Today is when Holy Week kicks off in style here. The whole town will be kitted out in new clothes, and out and about watching processions. Except for me and DP who are getting a flight. Can't wait to see family and friends!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend, val and res: keep growing those linings. Val: please don't think I showed restraint... My lack of testing was born through fear and fear alone. I am naturally a very impatient person!

We had dinner with friends last night who had a 12 week old baby and I held him (for the first time) and for the first time in a long time didn't have feelings of sadness and grief but happiness and joy. It felt good. I just pray this lasts.

Off to church... Need to pay the big guy some respect (though of course there was a lot of science involved, I still feel my present condition owes a lot to a miracle).

No beer: I've also had cramping (that's one of the reasons that I was convinced that it hadn't worked ... I was so sure my period was coming). I don't remember this happening with DS. I also never googled when pregnant with him like I do now. It's insanely, horrifyingly addictive (and I mean throughout this whole process, not just now!). Google is a wonderful and mean mistress... Have a great break where ever you're off too. Good timing!

I'm happy to say that the doc did call me back and my hCG levels and progesterone are good.

Hi bears! I'm fine, it still doesn't feel quite real! I'm getting lots of period type pains so I've already googled and this is apparently normal. Went to see GP so I'm in the system, so to speak.

AFM: I had a blood test today and the clinic hasn't called with the results! Pretty hacked off to say the least. I called at 5.57 pm (clinic closes at 6) to check and the buggers had turned on their 'office is now closed' message). I even call their emergency number , but they didn't pick up (and what if it had been a real emergency I ask you?!!). Although I did test again this morning, I wanted them to confirm a healthy beta number. Anyway, guess its a small thing to be up in arms about.

So val and res are up next, where is everyone else at (beetle, how many weeks are you?).

Where were you at your last scan res? It's to do with quality too. My cons is taking the approaching that if this one fails we only need get to 7 next time provided the quality is good. What have you had on previous cycles?

Are you acupuncturing? I am a bit divided on the difference this makes - that said, maybe it would the really shit if I didn't

Well, I am still a lino tile (7.2) but we are going for it. Using the 2 day 3 ones, rather than day 5s...so ET on Monday! Eeek, eek and eeeeeek again!

I've let my co-ordinator at Zlin know and she says to carry on with the same dose of oestradiol. Hopefully it should continue to thicken. No cysts or polyps either and she said the lining was perfectly triple lined.

I'm still at St Marys Res as Care said they wouldn't accept my referral without my hysteroscopy results. So I figured I might as well stay were I am for this cycle as it's a 6 week wait for initial consult at care. I will move after this cycle if it doesn't work.
