Anyone want to join me?

I'm 36 yo, ttc #1 and very excited about it. It's something I have wanted to do for a long time but it took me a while to find mr right!

l know I am no spring chick so I have some anxieties around that but I am trying to do everything right (eating well, exercising, cutting out alcohol/caffeine etc) and I want to start off optimistic :) am a seasoned pessimist/worrier!

Have been tracking my cycle for a good while. My periods are pretty regular and I thought I could feel my ovary twinging (strongly) when it wad supposed to. This has synched with positive opks so I guess I will soon be starting my first 2ww.

I know Baking but I wouldn't halt ttc to avoid that. Will just make DC do extra homework instead Wink

I have this romantic notion of having a December baby then arriving home to my nice fire/Xmas decs with snuggly baby then pushing a chubby six month old round the park in the sun :o

Hi Chaircat

I promised I wouldn't symptom spot or anything like that, but I've already broken that one! Best of luck :)

Thank you :) I hadn't thought of that. I know some people don't like the idea of an August baby either, worrying they will be behind their classmates when they first start school, but a baby whenever they are born would be perfect.

Hi Chaircat

I think it's part of the deal that we obsess at first :)

Good luck!!

Hello, here's another first time TTC newbie!

Made the decision to start trying about a week ago, and am already obsessed Hmm

Hi baking, welcome :) and best of luck for this month.

My AF due 28th.

I like the idea of a December baby (I was one). Won't build my hopes up too much though :)

Hello! Would be nice to join you both :)

First month of ttc too. My cycles have never been that regular, but luckily in the last 6 months or so they have settled down. AF due around 23rd, so got fingers crossed, but just going to wait and see. Apart from taking folic acid and vit D and following healthy lifestyle, not doing anything else rather than dtd lots.

Hoping it will be a good first month for us all :)

Hi MrsG.

Why do you think you haven't been lucky this time? Can you feel AF on its way? Fingers X for you!

Yeah I started taking pre - pregnancy vits a few months ago. DP is nine years younger than meoso I'm hoping his youthful virility compensates for my age :o

Oh exciting!! :) I'm just coming to the end of my first tww, but I don't think we've been lucky this time. Still early days, like you I am a worrier. Smile

I'm in a similar position, my cycles have always been regular until I took folic acid - which had lengthened them.

Have you started taking anything yet?

Good luck!
