Hi all,
I had a m/c at about 6 weeks in Jan. Had a natural m/c scanned a week later, nothing there, negative pg test two weeks later.
All normal.
Ovulated about two weeks after miscarriage, (used opks).
Started getting possible symptoms about a week later, most strong being funny taste in mouth which I had early with both previous pregnancies.
10 DPO I started bleeding, was earlier than I would expect AF, I thought maybe implantation bleed, but it got heavier so I just thought it wad AF, early maybe because m/c messed up cycle.
Ok, not my month.
Anyway bleeding continued like normal AF, but also having possible pg symptoms. I put it down to hormones a bit off.
Anyway curiosity just got the better of me and I POAS, and there is a v faint line.
Now I am very confused! I am 14 DPO but still bleeding a little.
Any ideas?

Oh chicken in really sorry it isn't better news but at least the hcg level is back down low enough to not register anymore and as you say it's a clean slate, you know where you are.

Huge hugs, you know where we are on the TTC mc thread xxx

noitsachicken · 03/03/2014 13:12

Looks like it might have been a CP/very early loss.
Had a chat with the doctor who said wait and see, but I just did another test which was negative.

I think this second bleed has cleared it all out.
At least I know where I am now, back to the OPK's!

Thanks for everyones support. It helps to write it all down.

Oh chicken I'm sorry Sad

noitsachicken · 02/03/2014 19:53

Today I started bleeding again. Still have a positive test, but no lighter or darker.
Going to try to get a doctors appointment tomorrow to see if I can figure out what is going on.

Hopefully you will get some answers soon xx

I am still getting a faint positive on an hpt but I have never had a negative. I'm just coming to the end of my first period and it's still reading positive!!! It's driving me insane.

noitsachicken · 01/03/2014 12:45

Yes sebsmummy that's what I would expect too.

I am going to wait until after the weekend then maybe try a digital test.

OP posts:
littlemisswine · 01/03/2014 11:52

id still get a digital test as an indication of the hcg levels

sebsmummy1 · 01/03/2014 09:38

Chicken, my understanding is that hcg on the early days should double every 48 hours so I would expect the line to be getting darker.

noitsachicken · 01/03/2014 07:28

Still faint line. No darker but still there.
Wish it would get darker or disappear! Hate this limbo time.

Thanks.
I do have cheap ones, but DH thinks I am mad! There is an ever growing line of tests in the bathroom window!
I certainly feel like I might be pregnant, the metallic taste has gotten stronger.
Maybe just one more.........

miserywaterfall · 27/02/2014 21:58

Fingers crossed for good news!

It's so easy for them to advise staying away from the tests! If you have cheapies, I say use them and see if the line is getting any darker! x

noitsachicken · 27/02/2014 14:12

Lovely lady at the EPU said its unlikely to be related to the miscarriage. Could be implantation bleeding, could be chemical pregnancy. She advised waiting a week then testing again.
I will try to step away from the pregnancy tests!

OP posts:
noitsachicken · 27/02/2014 12:55

Yes maybe worth a try, but I am a bit reluctant to waste the money!
Couldnt get a docs apt, I might ring the EPU and have a chat with them, they were lovely when I miscarried.

littlemisswine · 27/02/2014 08:23

is it worth using a digital test for an indication of how many weeks?

noitsachicken · 27/02/2014 07:27

Another positive this morning, still faint but clearly there.
Going to try to speak to the doctor today.

noitsachicken · 26/02/2014 19:51

Thankyou. I will definately update.
Fingers crossed for both of us x

As I'd love - that should have read!

sebsmummy1 · 26/02/2014 19:28

Don't be silly, you've done everything right and they will date you with an early scan. Please update this thread as is live confirmation that you are indeed pregnant again. Will give me hope Grin

noitsachicken · 26/02/2014 19:24

Thankyou sebsmummy
I don't want to get my hopes up because of the bleeding.
Its so confusing, I should have done as they suggested and waited one cycle before trying again, this is obviously why they advise that!

OP posts:
sebsmummy1 · 26/02/2014 19:12

oooh that sounds really positive then chicken Grin

I am still testing faint positive three weeks after my miscarriage started and bleeding. So i know how confusing it is in the aftermath.

Wishing you lots and lots of luck xxxxx

noitsachicken · 26/02/2014 19:03

misery its difficult to tell as not sure when to count from, but I am about 15 DPO now.

sebsmummy I m/c on 21/1, a scan a week later showed everything was gone, and I had a negative pg test two weeks after that.

I did another test this afternoon and it was darker.

Noitsachicken. When was your mc and did you get a negative pregnancy test at any point afterwards?

miserywaterfall · 26/02/2014 18:04

When will your period by officially late? Maybe schedule the docs appointment for after that date and that way they might not be so inclined to tell you to just wait it out?

noitsachicken · 26/02/2014 08:22

Yes that's probably a good idea.
Although are they likely to just say wait and see?

littlemisswine · 26/02/2014 07:37

id book a doctors appointment for a blood test
