Ok so bored at home and looked back at the penis dragon links. Dear lord. I can't unsee that last one! Whyyyyy?????!!!!!

KittyVonCatsington · 01/03/2014 22:53

Oh, impatience, we've had a very similar week Thanks you've done well to get through to the weekend.

Chemical pregnancies are Nature's cruel joke. My sister said to me that it might be easier to think that there was something not quite right with the cells and it would not have been a healthy baby. This helps me to think our bodies know what they are doing. I've also read that some women are super fertile after a chemical...let's hope we both fall into that category!

Sparrowlegs248 · 01/03/2014 21:01

Ah impatience so sorry to hear that. Good luck for next time.

missmrs I actually lived depo! I was on it for about 7 years. No problems, no pmt no periods, nothing. Which, at the time, i thought was great!

I had my last jab sept 2012. I didn't get af til june 2013. But i've had reliable 25 day cycles since then. When i hadn't got af after 6 months, my GP did some blood tests which were 'normal' but i actually have no idea what they were for!

lindamagoo · 01/03/2014 21:00

Sorry to hear that impatience, but believe me you will get all the support you need here and a lot of laughs to perk you up a bit Smile Wishing you all the best and a much easier time of it next time round Thanks

rambini · 01/03/2014 20:53

Treaclepie19 · 01/03/2014 20:48

I hope you get your bfp quickly and it is a sticky bean.
Look after yourself.

impatienceisavirtue · 01/03/2014 20:46

Tentative wave

I'm just about ready to start talking about the bus again.

For those that didn't catch it, I did get pregnant on the February bus but miscarried. It happened last Saturday and I was still devastated and in the sobbing-all-day place by Monday but not in a position to take time off work without making life impossible for colleagues due to already being understaffed and deadlines. I've had a horrific week and spent the first of it crying on and off. I know it was very early but it hit me very hard - to go from one day deliriously happy and excited, falling asleep with DH's hand on my stomach, to gut wrenching sadness the next. We had been TTC for eight months and couldn't believe it had finally happened.

ANYWAY. I'm ready to start talking about trying again, so hi :)

missmrsmummy · 01/03/2014 20:39

Notta I was on Depo too. What was your experience with it? It did the job while I was on it but had a bad time after it and wasn't warned about how much it can delay conception afterwards. Hmmph!

Gingerbreadlady1 · 01/03/2014 20:01

Thanks sarara

Tilly28 · 01/03/2014 19:59

Oooh can I join please? Just come off the pill so I'm ttc #1 cycle 1 bfp due 22nd March (if my cycles 28 days, although been on the pill so long iv no idea)

Congratulations to all those who already have BFP! Hope there's lots more to come this month!

SaRaRaRaRa · 01/03/2014 19:50

Gingerbreadlady sorry to hear that. If AF does get you hopefully the other end of March will be lucky for you x

SaRaRaRaRa · 01/03/2014 19:49

Oooh posy and allthequeens. Fx for the morning. Let us know when you have POAS.

Mama am sorry AF arrived, have a blow out and spoil yourself tonight Wine

In case it helps anyone, this month we dtd cd6 to 11 then cd13 to 16. I used digital OPKs for the first time and they didn't pick up ovulation but I usually ov cd12, the day we missed dtd ironically! Hubby and I both took the pregnacare conception tablets and I drank two cartons of pineapple juice in the 5 days after ov. I couldn't face eating the core!

Gingerbreadlady1 · 01/03/2014 19:49

Hmmm, thinking the end of the 2ww is imminent, pink spotting & AF due mon. Too late for implantation bleeding Sad. Looks like it'll be cycle 19 for me, getting really fed up now! At least I can stay on the march bus.

Spotti · 01/03/2014 19:37

chuckling every time someone mentions 'dragon penis'

That guys tattooed whatsit is burned into my brain! The poor man. Actually, the poor tattoo artist/piercing person!!! When I showed it to my OH he to thought it was quite odd and gave me a sort of 'whyyyyyy would you do that to yourself?' look, but he didn't once let out a chuckle unlike me who practically wet myself at the whole thing

I love you viroids, you're so funny. I can always count on you to cheer me up when I've had a poop day Smile.

I said earlier that I'm trying not to symptom spot...well I'm feeling a bit crampy and bloated doubt it has anything to do with that naughty chocolate cake I ate earlier and (tmi alert!) white CM...it's not the blobby stuff that I think comes around the time of icing, but it's kind of sticky looking. (Again, apologies for tmi!). Looked at the calendar and apparently I've written down that AF is due on the 8th not the 10th as I thought...really hoping this crampy feeling isn't the start of an early AF!!! I will be cross if it comes early!

GeorgieWilson · 01/03/2014 19:25

Hi. I'm hopping over from the February bus, cd 43 here and no sign of AF but bfn yesterday. Was an enthusiastic follower of the February bus though I didn't post much
Woohoo to Sara, Tigsy and Littlemiss. Hope the BFP's are very contagious for everyone else!
Sorry about AF mama - fingers crossed this is your month!
Off to read the last thread to discover what the dragon penis is all about!

Sparrowlegs248 · 01/03/2014 19:08

Thanks missmrs I'm hoping to make the spa day fairly regular. I never thought i would enjoy them but for 55 for the day, including breakfast and lunch, it was WELL worth it!

Hmm re pregnacare. I started out on plain old folic acid. Then read lots on here and moved onto seven seas ' trying for a baby' and got very constipated.... Nice. Had a break. Started pregnacare, and again rather bunged up but have two packs to work through. However, have been a static 25 days throughtout (since af returned after coming off depo) once the pregnacare are gone i will be preggers by then i will go back to simple folic acid i think.

missmrsmummy · 01/03/2014 18:54

Also Notta yes I was having short cycles - 23/24 days. Only since I started Pregnacare Conception. Before that I was on WellWoman and having 28 day cycles. So I'm back on WW now and hoping to get longer cycles.

Also last cycle was longer but only due to delayed ov which I think was because of the stress.

missmrsmummy · 01/03/2014 18:51

Thanks Notta that's how I felt. Take it easy Thanks

missmrsmummy · 01/03/2014 18:50

Yippeeee, I have ewcm! Finally! I haven't had it before. Also (ahem) checked my cervix and it is high. Time to get started! Much earlier than last cycle but I'm not asking questions. DH is out at the pub and I intend to pounce upon his return!

Is it classed as cheating if I'm not using opks but checking cervix instead? I'm supposed to be not trying! Lol

Sparrowlegs248 · 01/03/2014 18:48

Been trying to read back and catch up. missmrs hope your return to work goes well. I am currently feeling pretty swamped at work, and feel totally overwhelmed with the amount i have to do, yet seem to really struggle to get on with it. I had a day at a spa last week, with a massage, and it was truly fabulous. I still feel more relaxed and refreshed, and have spent the rest of the week organising my chaos so that i can crack on when i get in monday. At least thats the plan.....

Does anyone else have a short cycle? I think i am the same as mama averaging 25 days. Trying to dtd earlier this time in case i ov earlier than usual.

Dh out tonight so relxing in the bath with a glass of rose. :-)

nicx240187 · 01/03/2014 18:27

Right it's that time again, opks lines are getting stronger and my maths and phone aps say ov tomorrow, so on the Dtd plan right now.
Dtd 2 nights ago, hubby doesn't know but tonight will happen, and may be in a few days, then it's the dreaded 2ww
Af / bfp due 13th march.
Lost count now to which cycle number this is.
Fingers crossed for me and all of you x

Tigsy · 01/03/2014 18:09

Go for it Choccy! I also drank quite large quantities of wine and gin in the few days before my bfp as well! Grin

Choccywoccydodah · 01/03/2014 17:55

Tigsy I'm having a nice warm bath in a few days then!! Grin

OP posts:
Tigsy · 01/03/2014 17:46

Ahh thought of one thing that was different but will sound barmy! I went in a hottub around the time of implantation!
I was worried about going in as I figured it could be around the time of potential implantation so googled it, and there seemed to be some people saying that a warm environment was right for implantation and could help, so I decided to go for it!

Tigsy · 01/03/2014 17:44

My stats were the same as LMSunshine- TTC #1 cycle 3 BFP March 1st

Didn't really do anything special this month. Didn't bother with OPKs this month, and just tried to dtd as often as possible around when I guessed ovulation would be. Had been away on holiday for a week skiing which I think helped take my mind off the TTC craziness. Lots of luck for the rest of you and hope you will all be getting your BFPs very soon! It's a lucky bus!
