Morning all

Congratulations choccy really hope its a nice sticky bean for you.

Well Im CD10, and got my 3rd flashing smiley. Last month I had had my fixed smiley today. The second line doesnt seem to be getting darker either so not sure whats going on.

I guess we will carry on DTD this week and hope fixed smiley comes soon.

Oh and this morning in the work kitchen they had some random plastic disposable cups different to ones we usually have which are just the perfect shape for PIAC - so Ive taken 5 and stuck them in my handbag Grin

Hazelbrowneyes · 11/03/2014 09:55

First cycle of temping. I've been off the pill since end of November and trying since January. Cycles so far have been 31 days, 28 days and the last one was 34 days. Decided to temp and use OPKs this month. I'm just waiting for my special pee cups to be delivered. I've had my post this morning and they weren't with it so won't be able to PIAC until tomorrow at the earliest now Sad

Hmm, I did drink a bit on Sunday but nothing yesterday so that might have had an effect I guess.

Not on FF but might join now Grin

EnglishGirlAbroad · 11/03/2014 09:37

No, don't worry Hazel! Lots of things can cause fluctuations. Just try to take it at the same time each day, before you get out of bed. A rubbish nights sleep can effect it, as can alcohol. Just keep at it and maybe try vaginally next cycle

RetroHippy · 11/03/2014 09:31

Don't be worried. Are you on Fertility Friend? They have a gallery of charts that other people have shared which is great for convincing yourself you're pregnant normal!

Is this your first cycle temping? How long since you've been off the pill, and how regular are your cycles anyway? It might be worth temping vaginally next cycle if you don't mind it. I find I trust them more because they're not affected by my mouth breathing!

sazzlehopes · 11/03/2014 09:29

Yes choccy for the FRER!
Hope the prof is happy too!

Hazelbrowneyes · 11/03/2014 09:26

CD8 and 9 have been taken at exactly the same time: 6.30am - alarm goes off, I don't open my eyes, just fumble for the thermometer, stick it in my mouth, wait for it to beep, open eyes to read what it says then I lay with my eyes shut fall asleep for an extra 5 15 minutes.

CD7 was taken at 8.15am.

Thinking about it, I had a full nights uninterrupted sleep last night but the night before I woke up needing a wee at 3am. Could that have had an effect?

Basically, should I be worried about the big fluctuations? Confused

RetroHippy · 11/03/2014 09:19

Hazel, pre-ov this cycle my temps fluctuated between 36.28 and 36.60, I think your range is quite big. There was a definite rise at ov time though, which is the key I believe.

Last cycle was weird anyway, but my temps fluctuated a lot more. I switched to vaginal temps and it seems to work lots better.

I've just looked at FF, temps of 37 degrees aren't unusual in pregnant ladies so I'm not too worried unless my temp keeps going up. Good job I've got a handy thermometer Grin

pickleandspud · 11/03/2014 09:19

Hi, af due some point from sat am quite excited, not much hope though with Dd and ds both having been poorly, you never know though, DH does seem to manage to knock me up quite easily, boobs sore, peeling every 5 mins and upset tummy so either a bun in the oven or mother of all af on it's way, all these symptoms could mean either for me!
Fingers crossed ladiesGrin

Ps wtf is a penis dragon?

EnglishGirlAbroad · 11/03/2014 09:13

Hazel, they are quite big fluctuations. Are you taking your temp at the same time each morning? And before you get out of bed?

CagedMango · 11/03/2014 09:06

Congrats choccy. Hope the call with the doc goes well too!

RetroHippy · 11/03/2014 09:03

Still feeling poo today Sad. The doc said it'd not tonsillitis, it's bronchial and not bacterial either, so anti-biotics won't do anything. Up all night coughing again and my temp this morning was 36.92... Really hoping I'm not getting a fever.

*[Choccy], brilliant news! So pleased it's a definite positive! I bet the professor will be pleased to hear it too Grin

Hazelbrowneyes · 11/03/2014 08:48

Hi All,

Congrats on the BFPs! Grin

I'm on CD9 so will crack out the OPKs soon. Going on last months cycle I'm not due to ovulate until the 23rd but if I stick on a 28 day cycle then it's the 17th and if we go for the average of 31 day cycle then it's the 20th! ARGH!

I'm still getting cramps on the right side and a little bit on the left. I've stupidly googled and scared myself with stories of Ovarian Cysts and Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. Must step away from the Google.

I've been temping! Results:
CD7: 36.19
CD8: 36.53
CD9: 36.31

I take it these are pretty standard fluctuations for the time of the cycle?

EnglishGirlAbroad · 11/03/2014 08:35

Yay! For the +tve FRER Choccy!! Grin Waves green pom poms

EnglishGirlAbroad · 11/03/2014 08:34

So i've read a thread somewhere that says the cbfm can show all highs the first cycle after a reset. This is my first after a reset. I think this has happened to me this cycle. Which has royally pissed me off! Clear Blue are money grabbing arses!! So I think i'm potentially somewhere in the tww. Not actually knowing could be a blessing in disguise! FX all the dtd will pay off... please fetility god, grant me my bfp!

Serenitysutton · 11/03/2014 08:29

Morning all! Positive opk Friday, dtd all weekend, negative Saturday and today so I
