The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Fx crossed you can make it three BFPs in a row tomorrow Gail!

Glad your GP has agreed to re-do your tests and refer you Parsley, it's good to feel like you're doing something productive isn't it?

Sorry AF got you sebs, but have a 'well done on your textbook cycle' card! I'm sure you won't need to go down the IVF route as you'll get your BFP well before then, but nice to know you've got the option as a fall back. Hope you're feeling a bit better today.

CakesALot · 25/03/2014 09:08

Wonderful news about the BFPs MissH and Penguin! Thrilled for you!! Wishing you both dull, boring pregnancies!

sebsmummy1 · 25/03/2014 09:01

Aaah lovely news MissH too Grin. May both your pregnancies be fabulously problem free xxxx

Well after walking around declaring that I don't think I'll ever have another child we have decided that if I don't fall pregnant in the next 18 months and actually go to term, we are going to have IVF. I have enough savings for a few rounds, and perhaps we will be lucky enough to have twins and then our family will be complete Smile. I think the odds on IVF working at 40 are still pretty good.

Gail keeping my fingers crossed for you darling xx

AF actually wasn't so much of a bitch this month. I did actually get her yesterday and then heavy today, which shows the cycle was bang on 25 days (my usual) and I did indeed ovulate the day after my pos opk. Shame we didn't fertilise the egg though Hmm.

I actually have two pops in April as I ovulate on the 5th and the 30th. Fingers crossed it's a good month xx

tannyLoo · 25/03/2014 08:53

Penguin and MissH really hopeful and excited for you!

In all honesty I can't throw any fish as I am a POAS nut when I'm in the 2WW. How about a crabstick? I don't think there's much fish in one of those...

GailLondon · 25/03/2014 08:50

Ah lovely news on the bfp's!! penguin and MissH v v happy for you!

I'm not so hopeful....I've been having a fair bit of spotting and feeling like AF is on the way, not feeling so posi-flipping-tive over here :(

(But I might poa-frer-s tomorrow anyway seeing as youve given me the go ahead)!

Seasides · 25/03/2014 08:49

BFP pom poms in the air! Wow, two on one day - what a great start to the day and the thread! I hope you are both bored to tears with your straightforward pregnancies and nothing exciting happens for the next 9 months.

Sorry you've had a weepy morning parsley - it helps get the message across sometimes though, particularly with male doctors. Glad you got your referral, everything but legs crossed that you can go back to the top of the list.

Parsley2506 · 25/03/2014 08:41

Ooooooohhhhhh! Fantastic penguin and missh!!! Thank you for breaking the BFP drought and early but confident congratulations to you both - wishing boring textbook pg's for both of you Grin

That's cheered me right up after my weepfest at the GPs this morning. Luckily MrP came too so I made him do the initial talking (must give him notes next time, i always get weepy and can't talk). He's re-ordered my bloods and another SA for MrP as our last ones are from a year ago, and he's referring us back to fertility clinic so we'll have to see what they say.

Woo hoo congratulations Penguin and MissH! Amazing news, so nice to start the day with happy news, I has horrible dreams last night and woke up feeling really bloody sorry for myself but this has cheered me up. Good work ladies Flowers

Penguin13 · 25/03/2014 08:34

Thank you everyone. Obviously very happy but scared at the same time and it's very early days (only 11dpo here). It probably says something about my mental state that partially I wanted to test early because even if I lose it very early on I want it to count towards the three mc total needed for investigations (I've only had one so far). I am, however, relieved that there is a logical reason behind me literally nearly crying with joy when H came out of the kitchen with a massive bowl of spag bol last night Blush.

I hope it's okay if I stick around for a while cheering the rest of you ladies on.

Metalhead · 25/03/2014 08:26

Wow, what lovely news to start the day - two BFPs! Big congratulations Penguin and Miss, I hope you have some very sticky beans there.

Littlelady33 · 25/03/2014 08:22

Penguin, Miss H - am at my desk screeching (internally) with excitement!!

Penguin13 · 25/03/2014 08:11

Eeeeeee massive congratulations MissH!!!!! How many DPO are you? It's early days yet but repeat after me 'today we are pregnant'!

MissHobart · 25/03/2014 08:07

Yup, got a frer whilst on nights, did it at 3:30 this morning, bloody line came straight up! Confused

Never made it past 5 weeks so I'm trying not to get excited Hmm

OttersPocket · 25/03/2014 08:03

Oh my goodness Penguin!!!! And you have a bfp too MissHobart?!!

Woohoo for the the new Fred's good luck Grin

MissHobart · 25/03/2014 07:55

Me too Penguin! Confused

sebsmummy1 · 25/03/2014 07:48

Ha ha OMG!!!!!!!! How wonderful. Congratulations Penguin xxxxxxxxx

broodylicious · 25/03/2014 07:44

Naughty penguin but yay yay yay for that wonderful bfp!!!!!!!! GrinGrinGrin
gail over to you for early poas Wink

Penguin13 · 25/03/2014 07:34

Congratulations Broody. It is definitely a relief when AF finally shows her ugly mug.

This morning I have been a very, very naughty penguin indeed and I fully expect some fish slaps for not waiting till Friday Blush I POA FRER this morning and.....and.....There is a faint but unmistakable BFP line!!! I'm very sorry for not waiting, especially to Gail my 2ww buddy but I had to know and I couldn't lie to you ladies. Please don't kick me out just yet.

broodylicious · 25/03/2014 07:00

Know I'll probably be the only one to say this right now but.... Yay! I think AF is here Grin Had brown spotting last few days and now got full on blood. Never thought I'd say hoorah for what was always quite an inconvenience but hoorah!

At this rate we will be on to the next thread in no time! DH on the laptop tonight but I am working from home tomorrow so I will do another stats update then!

Congratulations otter and I hope the law of the sod is with you!!!

Justonemoretime · 24/03/2014 22:19

Parsley2506 · 24/03/2014 22:07

tannyLoo · 24/03/2014 22:07

Ah! Remembered what it was! I have been thinking of making some stacking rings to commemorate my MCs. Big bloody stack.

Am happy to make them for others here for a donation to Miscarriage Association.

I need to work on a design but it would be small and simple so they can be worn with other rings.

Just a thought.

tannyLoo · 24/03/2014 22:00

Otter congratulations! Another focus is no bad thing, either!

Broody well done you! Hopefully you'll be making it better for the ones coming after you.

I really am getting past it! I had something else to say but buggered if I can remember what it was. I'm on my phone so no way of jogging my mind.

Oh well, in other news I'm on CD7 and swimming in EWCM already (AF having left the building yesterday). What a waste! Still, can get in some TITH without gravy while we wait...
