In shitey ttc news, my AF turned up this morning two days late. It's such a mindfuck when that happens. Anyway, that's me onto yet another round of Clomid. 3 more rounds left. I told DP that we should put ttc on the backburner until after the wedding in July but, I was drunk I was fooling myself. I can't waste the Clomid. I think DP was relieved to be honest, argh, I hate this crap. Oh, and if I'm not upduffed by then, AF is due the day of the wedding. Awesome. And I need to try and change the date of my FC appointment in May as it falls on the third day of my new job. I called the clinic who almost laughed when I asked if they had any sooner appointments. barking I quite often feel that way about teaching. I look back nostalgically to the days of just doing the job and none of this level pressure, app, scrutiny etc. sometimes I feel a bit trapped and would like to leave but them I remember there's shit with every job.my dh tells me that if you can get by not despising what you do and feel ok with it most of the time then that's ok. Can I be nosy and ask what year you teach?!also I don't think that should have demoted your lesson. It's totally shit the hoops we have to jump through. And for heavens sake that's what happens in real lessons,sometimes, she says quietly, mine finish and just read a book.the poor kids must be wiped out being constantly challenged, I get they sometimes just want to finish the work and finish not be constantly extended.

Ooh, yes holiday talk. Seen a nice couples all inc to Italy. Showed it to dh who said ooh that looks nice... Believe me getting a reaction out of him for holidays is an achievement, he's more of a get excited right before you go type. This one is near sorrento but quite secluded and quiet, still pretty expensive though.. But part of me thinks stuff it we could do with relaxing in a nice place and stuffing our faces!!

at the random things to eat tiger - my colleagues all think I'm totally doolally with all my weird foods at the moment. Luckily I am generally a little bit on the doolally side most of the time so I think I'm managing to style it out.

Argh!!!!! Lesson observation today. One tiny little thing stopped me getting 'outstanding'. The brightest child in the class, for whom I had planned endless extension activities, completed his task and sat there doing nothing instead of picking up the first extension task. Because I was busy going round the rest of the class it took me 5 minutes to get round to him and move him on. This means that not every child in the class reached their full potential because I wasted 5 minutes of his learning time. If his partner hadn't been off sick she would have put her hand up to say they'd finished and I could have swiftly moved them on. If he'd have finished 5 minutes earlier when I checked how he was doing I'd have given him the extension task. If he hadn't been sat in front of the observer she would have just noticed the other 28 children all on task and being moved forward in their learning on a timely fashion. If I'd just put the extension tasks on the table in front of him all at the same time so he didn't have to ask for them or wait until I came round to him it would have been fine. Tick in the box, 'outstanding.' Basically so fucking close but not good enough. FUCKSTICKS.

Off out for dinner. Pissed off with myself. Not happy.
