night so hopefully Sod's law will come into play for me on Saturday morning when I poas again!

Tilly I think you've hit the nail on the head, POAS for ov feels proactive, then stopping all that in tww feels the opposite which is why we should start a support group call pee sticks anonymous.

Nyancat when you going to test?

Well....day 5 of flashing smiley (CD17) here, wondering when it will turn solid. We def missed DTD around ovulation last month as I hadn't realised it would be this late in cycle so we only did it a couple of times after CD17. But makes sense as AF didn't come until CD33 so iv got a longish cycle. Probably abit crazy but when I do get solid smiley I think I'm going to miss poas each morning during the 2ww, because at the moment it feels like I'm doing something to help us get pregnant!

12DPO BFN this morning. Think it's still to early to test. DP wants to test Monday...

Choccy I know what u mean about not being able to get exited anymore seeing a line... I've had it so many times that I'm just completely cynical at this point . Even with the surrogate I just waited for the bad news pretty much until dd was born . Did feel more confident after 12 w though all my mc were before that .
Anyway the madness has started here . Once again I can't stop thinking about it since my body is providing constant reminders . Right side has been hurting since ov , breasts too , today slight nausea which I haven't had for a while now but it could be my illness acting up because of the cold. I think I'm about 3 dpo so a long way to go. A few cramps on and off . I'll be interested to see if I'll get that localised pain at about 5,6 dpo I had last two months...
