Hi mama, glad your appointment went well and the dr has agreed to start tests. Is 5month wait for the fertility refferal or the initial tests? Fx you get your BFP before then. Shame she wouldn't prescribe the progesterone there and then and just 'see' if it worked!!

Nordic, sorry your feeling so down. If only things could be a bit more simple for you after all you've been through for dd and ds!

Lorelei - congrats!! March is looking set to be a pretty good month!!!

There must be something about cycle 3, so many people get their BFP on 3! I got mine on cycle 3. This is is 3, post mc so fingers crossed!!

Off for reflexology now! Ciao!! Smile

MrBsMrsB · 03/03/2014 14:24

Yep, I believe that is 5 BFPs

BFPs

  1. SaRaRaRaRa TTC#2 Cycle#3 BFP 1st March
  2. Tigsy TTC#1 Cycle#3 BFP 1st March
  3. LittleMissSunshine33 TTC#1 Cycle#3 BFP 1st March
  4. PosyFossilsShoes TTC#1 Cycle#3 BFP 2nd March
  5. Lorelie BFP 3rd March

Lorelie is our lucky 3rd March BFP because on the stats, there was no-one due a BFP today. We are well on our way for 1 (ideally more than 1) BFP everyday in March.
(Still looking for ladies to fill the 16th, 23rd, 26h, 27th & 29th although I am pretty positive that as we are all addicted to poas early, then those dates will be filled )

gennibugs · 03/03/2014 14:18

Congratulations Lorelei

Wow what a start!

Nordicmom · 03/03/2014 14:07

Congrats Lorelie

Nordicmom · 03/03/2014 14:06

Thanks Linda , Genni. Glad you got on the waiting list Mama

rambini · 03/03/2014 14:05

Congratulations Lorelie thats fabulous news Smile
Is that 5/31 already?
Go March bus!
waves green pom poms excitedly

MrsGingerbread · 03/03/2014 13:55

Yay. Congratulations Lorelie!!

lorelie · 03/03/2014 13:39

Omg. I got my bfp today! Sorry haven't been very active on here for a while but I was getting obsessed so I gave it a break. Was coming up due for bfp but was getting cramps so I thought, here we go again, another period, another month to wait etc etc, but no af came so I did an internet cheapie test this morning. I could see a very faint line but convinced myself I was just seeing things and would do another one tomorrow morning. Well I'm not known for my patience so I went and got a clearblue at lunchtime and there was no confusion then, a bfp!! I can't believe it!

gennibugs · 03/03/2014 13:12

mama i cant believe that wait time, but at least you are on the list now and as you say, better than waiting until then full year is up (but you'll get your BFP before then anyway).

mrsb thank you for renewing my bus ticket and look forward to seeing the new stats later. :)

nordic have a good rest and look after yourself today.

oh and 3isour I am swearing off google this month - the contradictions and possible symptoms drive me crazy - literally everything can be taken to be either a symptom or not!

mama31 · 03/03/2014 13:11

I know choccy! It does feel frustrating. But I'm just glad I'm on that list given that it's 5 months long!!! And hoping to have my bfp before then!

I'm going to stick with the vitex for now and wait to see what DH sperm analysis comes back with. I have to say that I did get pregnant before with short cycles and spotting...even though it was 12 years ago I do think it's always been this sort of pattern.

I will keep trying and at least I know by August ill get more help if nothing has happened by then.

I need to stay positive, I know that's the main thing and I do believe it will happen

lindamagoo · 03/03/2014 13:06

Aw Nordic I wish I had something to say that would make you feel better but I doubt there are any words to help Hmm I will be 43 in a couple of months and my gut tells me there might not be another baby for us after how long it took for the last 2 but we are going to give it a go anyway, think we will probably stop trying if nothing happens after 6 months, don't think I could take the heartache of bfn's every month for much longer than that xxx

Nordicmom · 03/03/2014 12:43

Cd 4 here and although breast are not so sore anymore my nausea is full on ( but am not being sick ) and am constantly peeing . From pretty extensive experience on early pregnancy I would think that something did happen this month but it didn't get far enough for a positive test. . I've had lingering nausea before after a chemical /misscarriage for weeks ,also period coming 3 d early really surprised me it never happens . Didn't feel like this at all the other 3 c we tried . I've been feeling pretty deprassed and wondering what the hell I'm doing to myself . Feel tempted to go for IVF sooner rather than later .I'm curious to see what would happen since it worked on the second try with our surrogate but I've never tried it on myself iykwim . It's a pain in the but though and not exactly easy process or fun let alone cheap . F needles to be honest I've had enough of them in the 5 y it took to have DD for one ( am a bit of a phobic but more used to them by now) . Aaargh I just have a bad feeling I'm prob wasting my prescious time (39 next summer) and I'll be nowhere in a year if I keep on going . To be honest after everything I've been through I wish we could do surrogacy again with the same lovely lady in the States but talk about complicated ( practically impossible ATM ) and expensive so that's not an option at all right now also don't think shed'd want to again .
Sorry to moan I can't really be at all positive ATM , atleast can rest and look after myself since kids at school and nursery today .
Congrats to all with new BFPs. I also conceived our first DS on the 3rd cycle :)! Hadn't even heard of opk back then was guessing my dates and it worked .

SnowBells · 03/03/2014 12:33

Oh.... where did the March hare bus go?

I am on CD16... and CB Fertility monitor (2nd month of use) still says "LOW".

Anyone knows what's going on?

BearsInMotion · 03/03/2014 12:28

Hello ladies, can I join in? TTC #2, this is our first real attempt to try again! AF ended a few days ago, so hope this weekend is a chance to start for DC2! So BFP won't be until the end of the month, if it comes at all!

spinningirl10 · 03/03/2014 12:13

Mrsmummy....pleased it went ok at work this morning and fx for that Christmas baby while your brothers here.

Mama....5 months!! That's a long wait, fx you get a sooner appointment but hopefully a bfp will come sooner and u won't need to goGrin

3isourmagicnumber · 03/03/2014 12:10

Hi ladies. Hope you are all ok this morning.

Sorry your feeling a little unsure after your appointment mama but at least all your results look good and you are on the waiting list although 5 months seems ridiculous. Fx you never make it to the appt as u will have your bfp before then xx

I have decided google is the worst. Symptom spotting and putting it into Google just gets your hopes up then confuses you because there r so many contradictions. Dose anybody else find this?????? Has anyone found anything useful on google?????? I was googling ewmc as I have had loads since ovulation everyday (sorry tmi) and def can't remember having this every month. Has anyone else experienced this and what was the outcome????

I thought I would be ok with the tww but I'm sick now (currently on 8dpo). I dreamt last night that I poas and got 2 bfps. That prob hasn't helped so thinking of getting some tests even though I know from past experience I prob wouldn't get a bfp until my missed period day even if I was pregnant. Just gonna try and leave off till the weekend. Looking forward to more bfps later today.

Enjoy your day xxx

missmrsmummy · 03/03/2014 11:39

Hi all

Thank you for the well wishes. I went back to work this morning, just for 2 hours. I'm exhausted! It went ok but I'm a bit overwhelmed.

In other news, my brother (who lives in Aus) has just told me he'll be back in the UK for Christmas.

PLEASSSSSEEEE let me have a December baby! Literally praying all month now.

Spotti · 03/03/2014 11:28

Ooh, if cycle #3 is a lucky cycle then fx March might be my month!

Glad to hear the doctors are being helpful Mama, even though sometimes you do have to trust your gut instinct and ignore their medical degree (you know your body better than they do, and if you think the vitex is helping then sod the doctors and keep taking it!). Not liking the sound of a 5 month waiting list though! At least your GP is being helpful and encouraging you to get started sooner rather than later.

On a different note, I may have just google imaged "EWCM". Don't ever do it. It's gross. I mean, it's gross enough to see your own, but to see pictures of other women's EWCM is just weird! I did learn the difference between the types of CM though, so although it was a 'why did I just google that?' moment, it was at least educational :p

lindamagoo · 03/03/2014 11:27

Wow 5 months waiting list mama, I hope you get your bfp before then. I'll keep my fx for you x

Choccywoccydodah · 03/03/2014 11:17

Mama, sorry you've come out not with any proper answers, in my experience, GPs have been a waste of space!! They told me to do one thing and the specialist told me something else. Afterall, GPs refer you because they are not specialists in that field. And a 5 month wait???? Wtaf??
My specialist has given me pesseries due to my spotting, so I do think you should go back and insist they give them to you. They might not work, but it's another thing ruled out before you get your referral appointment.
Honestly, 5 months is a joke!!

mama31 · 03/03/2014 11:12

Hi ladies thanks for all your lovely thoughts and well wishes.

GP has referred us on to the consultant now and she put that we'd been ttc for a year which is not technically true but she said there's a 5 month waiting list so best not waste any time. She said initially tests/scans/dye test will be done to check tubes clear and everything inside is working as it should. Then after that if still no joy, would be referred on for fertility treatment.

We discussed the spotting and she talked me through all my blood results and said they are completely normal and unnconected to the spotting. She said 21 days bloods should be between 1-80 and mine being 33 were perfectly normal. Also said spotting is not related to infertility and could just be from the cervix. (not convinced and will continue taking vitex)

I suppose it's good to be referred on for support though, but 5 months waiting list!!! Hoping I get my bfp before then obviously.

DH still waiting on sperm analysis, his gp works at a snails pace. Will be chasing that up as need to know that this is not the issue.

Have mixed emotions after my appointment, I do trust my gp though she is very good and has been my gp for a long time. I just hope she's right re the spotting.

lindamagoo · 03/03/2014 11:11

Lol punky so there is Smile 3 is the magic number...

PunkyPod · 03/03/2014 11:05

There's something a bit spooky about cycle #3 with the BFPs so far!

MrBsMrsB · 03/03/2014 10:53

Good Morning all,

I think, just as a standard, we should all expect a weekend on MN to yield about 8 pages!!!

I have the stats and have attempted to add everyone to the rollcall. I'll add the list of BFPs now, but post the "Awaiting BFPs" and "Another chance to shake green Pom Poms" Ladies a little later

mama31 and gennibugs, Your bus tickets are still valid and FX you both get the last set of BFPs for this bus.

BFPs
Congratulations to
SaRaRaRaRa TTC#2 Cycle#3 BFP 1st March
Tigsy TTC#1 Cycle#3 BFP 1st March
LittleMissSunshine33 TTC#1 Cycle#3 BFP 1st March
PosyFossilsShoes TTC#1 Cycle#3 BFP 2nd March

There are a few ladies who FX also should have got their BFPs over the weekend..... Let us know how your doing Thanks

PunkyPod · 03/03/2014 10:21

Morning crazy ladies! those dragons were hillarious! I hope they keep bringing us loads of luck.

Congratulations to the BFPs so far. Who's going to be next?

impatience I can only echo what's been said by many on here already about MCs...it's a huge and sad loss, there's no reason to feel like you're taking it badly. If i can just tell my story...When TTC#1 i had an MC at 7ish weeks and the grief hit me like a truck. Bloody hell it's awful. I spent about 3 weeks getting over it, accepting it had happened, thinking about what to do next etc. DH and I talked about it a lot and that helped. I started doing OPKs and soon found i was ovulating and it just felt right to jump right back on the wagon and go for it. And i have to thank my lucky stars that we conceived our DD then. She came in the cycle following the MC. I wouldn't have gone for it if it didn't feel like the right thing to do. But it did and i wouldn't be without her.

We're now TTC#2 and sadly i had another MC in January at about 6 weeks. This one didn't affect me so badly, i think i knew from the start that i didn't even feel pregnant so the hormones just weren't there. Don't get me wrong i'm sad and keep thinking about the milestones we'd be hitting now if it had stuck but I have to trust that my body knew this would not make a healthy child. Better now than finding out much later/having to go through any procedures...

We're back TTC and now on cd9. Am hoping the OPKs will start showing positives at the end of the week. DH wants this too but knows how badly i want this now.

I guess all i'm trying to say is be kind to yourself, do what feels right to you. And talk to your DH (and us) as much as you need.

mama i hope your appointment goes well.

Spring is on its way, this makes me happy Daffodil
