Hmm, I think I may have missed ovulation Blush

I'm on CD16 and still patiently waiting for the little line on the OPK to be the same colour as the control line. Except I think it may have happened on CD12. We examined the OPK and part of the line was as dark as the control line, but the other half wasn't. we dtd anyway

Since then the OPK has been getting lighter, almost unable to see the test line at all. Now I've just noticed that my CM has gone creamy. So I'm guessing I may have ovulated on CD12.

I'll carry on using the OPKs for a few more days as I had a 34 day cycle last month but I'm expecting it to just be negative.

I thought OPKs would stop all this wondering. I was obviously wrong. Grin

Congrats impatience :) glad to see another bfp for the bus....hope they roll in now!

Hi English, I'm good thanks how are you doing? I'm 5dpo. DH gets SA next week so I'm glad things are moving for us and hoping to get a bfp well before August when we will get our fertility appointment through. Hoping for this month to be our month of course! Ever optimistic!!! Where are you in your cycle?

Hope everyone else is ok. Retro you are hillarious! Your posts always make me laugh!

MissMrsMummy · 18/03/2014 14:36

impatience I CAN SEE A LINE! Woop x

MissMrsMummy · 18/03/2014 14:35

Zermatt I saw that festival on Karl Pilkington's programme last year and thought what a load of idiots they were... now I'm one of them! If there was a festival a bit more local, I'd be there!

RetroHippy · 18/03/2014 14:35

I just made myself poached eggs on crumpets. They were runny (I forgot) but I figure I'm not pg yet so ate them anyway.

They were perfect, fresh, free-range, just the right consistency...

They tasted of cheese Sad.

SYMPTOM!!! also, my back aches...

Treaclepie19 · 18/03/2014 14:30

Hahaha I'm doing the same. Going to curl up and watch OBEM later as I missed it yesterday.

Resist! Resist!

Treaclepie19 · 18/03/2014 13:46

RETRO! You are meant to be busy! haha.

I had to just stop myself from POAS. I did a little jig between the bathroom and bedroom, couldn't decide whether to go and get a stick or not.

Owlie84 · 18/03/2014 13:33

OMG Zermatt that's hilarious! Do you think we could get a package deal?

Zermatt · 18/03/2014 13:32

Have you heard of the penis fertility festival in Japan?

I think I want to go

EnglishGirlAbroad · 18/03/2014 13:00

Ahhhh I can see a faint little line there Impatience!! Yay!! Hope this is your sticky one!!

Linda - i think the changes happen in the days leading up to ov to allow the spermies in. Get shagging!!

BearsInMotion · 18/03/2014 12:52

See, when DD was on her way I had completely misunderstood basic biology my cycles and decided I couldn't possibly be pg. So I had no symptoms at all. Now, 10 days after DTD I have no symptoms. Which means I must be pg, right?!

Treaclepie19 · 18/03/2014 12:30

Ohhhh my days, looking good impatience!!!!

Now wishing i hadnt flushed my fmu away.
Symptoms - feel like af coming
Stroppy
In tears at work yesterday over nothing (i never cry at work)
Tired as always

Oh and another possible symptom - random throbby bits from 6 dpo Blush

lindamagoo · 18/03/2014 11:27

That's ok impatience Smile

impatienceisavirtue · 18/03/2014 11:26

Sorry misread - didn't realise you meant around OV and thought you were asking if preg had occurred Blush

Writerwannabe83 · 18/03/2014 11:21

I didn't go to the toilet intending to pee on one, but they are in the drawer next to the loo and one thing led to another and it just happened blush Grin Grin

hahaha Zermatt - I remember peeing on an OPK because I didn't have any HPT left. As I was doing it I was thinking, "You have officially become crazy!!"

However, it led to a very dark positive which in turn led to me posting on here about how confused I was about why I was ovulating when I was supposed to be due a period. This then led to me being told that a strong positive OPK can mean a BFP and so I ran to my local shop for a HPT and BINGO Smile

I always class my OPK pee experience as when I first got my BFP Smile

spinningirl10 · 18/03/2014 11:20

Ooh impatience I can see a line!! How exciting and super early!

Lovin' the nip talk and the photo taking!!

lindamagoo · 18/03/2014 11:20

And does the change happen before ov or at ov? First time I've ever done this and it's high quite soft and open, cd12 today

Zermatt · 18/03/2014 11:12

High soft and open Linda, the magical combination :)

impatienceisavirtue · 18/03/2014 11:11

Linda closed high and soft iirc.

BUT it doesn't really mean anything in all honesty. Everyone is different, and it can change/some people don't get this until quite late on so isn't realiable

lindamagoo · 18/03/2014 11:05

Can I ask a quick question to whoever checks their cervix? Other than cm what changes should I be looking for around ov time?

impatienceisavirtue · 18/03/2014 11:01

Retro bless him, I think at the time of that remark his heinous crime had been to suggest we went out for dinner to see if it would help with my mood. I was a cow, it's true ha ha.

Nordic thankyou Thanks

Zermatt the drawer next to my loo contains my pee sticks also, which is why I've been going through them at such a rate Blush

It's even worse as I'm so neurotic one won't do. If I'm gonna pee on a stick, I almost always pee on four. Two HPT and two OPK. Just to be sure one isn't faulty Blush

Also the OPKs this morning are on the rise so hopefully yours rising is also a good sign!

Zermatt · 18/03/2014 10:55

Yeah there was a faint line but not as dark as the control line.

I didn't go to the toilet intending to pee on one, but they are in the drawer next to the loo and one thing led to another and it just happened Blush
