The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Oh dear, I'm the oldest and the saddest. And my garden looks like shit!

TannyLoo 41, TTC #3, MC @ 6 weeks Dec 2012, MMC @ 12 weeks April 2013, MC @ 6 weeks Oct 2013, MC @ 6 weeks (blighted ovum) Dec 2013, MC @ 6 weeks Feb 2014.
Currently on a 3 month break while we have further tests, but had one blood test that suggests an autoimmune issue.
I've been lurking rather than posting for a few days

officelady · 24/03/2014 19:43

Evening all! Had a minor panic when I saw that the old thread was full, but managed to follow you here - phew!

My stats: Officelady, 42, ttc#3, mc Feb 2013, mmc Mar 2014.

I am the oldest Confused No wonder I'm not getting anywhere with this ttc lark!
I have news of great importance to share with you, brace yourselves ... last night we ended the the Great Shagging Drought of 2014 and got some bedroom action Grin First time since BFP in January and first time since mc. I'm pretty sure I'm nowhere near ovulating yet so it was purely for recreational purposes. I'm glad that milestone is out of the way - hopefully another step on the road to getting upduffed.

LittleMissSunshine33 · 24/03/2014 19:35

Hi all room for 1 more? A few names I recognise for other posts sorry to see you here glad to have others who know how I feel google just is too conflicting!!
I'm ttc #1 since nov '13 MC March'14 30yrs

Feel I'm in limbo don't know when to start ttc when I may be due/ovulating?! Blush

broodylicious · 24/03/2014 19:35

My stats - age 35 21, ttc #2, mc feb 27 at 12 weeks, currently awaiting AF at some point during this WTF cycle.

EnglishGirlAbroad · 24/03/2014 19:01

Welcome newbies... Sorry you've found yourselves here. May you stay be short and sweet. Feel free to wallow, moan, rant and cry. We've all been there.

Sebs - I know you feel your body is failing you but its just reseting ready for a nice sticky bfp! CUTO and a big hug!!

Parsley - I'd be inclined to stamp my feet if I were you! Two years is a long time and the mc just adds insult to injury!! Any decent doctor would at least offer some initial investigations. Its so unfair that a mc resets the whole long and frustrating process! Good luck!!

Sal1977 · 24/03/2014 18:54

Aloha!!

Don't forget me!!

Sal1977 36 ttc#1 since Aug 2012. 3 x MC Mar/jul/nov'13

Fuck, my stats are the most depressing out of everyone's!

Parsley2506 · 24/03/2014 18:19

Have we picked up a bunch of new blood with this thread? Welcome aboard and sorry you find yourselves here. Wishing short stays for all of you

sebs your flower bed looks lovely! I wish you didn't feel so down and I also wish you weren't blaming your body, it hasn't let you down even though it feels that way. Big hugs for you.

Yes Triple - GP tomorrow. Not specifically MC related, more to find out where we stand on our frustratingly epic ttc journey. 2 years in now but I have a nasty feeling the BFP, despite failing, will have re-set the timer on further investigations. Outcome of this appt will decide whether we squander utilise our savings on private treatment I think....

Triplespin · 24/03/2014 17:36

Ooh I forgot my age. Nearly 36!! So not too far off cake

Cakebaker35 · 24/03/2014 17:34

Oooo and do I get the prize for oldest ovaries on this thread?? (37) Another greetings card needed for that surely Smile

Cakebaker35 · 24/03/2014 17:31

Ah sebs, loving the flower bed, sorry you're feeling low but you're definitely allowed to have a good old wallow. Plus Cake of course. How about burying those cheap tests in your new flower bed!? Grin

Welcome to all the newbies, you'll find great support from some fabulous ladies here.

Triplespin · 24/03/2014 17:28

I don't check for one morning and there is a new thread already! Love the title.

My stats are below

Ttc#2 since Feb2013; Mc#1 June 2013 at 5+3; mc#2 March 2014 at 6+3. Can't make it to even seeing a heart beat.

Sorry I haven't caught up on everyone's news. parsley sorry to hear the witch has arrived. Are you planning to see the GP or did I just imagine that?

sebs sorry you are feeling low. We have all been there. At least you are better off than me, mc twice! Fx you will get a sticky bean soo . Love the flower bed!

Metalhead · 24/03/2014 17:15

Ah sebs, my stats buddy - sorry you're feeling so rubbish today! Has AF actually arrived yet though? You know what they say, you're not out until it does... [clutching at straws]

Good work on the flower bed, that looks really nice! And here, have some Thanks to cheer you up.

Seasides · 24/03/2014 16:22

sebs: you are outside weeding your fab-looking garden, you are healthy, you are mobile and you are fertile, it's just a longer, sadder journey than any of us hope for. That is a trout of a sentence! You are going to be fine, you are going to make your bean that will stay put, and in an unspecified though hopefully short length of time you will accidentally send messages on another thread because you haven't slept properly for months with your beautiful new child. Chin up, love, and get those shit hot tits out.

TeaRex · 24/03/2014 16:09

Oh and hello zahazie may your stay be a short one but this is a great place to pass the time :)

TeaRex · 24/03/2014 16:07

Hi all, am back from my weekend away, had a good time but back to reality with a bump.

Sats: TeaRex 32, TTC no. 2 since Aug'13, MMC Jan'14.

Sorry you're feeling so sad sebs I feel the same and you know what, it's justified, our bodies did let us down. Allow yourself time to feel upset and then tomorrow you will jump out of bed cuto style and have yourself a better day

CakesALot · 24/03/2014 15:59

Oh sebs Sad I'm so sorry you're feeling like that. Sometimes you need a really good wallow in the crap before you can begin to feel better again. There will be a better again as well, but I know it's so hard finding the patience for it to come round. More un-MN hugs coming your way. And here's some Cake too xx

broodylicious · 24/03/2014 15:57

Hi all. Marking my place. Will catch up on what I've missed now....

sebsmummy1 · 24/03/2014 15:49

Whoops, I was going to add a photo of said flower bed but in my misery my head slumped forward and pressed send.

sebsmummy1 · 24/03/2014 15:47

I am currently sitting in my front garden in the wind having attacked the flower bed and added a little fence thingie contemplating life I have no energy to punctuate that sentence I am so miserable Sad. I really really dispise my body. The only good thing it has ever done is produce my son.

HollyBen · 24/03/2014 15:43

Sorry I missed you littlelady I will try and do another update later and add you then.

Welcome to any newbies. The route to getting here is awful but we do try and have a laugh amongst the angst and support. Hope all is well jetpack

Sorry you are having a down day sebs

Good luck with the interview otters

Massively frustrating English I am not sure I whether I ovd this cycle either. The signs were there (ewcm, the post-mc-post-ov sore boobs) but never got a positive opk (I ran out on CD 19 and thought sod it). So who knows what will happen? Fertility Friend is predicting AF on Friday so if I haven't started spotting before then I will poas

I have had my Day21 test done as well as tests for chlamydia and gonorrhoea (just had to goggle both to get the spellings, must remember to delete my search history...) - which are apparently prereqs before the infertility clinic will see me. Booked in for Day1 tests on 1st April. I have told DH he can hold off making an apt until we know this month is a no go. I think he has everything crossed even more than usual Grin

Seasides · 24/03/2014 14:41

Good luck jetpack (great name!), hope you get the pain sorted quickly. Sorry for both your losses.

Seasides · 24/03/2014 14:40

Welcome zahazie - there's not a huge amount of casual TTC (or toad in the hole, as we like to call it) going on here, I think more of the embrace your obsessiveness or is that just me?! Basically, what I mean is that you can't be too crazy. We will understand!

Aw, thanks penguin, I'll put it up on my mantelpiece and freak my mother-in-law out Grin
