Welcome aboard ladies!
Get your pom poms in the air, as well as your ass (post dtd!) and we might get somewhere!
Here's to some BFPs! Wine

Please don't talk about exercise.

RetroHippy · 04/03/2014 18:12

I know. Wouldn't it be rubbish?

missmrsmummy · 04/03/2014 18:10

Indeed Retro, just think of how limited life would be - no exercise or concerts! Tut

RetroHippy · 04/03/2014 17:47

Well in that case missmrs, it would be a real shame if you can't go Grin

kurama · 04/03/2014 17:41

Yer I am genniebugs. got someone to cover my shift at work tonight coz didn't know if/when I'd get to go home. And not back at work till Thurs. now I'm in bed as hardly slept last night and dh is making me pancakes Smile

missmrsmummy · 04/03/2014 17:41

Omg genni cream eggs and Kettle chips?! I'm moving into your house!

missmrsmummy · 04/03/2014 17:40

Retro yep it's seated but very high up and definitely not suitable for pg women!

gennibugs · 04/03/2014 17:38

mwhahahaha Retro my DH said the same last cycle before football practice. I gave him my best Hmm look.
Ha

gennibugs · 04/03/2014 17:37

Speaking of inconveniences, we've got a friend's wedding in December overseas. DH booked the hotel last night - and I thought ooh might be PG by then so wouldnt be able to fly. He did get the free cancellation option though but still...would be most inconvenient....plus the hen do in November... Grin

Kurama I hope it is as the others say. Hope you are resting.

On a separate note I am going for a run tonight once I get home. I can no longer justify the stone Ive put on as being down to TTC. I need to get back on track (and ignore the creme eggs in the fridge and the kettle chips in the cupboard).

kurama · 04/03/2014 17:36

English girl. no I don't think this is a common side effect. I'm pretty sure the pain on Fri was ovulation so I'm still hoping I could be pregnant. This is the second cyst to burst and I don't want it to happen for a 3rd time! fc for a bfp! Grin

RetroHippy · 04/03/2014 17:35

missmrs, so jealous of the GaGa tickets! Sod it, go anyway. Is it seated?

RetroHippy · 04/03/2014 17:33

And if not this month, it would cause a lot of hassle to have a Christmas baby Grin!

DH is refusing to DTD because he plays sport on a Tuesday and apparently 'no professional sportsperson does it before playing'.

I didn't like to point out that he's hardly professional! Though I am now looking up timings for DTD and positive OPKs and worrying that we'll miss it if we wait till later tonight. But we did DTD on Saturday, so hoping there's still some hardy swimmers in there as a back up.

Positive Mental Attitude - this is our month!

missmrsmummy · 04/03/2014 17:18

Like your thinking re: the party Retro! I have tickets for Lady Gaga in Oct and it would be most inappropriate for a 7-month pg lady to attend! Hoping I will have to sell my tickets Wink

RetroHippy · 04/03/2014 17:11

And this bus is the most fun bus of them all

toots123 · 04/03/2014 17:09

Hi all.
fx everything is ok kurama.

Ive worked out that I might not even be due my af/bfp on this bus but im not going anywhere just in case. Mostly because there are so many bfps I want to stay in this lucky bus

RetroHippy · 04/03/2014 17:03

No preseed or similar ( though autocorrect wants to change it to 'preserve'. Might that work?). I did look in Sainsburys but they obviously don't cater to ttc obsessives!

I'm going to keep swigging water and Benylin, steer clear if Wine for a few days and rely on the fact that there's a big party coming up at which it would be very inconvenient and obvious if I were in the early stages of pg. Should garuntee I'm upduffed!

I'm so chuffed I'm having a 'normal' cycle Grin I keep singing 'I'm so excited' to myself crazy lady

KittyVonCatsington · 04/03/2014 17:02

I second what RetroHipy said, kurama-the pain might mean an egg was being realeased so let's hope the swimmers caught it! Hope you're not in too much pain now Thanks

KittyVonCatsington · 04/03/2014 16:59

Interesting reading about the exercise worries. I'm sure that it doesn't make a difference but i think it is the fact that it could be something to 'blame' if something goes wrong and that's why some might suggest to reduce it during TWW and beyond.

I went to Pilates (going twice a week for 6 years, so not new) last Tuesday and the next morning got my bleed. Of course, in my irrational state, I blamed it on Pilates until I did some more research and realise it would not have made any difference. But it's hard to not think about it!

I remember my Reflexologist saying they recommend sessions before ovulation but that is only in case they get blamed if something happens during implantation. therefore, I'm going to continue with exercise as normal, Posy-even during the TWW and beyond!

Hi Caged Mango!

missmrsmummy · 04/03/2014 16:58

Glad you're home and ok kurama

Yay for your smiley Retro and yes drink lots of water! I'm doing the same with lemon juice in. Have you got preseed or similar?

EnglishGirlAbroad · 04/03/2014 16:52

Just keep DTD retro! That's all you can do!!

Kurama, glad the pain has subsided. Is that common for clomid to have that kind of reaction? Jesus! You poor think!! Hopefully you'll get your BFP though and won't have to go through it again!

RetroHippy · 04/03/2014 16:40

kurama, glad the pain is under control and you don't need surgery. Fx that it was a good egg being released (rather forcefully) and it won't happen next month as you'll be pg!

RetroHippy · 04/03/2014 16:36

Posy, damn, that's my weekly swordfish and marlin surprise off the menu!

In other news, got a positive OPK today Grin. However, despite copious amounts of Benylin my cm appears to be... Well, gloopy. About the consistency of PVA, but not stretchy. Lots more water for me...

kurama · 04/03/2014 16:18

Back home now. Not in as much pain as this morn but no idea if pain is going or just the mega strong painkillers have kicked in.... They think it is over stimulation but it's only on one side not normal and the pain last night was probably a cyst rupturing as one side is quite enlarged with fluid round it. They wouldn't let me eat at all today in case I needed surgery. thankfully I don't but still had a panic attack when surgeon walked into my room! still hoping I may have got lucky despite everything but we shall have to wait till 15th to see and I pray it doesn't happen again next monthSad

PosyFossilsShoes · 04/03/2014 16:13

Retro the NHS reckons smoked salmon is okay and fresh should be limited to two portions a week - it's just swordfish, marlin, shark and fresh sushi that are off the list altogether.

RetroHippy · 04/03/2014 16:07

I am currently munching on a smoked salmon sandwich. Because of course in a couple of weeks I won't be able to...
