Morning! Hope you all enjoyed your drunk dtd last night Grin

So, I used a digi this morning: Pregnant 2-3. Eeek. It just doesn't feel real. I guess I can say it's a BFP now though - I really, really hope it sticks.

Happy March ladies - let's hope this is the month for all of us Smile

(PS would you mind if I kept my seat on the bus please, or at least hung off the pole on the back waving my green pom poms, you are all fab)

Choccywoccydodah · 01/03/2014 06:50

Good luck Kitty. So sorry about your chemical, it's a bastard. A few of us have been there!!

Welcome Kitty, really hope this is your month Smile
I'm taking vitex too, mainly to try to stabilise my hormones after my mc. We'll see if it works.

Shall we tell the conductor it's time to get this bus out of the station! Go driver, go!! Grin

Choccywoccydodah · 01/03/2014 06:47

Ds has SERIOUSLY got to stop waking at 5.45am!!
So unbelievably knackered it's untrue!
He's been at 7.15/7.30 for weeks, had one night at my parents 2 Fridays ago due to the house being filled with dust and he woke there at 5.15 and we've had earlies ever since!
Really having a ttc effect too as I'm asleep on the sofa by 9.30.
So tired!!
I had more sleep when he was a baby! Yawn.

What we all up to this weekend?

Re the drinking, I'm not, but I'm not a drinker anyway so I don't miss it.

Well, hello March!!! February bus boardee seeking a ticket for the March bus please!

My stats are: TTC #1, cycle 4, BFP Due 30th March. Had a chemical pregnancy last cycle and hoping against hope that I am one of the lucky ones and get a BFP the cycle straight after.

Have stocked up on supplies: green pom poms, OPKs, Vits, inc. extra B6, more FRERs and am ready for DTD marathon in roughly 7 days time. Here's to wishing that the holy fire breathing penis dragon brings me luck!!! Grin

I think we're OK prior to implantation - hence all those alcoholic one night stands not having an effect.

After that, the bean is nestling into the lining of the womb and I think there are blood vessels there. Two weeks after ovulation the spine, nervous system and brain are forming, and i think that's a delicate time.

I guess I'm just scared and everything I read makes me more scared. What if I do it wrong and ruin the bean's life. And then sod's law I'll get another BFN and have spent another month of my life in a big old funk!

bellaboo88 · 28/02/2014 22:15

I can't imagine booze causing too much trouble in the tww unless you're permanently sozzled...beans got yolk sac to sustain it until placenta grows...just thinking of all the 1night stands & preggers I know x

aenor · 28/02/2014 22:04

I gave up alcohol last month during the TWW - but I was convinced the whole two weeks that I was sure to be upduffed, so I found it easy.

This month I'm not feeling it, so I'm struggling. I know I shouldn't drink but part of me thinks I'm not pregnant, so why not? Had some wine on 7dpo - and then Googled like mad for hours because I was feeling guilty - what if I was pregnant and had an early implantation and the alcohol got into the little bean and so on.

I'm kind of torn. If this process takes a year or longer it would be very very hard to have to forgo alcohol two weeks out of every single month - though I expect it would be great for my liver.

I wish the TWW wasn't so long. Am desperate to poas.

Sparrowlegs248 · 28/02/2014 21:22

I am failing to give up alcohol, though doing v.well at cutting down. Had developed a bit of a wine habit at one point. I figure i'll be alcohol free for quite a while if i am lucky enough to get preggers so not giving up totally just yet!

Hi onelife, yup still cycle buddies (boo! As in neither upduffed yet) good luck this time.

Been for a run AND exercise class today, and got achey buttocks for my trouble - dh offered to massage them later so may well be in for round 2 of dtd!!

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Treaclepie19 · 28/02/2014 20:51

I've barely had anything since Christmas. Decided theres no point putting everything on hold.
DH is getting mega broody. Bless him. Whenever a baby advert comes on he looks up and smiles and asks a question haha.

SaRaRaRaRa · 28/02/2014 20:25

Ha ha Bella, I'm always testing sods law. Ordered some more opks at the end of last week so hopefully I wont be able to use them!

bellaboo88 · 28/02/2014 20:23

I give up drinking in Oct...friends finally accepted its just because I'm not huge on it & I'm not TTC at all nope!! Might shock them soon with cocktails on my birthday...(working with sods law here...if I plan to drink then sods law will prevent me ;-) )

Treaclepie19 · 28/02/2014 20:04

Hehe choccy, problem is they go too quickly!

Choccywoccydodah · 28/02/2014 19:29

And frozen drinks are so my drink treacle, love em!!

Choccywoccydodah · 28/02/2014 19:28

Ha ha cellar envy Grin
Yes, it is going to be our bar so hopefully full of a lot of alcohol Smile The fireplace isn't real down there, it's underneath our lounge fireplace so we are making it into the wine rack (it could hold about 60+ bottles though so it may not be full!!)
Although as I shall be obviously pregnant shortly, I won't be able to touch it Wink
