I have just chucked my morning wee away, I prefer to have hope when thinking about my symptoms (probably in my head) than the actual real disappointment a BFN brings.
Might be brave tomorrow or Monday, day 13 or 14.

I have been symptom spotting like a mad woman! Think DH is getting a bit sick of it. In the last week, Have had diarrhea for a few days, back aches, mood swings, and AF like cramps for last two days. Yesterday morning I felt nauseous, and had a frequent need to pee! It's probably all psychological. Not due to poas til Friday but DH is away so it will have to be next sat if AF hasn't got me! Can't believe I've got another week to wait I'll drive myself insane!

I still think that your DTD on the Thursday as well might have helped, rather than just on the day of the solid smiley, as you might have ovulated then-just saying in case anyone only DTD on the day of a solid smiley then gets disappointed. Solid smiley infers ovulation is imminent soon and an egg only survives for around 12 hours and the average sperm only 24 hours (some can live up to 5, but only some!) so it really is a miracle to pinpoint it exactly and I'm so happy you have your little miracle now!

Tilly -normally have 30 day cycles but my Feb cycle was a BFP cycle so of course went way over that and last cycle went to CD35 but of course I have no idea when my HCG levels went down to zero. So I'm testing a little early in case this is another 'special' cycle

Symptoms
Upset tummy since Tuesday. Nausea but not actually sick, major diarrhea ( sorry tmi) and chills and muscle aches. Could still have been a bug as I have read that if immune system is surpressed then it can be easier to catch them.
But, I still have mild nausea even tho the other 'bug' symptoms have gone.

Well u guys asked for one... can't quite get my head round it but I just got a BFP!

Tilly, we did it on the day the solid face appeared and it looks to have worked!

This is what we did;
Pregnacare conception throughout
Dtd on the day the solid face appeared, (tues) nudp, pillow under hips for 20 mins after, and I orgasmed after DH. Same again for alternate days (thu & sat)

Also, I was diagnosed with an under active thyroid and this is the first month where I have started taking the hormones for that so not sure if that helped as well.

Thanks Treacle! Will give it a go! I think we made the mistake last month of not doing it enough at that point in my cycle as we only did it on CD 17 (today) and them not again till CD 21 so must have missed the crucial time as I presumed I would have oved earlier around CD14.

Btw, rather off topic but how do you write people's names in bold? Can it be done on a phone or just if you're on the computer?

Morning! If you were me, Tilly, I'd DTD today, tomorrow and next day, take a break then one more for luck. It is tricky pinpointing exact ovulation, but usually 12 to 36 hours after positive OPK, so count day after tomorrow (Tuesday) as 1 dpo. Still solid smileys for me a CD12!

Iv just got my first fixed smiley face today on CD 17! What's the advice now on DTD, is it today, tomorrow and the next day DTD, then miss one day, then one more DTD? We DTD last night if that affects it in any way?

Also do I count from today for how many Dpo? It's funny as I said to dp last night I had a terrible headache (which I never get) followed by abit of a dodgy stomach and I wondered if it was a sign I was ovulating?

Anyone poas today?? Would be nice to get some more BFPs!

MrsEx I hope you won't be too sad without your DC it can't be easy :( . Hopefully your little one will cheer you up in the meantime , give him a big cuddle. I used to lie next to my DS bed on the floor in the dark and cry and stroke his sleepy little head or hold his hand when I was having yet another loss. He and Dh is what kept me going. Trying for one more now isn't at all as bad so far when I already have my beautiful two little monkeys :)!

Mademoiselle we were supposed to go on holiday tonight but alas I've had too many interruptions this week (already was behind as ds was poorly and a week off nursery) so the change of scenery won't be happening. They are gone for a full week which will give me time to catch up on work Finally. The joys of running 2 companies, alas this is the down side. The upside is I'm buying a new car. So I'll try and get excited about that instead.
