Not doing too badly, missmrs Wink -gorgeous weather helping!

Have read back and sorry to hear that your DH is finding it a struggle at the moment. Not the nicest way to end DTD with what he said and sorry it happenend. Sorry if too personal a question, but were you like me and DH before TTC and rarely DTD(especially during Term Time!!)?? We too have had to get used to regular 'occasions' and have had some chats about it, which have helped!

Have spent the weekend babysitting my sister's kids for her and when I got back today, my DH was so pleased with himself. He proudly told me that he had stopped himself this morning from having a 'play' in case I wanted to DTD when I got back. Now there's progress Grin

EnglishGirlAbroad · 09/03/2014 20:09

Ahhhhh Lucy, lovely to see you!! Glad everything is going well!! Exciting that you'll soon know if your little bean (although prob alot bigger than a bean now) is a boy or girl! Keep us posted. I often think of those who have left us and reached the holy grail of the a/n threads!

CagedMango · 09/03/2014 20:01

Missmrs I never get any line at all so when I see a faint line I take it as the start of my fertile time. Then I get a positive (or near enough depending on when I test) and after that another faint line as the hormone levels drop. I don't think I test often enough to always get a really stong positive. Odd to get a stong line-could you have ovulated late this month?

Polythene - I hope you feel better. Maybe dtd anyway just in case?

lucyfluff · 09/03/2014 19:56

Lol hugs back Smile yes Im still poppinh my head in having a nosy...its exciting seeing people get bfp's!!!

Congratulations barmy too Smile

All good here just over 16wks and feeling teeny baby wiggles. Just over three weeks and we can find out if bubba is pink or blue Smile

PolytheneGirl · 09/03/2014 19:43

Ok, a bit of a strange one and maybe a little tmi but I'm on cd25/11dpo and I've just been for a wee, wiped and I have ewcm. No mistaking it, had a good stretch between my fingers and everything. WTF is going on? Anyone got a clue?

I'm so confused. I think it's all getting to me today. Completely fell apart in the kitchen at tea time and had to have a cuddle with DH. I think it is more than likely pmt. Someone pass the wine!

missmrsmummy · 09/03/2014 19:40

Hi Retro I make notes sometimes lol what if someone stumbled across them? They'd seem a bit odd!

Mango I know what you mean about interpreting ics! I feel completely lost this cycle, not just because I'm new to ics but I was trying to not 'try' too hard so I didn't start testing until after I thought I'd ov'd. Then I randomly got one dark line! So confusing!

RetroHippy · 09/03/2014 19:36

Gosh, I've missed loads today. I'll have to make notes to reply to everyone!

Barmy, 9dpo! You are not doing much for my resolve not to test till 16dpo Grin

Choccy, sounding good! Fx for you that it's a sticky one.

How many is that so far? Is the mad March bus on target still?

Choccywoccydodah · 09/03/2014 19:33

Aww thanks kitty x

LUCY!!!! (Runs over to give a virtual hug) how are you oh preggo one!!! You're still keeping an eye on us all I see!! How is that bubba of your growing? Not long til your next scan is it xx

Nosaint - I've started taking manuka honey. It's supposed to help with increasing blood flow to your reproductive organs (?). Figured it was worth a try but I've prob started too late this month as got my positive opk today (I think - I'm interpreting my ic tests). Luckily we dtd this morning as DH has hurt himself playing football today. Hopefully his knee won't stop him tomorrow!

Treacle - I always use a lube (been using preseed but have recently switched to concieve plus) but SMEP says to take a chesty cough medicine a bit befor as this stimulates all mucus membranes (not just those in your chest) and oh my does this work! I'm enjoying myself more than I have in ages Grin

Congrats barmy and chocy!

PolytheneGirl · 09/03/2014 19:19

Kurama. Not everyone gets implantation bleeding. I didn't with my DS. So there is still a lot of hope! Chin up x

LemonDrizzler · 09/03/2014 19:18

Because fire breathing permits dragons would just be ridiculous! Lol!

missmrsmummy · 09/03/2014 19:10

Hi kitty how are you doing at the mo?

kurama · 09/03/2014 19:03

anyone due to poas fri/sat?! could do with some company lol. was so lonely last night and didnt want to let go of dh at all today. he commented on me always hand holding/hugging/touching his arm etc today. this is not normal pre af behaviour.... begging the 10 mins of stabby pain yest to be implantation pain. but think im grasping at straws as have had no bleeding from it. Grin

KittyVonCatsington · 09/03/2014 18:41

Penis dragons, Penis dragons-not permits dragons FGS!!!!!!!!!

KittyVonCatsington · 09/03/2014 18:39

WineandChoccy and barmy - you give me hope for a fellow late ovulator like me! Grin Keep testing and keep us updated on the darker lines (would love pics as well if you can-feed my addiction!)

Choccy - I clearly tested positive on some tests and not at all on others-but a line is a line is a line! Will be here right with you as you keep testing and the line will get darker-the fire breathing permits dragons say so Smile

lucyfluff · 09/03/2014 18:35

Choccy Smile I'm keeping everything crossed for you sweetie....good luck testing tmrw xx

KittyVonCatsington · 09/03/2014 18:34

KittyVonChoccysington here! Gone for just one day and I have 5 missed pages! I'll use a couple of different posts to catch up...

allthequeens-hope you are still reading. Wanted to give you a virtual hug. I was where you are now, three weeks ago. Cry as much as you need to-think about it as much as you need to-talk about it as much as you need to. It is so hard to feel so euphoric one day and so distraught the next. If there is anything we can do, just ask. Will be thinking of you Thanks

Choccywoccydodah · 09/03/2014 17:47

Me again, they sell 100 for £6.99 here

OP posts:
Choccywoccydodah · 09/03/2014 17:44

Make that 20s here

10miu means you can test early. The lower the miu number, the more sensitive they are Smile

OP posts:
Choccywoccydodah · 09/03/2014 17:42

MrsExtra you can get them on eBay too. I normally buy them in 25s I think. It's free delivery and they work out to be about 18p each I think. If you buy more, you get them cheaper.
I think I've gone through about 40 tests in 6 cycles Smile

OP posts:
MrsExtraOrdinary · 09/03/2014 17:36

There's 100 for 8.95 that sounds like a very cheap deal. Are they ok?

MrsExtraOrdinary · 09/03/2014 17:32

Ok I've got to get some of these amazon things you're all peeing on! What's 10mlu mean? How long would 30 last the usual poas addict? Shall I get 60?

Choccywoccydodah · 09/03/2014 17:28

Saz ill phone the professors office Tuesday. I will be 28 days then (when I'm meant to test), however I ov'd late. Scan will be booked in for 2 weeks tomorrow, scary! Hope I get that far.
Oooo how far are you now, everything going good? X

OP posts:
missmrsmummy · 09/03/2014 17:15

Treacle wtf is in this book?! I'm intrigued!

PolytheneGirl · 09/03/2014 17:13

Can anyone tell me how much they pay for their Clearblue Advanced digital OPKs? I'm thinking of splashing out next cycle. I've just seen 20 for £37 on amazon. Is this any good? And is that all I need? I'm sure I've seen before units that cost about £80 that you buy test strips for. I'm getting a bit confused.
