I was really poorly last night.. in agony and throwing my guts up. Then came the last thing I wanted to see..although I cant say I'm surprised. So I'm out. Still no appetite and feel poorly so maybe it was all down to something else, not sure what. Baby dust to all..good luck ladies and thank you to everyone that advised me

cowbiscuits · 03/04/2014 16:53

Hi Christine, any news?

Sounds to me like your getting very stressed out. It's hard isn't it, not knowing. Brew Thanks. No wonder you've lost appetite. I'd probably agree with monkeybubbles, if your still getting negatives with no AF maybe it's worth seeing your GP.

Sorry to hear your AF arrived Bessie.

I'm still in, cd28 here. But not testing before cd30 because I think my cycle is a bit longer. Boobs sensitive and I am a bit bloated and tired, which may be period on its way. Also a tiny bit nauseous but I think that's anxiety about some work stuff at the moment.

bessie84 · 03/04/2014 07:23

witch has arrived this morning. AGONY! cd1 - lets go............ xx

Monkeybubbles1 · 03/04/2014 04:05

I wouldn't say the not eating is a pregnancy symptom, that's a symptom of stress Christinedonna. Blood thing is weird, possible implantation bleeding? You should go and see your doctor as he will be able to give you better answers and can provide blood tests etc.

Also I don't know if it means anything to anyone but ive completely lost my appetite lately aswell. Yesterday I had a microvable mashed potato thing that's supposed to be part of a meal..only thing I ate all day and I had to force myself to finish it. Today I attempted to eat some instant noodles but couldn't finish them, again..only thing I had all day. Looking forward to someone giving me a bit of advice asap

Christinedonna · 02/04/2014 20:08

the tint of blood turned into really light brown discharge..for two hours (at most) and now it has completely stopped. And my cramps are going. What do you think? (6 days late for period)

Monkeybubbles1 · 02/04/2014 18:03

I'm out this month, af just trying to start now. Good luck all.

I'm now 6 days late for my period. Monday I was unbelievably naceous (ive completely forgot how to spell) and had stomach cramps. Yesterday I still felt a little bit sicky, nowhere near as much though but my cramps had got worse. Today I don't feel sick but my cramps are the worst they've been. Its unbelievably painful. a few times ive thought I could feel af coming on but its still white discharge. The last two times ive been to the toilet and wiped there's been white discharge with the TINIEST TINIEST tint of blood to it. This is not af starting, that's never happened before..what might this be??

pips84 · 02/04/2014 13:44

hi all

so over the last few days I've had sensitive nipples on and off (sorry if tmi - feels odd telling people about my nipples!) and then today I've got an overwhelming metallic taste in my mouth. Eating/drinking doesn't get rid of it. It's actually quite unpleasant! I may have imagined the nipple thing but definitely not the taste thing.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up but can't help but feel a little excited about having some symptoms. I realise obviously that they could mean nothing.

Not sure when I ovulated as I didn't have any noticeable symptoms, but af is due around Monday so thinking I might test this time next week if it hasn't arrived.

Must not get hopes up!

cowbiscuits · 02/04/2014 12:50

Hello everyone, anybody got any news yet?

Back on Monday I had what might have been an implantation bleed. At thge time, not being sure of my dates I thought it might beo have been the start of an early period, but it wasn't, and if I average out my cycles, AF isn't due till the weekend. So I've got my hopes up now. Saying that, now I'm not sure I didn't imagine it!

According to the internet, it takes at least 5 days after implantation to get enough hormones to show up in a urine test. Which takes me till about the weekend.

I'm on a course with a study day tomorrow which is always interesting and keeps my mind off it. Then I'm working Sunday night- I work in a job where there are sometimes certain things pregnant women shouldn't be exposed to so it would be good to know before then, although that it might be too early for a bfp.

Only a few more days to wait.....then maybe try again next month...

Christinedonna · 01/04/2014 13:22

Yeah I think il do that, thanks! I don't feel like af is on its way tbh (probably jinxed it now) had cramps and nausea today and yesterday but I wouldn't say it feels like af. Ive used all my tests so am just going to leave it a while now and hope for the best, It is odd the amount of symptoms I've had and got a bfn though. Implantation (I think),white discharge, twinges and cramps, constipation, late period, nausea, fatigue, bloating, change in eating habits etc..maybe my mind is just playing very cruel jokes on me

Hazelbrowneyes · 01/04/2014 13:12

Ok so you DTD around days 15-17 and 21-24 of your cycle. That could be timed right, it just does depend on your length of cycle this time.

Can you get an app on your phone to track your periods? I do this - I log my symptoms (if I have any) and when we DTD. It gives me an indication of when I should ovulate based on average cycle length, and when my fertile period is. It's quite a handy tool to be honest.

The wait is horrible though isn't it? I'm utterly convinced that I'm now just waiting for AF to arrive on Friday. Then it'll be on to cycle 4.

Christinedonna · 01/04/2014 13:11

haha tell me about it! Just hoping that gives me a fighting chance!

Hazelbrowneyes · 01/04/2014 13:05

Blimey Grin

I'm shattered just thinking about DTD that much! Grin

Christinedonna · 01/04/2014 12:58

Between the 14th-16th of march dtd 5 times. Between the 20th-23rd of march 6 times. Once on the 28th (not that that would do anything)

Hazelbrowneyes · 01/04/2014 12:52

Nothing wrong with a bit of straw clutching Christine Smile Sorry about your m/c.

If you don't get your BFP this month then definitely invest in some OPKs. Do you know which CDs you DTD this month? If it was regular enough then there's a chance you did it at the right time anyway! Until AF arrives there is every bit of hope that a BFP is around the corner Grin x

Christinedonna · 01/04/2014 12:42

I had an early m/c in January so not really got the hang of when period is. Maybe I'm just clutching at straws

Hazelbrowneyes · 01/04/2014 12:38

Congrats on your BFP kitkat! Wonderful news.

Fingers crossed this one is a sticky xx

Hazelbrowneyes · 01/04/2014 12:37

Christine that'd make it a 10 or 11 day LP which is more accurate. Do you use OPKs? Are you sure you ovulated 15 days ago?

Are your cycles always 28 days? Since coming off the pill I've had a 31 day, a 28 day and a 34 day cycle. Going by ovulation pains over the last few months and this month, using OPKs, I am on a 32 day cycle this time.

If you use OPKs to find out when you ovulate, then you have a period X-number of days later, this is your Luteal Phase which doesn't really change much each month (if at all) so if you ovulated on the 1st of the month, and your period arrived on the 15th, you have a 14 day LP.

What determines the length of your cycle is not what happens after ovulation, but it's the bit before - the follicular phase. So on the month I had a 28 day cycle, this phase was shorter and month I had the 34 day cycle, it was 6 days longer. My LP on both months was 14 days.

This is the reason I now use OPKs - I couldn't tell when I would ovulate as it could have been earlier or later than the previous month.

TTC is a massive thing to get your head round and it all does become quite confusing x
