We're are getting dangerously close to 1000 posts on the other bus so thought I would start another one. Will update stats in another post. Fingers Crossed for lots more BFPs Grin

They will whisk me in as an emergency C-section and I definitely don't want that - I want it all to be as peaceful and serene as possible Smile It helps that you said at worst it is only 26 days, that's nothing in the grand scheme of things is it really Smile

MrsExtraOrdinary · 26/02/2014 15:25

Oh Lordy winter, that's all a bit pants! Honestly resting is the best thing for you. Don't worry that you're always sleeping, resting really is the best thing. Floradix is another good tonic if you can't get hold of spa tone. I agree I can only tolerate the apple flavour too Confused. Make sure your eating little and often to keep your strength up. I always found raisins a good sugar kick, which also counteracted the effects if the iron.

It's not too long now at least. So counting the days 26 at worst! Grin If you go into labour naturally will they whisk you into theatre or see how you go?

Writerwannabe83 · 26/02/2014 14:24

My ELCS is booked for the 24th March but my Midwife is convinced I'm going to go into natural labour earlier because of how big he is - there's just no more room for him Smile

My iron levels were re-checked and have come up from 9 to 10.7 so my Midwife is happier although they are still low. My reading at my 12 week bloods were 11.3 so ideally they want me back at the level so they've increased my dose of Iron Tablets. I bought some more Spatone but wrongly ordered the plain flavour as opposed to the Apple flavour and they are just vile!!!! Grin Apparently my platelets are a little low and my white blood count is a bit high (both probably because of how run down I'm feeling) so have got to have more bloods next week to re-check everything again.

I'm just surprised at how knackered I am - over the last 7-10 days I have really gone downhill. I just have no energy, I'm constantly breathless, keep getting colds and nasty coughs and can't stop sleeping. I woke up at 08.00am this morning (after 9 hours sleep) and then within two hours of being up I felt exhausted again and had to go back to bed, where I slept for another 3 hours. I think my already dodgy heart is just struggling to cope with all the extra weight and fluid and my body is saying no!!! When I see my Consultant tomorrow I'm going to see if they can bring my CS forward by a week as I'm really starting to struggle now.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 26/02/2014 13:51

Writer I too would be going with the sun roof suggestion! 100 centile indeed! Shock Wow wee, he's a big boy! Have you got a date? How are your bloods doing? X

Writerwannabe83 · 26/02/2014 13:28

kitty - so sad to see your news this morning, I hope you are and managing at work - make sure you take some time off if you feel like you need it x x Thanks

MrsExtra - DH did play Rugby but then had a shoulder injury so just plays football and cricket these days. It was decided at 20 weeks I'd have a c-sec because of my health conditions but Thank god that decision was made as I'm not sure I'd be able to push him out anyway Smile

Hazelbrowneyes · 26/02/2014 12:20

Kate, I bet I cave before the weekend! Grin

I have everything crossed for you Kate!

Good luck too mama!

missmrsmummy · 26/02/2014 12:14

Come on girls, we need to finish the bus on a high! Fx Smile

katecupoftea · 26/02/2014 12:13

Yours sounds a lot more hopeful than mine (mainly because still convinced we didn't dtd at the right time). No tingly nips either. Can't believe you can hold off testing until the weekend Hazel I envy your willpower!

mama when is BFP/af due again?

Hazelbrowneyes · 26/02/2014 12:03

Kate my cramps have eased off a lot, still got a dull ache occasionally but mainly just a cramp in my right side when I pee. I'm peeing lots today too.

Boobs are no sorer than normal, the tingling in nipples has gone, bit of nausea but that's not unusual for me.

I'm excited but trying not to get hopes up yet!

mama31 · 26/02/2014 12:01

Kate I have slightly tender bbs and I'm starving! Hoping it's no pms symptoms but who knows....it likely is!

katecupoftea · 26/02/2014 11:18

...I've started so I'll finish! Lots of epic dreams that always include babies. It's odd, with all the effort of ttc I do keep forgetting about the end result!

katecupoftea · 26/02/2014 11:17

My obvious cramps from yesterday have disappeared so all I'm left with is sore boobs and a big appetite. And lots

Hazelbrowneyes · 26/02/2014 10:46

Grin missmrs I will correct him next time!

I've just had a chat with him about my "ooh when should I test?!" and he's said the weekend as he's quite rightly pointed out this is only month 3 off the pill so my cycles might be all over the place.

Damn him being so sensible! Grin

I sulked a bit and he told me I'd only be disappointed if it was a BFN, which is true. So if no AF by Saturday I'll go to Superdrug, buy a few tests and test Sunday AM.

missmrsmummy · 26/02/2014 10:15

Hazel I think you should correct DH; we are sexpertsnet Wink

MrsExtraOrdinary · 26/02/2014 10:00

Writer no wonder you felt rather sapped! My goodness, is your dh a rugby player? I think a caesarean is a very good plan, my last ds had a head on 75th centile, I won't make your eyes water with what happened, but I'm only 5'2" so I'm sure you can imagine. The very best of luck for a smooth delivery and safe recovery.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 26/02/2014 09:57

Hazel your dh sounds very much like mine! Grin Good luck with the testing whenever you do!

EmilyPinkOrBlue · 26/02/2014 09:51

Hazel your dh's comment made me giggle x

Hazelbrowneyes · 26/02/2014 09:37

Oh Kitty I am so sorry. Massive hugs x

Still no AF. Haven't tested. The period type cramps I had yesterday have disappeared but I have pain on my right side that's quite sharp whenever I take a deep breath in or pee. SENS BIT:

Of course, I googled and convinced myself that if I am pregnant then it's ectopic. I need to step away from google and try to be a bit more positive, I think.

I don't know when to test. I might nip out today to buy a test for tomorrow or tonight but I think I'll probably wait until the weekend. I asked DH his opinion and he said "I dunno, you're the one on 'Expertsnet' or whatever it's called" Grin

sazzlehopes · 26/02/2014 09:32

Kitty, I'm just so sorry to hear your news. sending hugs.
A christmas baby would be wonderful, and my ds is a jan baby - not ideal at all straight after xmas, but these things have a way of just happening, he is the most special little thing and I wouldn't have it any other way now. Go for it when you are ready xx

NewlymrsB · 26/02/2014 09:21

I think it's far to say February has been a pretty disappointing month! Sorry to all those who are still in the ttc game. Congrats to those who got out! Here's to March with lots of BFPs and Xmas babies!!! Xxx

EmilyPinkOrBlue · 26/02/2014 09:17

Thank you English girl having all you ladies support is a great comfort :)
af due today, crampy pains just went to loo expecting red but only a beige kind of discharge but think I am totally out and am now in mind frame that I'm not pregnant and to try to keep myself busy till end of af.
Looking forward to our Friday party! I may just have a drink or few!! :)

MrsExtraOrdinary · 26/02/2014 09:10

Kitty I'm so very sorry!! Give yourself time, it's so hard. Lots of us have been there and it's one of those things that just simply is not fair. Really feeling for you. Thanks

EnglishGirlAbroad · 26/02/2014 09:09

Oh Kitty, thats awful. Take some time to look after yourself. And allow yourself a goof cry! Sounds like DH is super supportive. We'll be ready to welcome you with our green fertility pom poms on the March bus when you're ready!!

Sorry about your bfn too Emily, please don't put any pressure on your self. There are no rules when ttc. It could be quick, it could take a while. But we're here no matter how long you're with us.

Hopefully there's a few more bfps left for the last couple of days.

katecupoftea · 26/02/2014 08:35

It's a great idea about the leaving party and then mass exodus to the March bus. Let's hope we don't curse it with our bad luck.

For me, still no af, was due yesterday, bfn this morning but feeling less hopeful despite the smudgey IC last night!

Wineandchoccy · 26/02/2014 08:31

Oh Kitty I'm so sorry, let DH look after you.

This bus has been rubbish, let's hope there's spring in the air on the next bus.

I'm still in the 2ww so I am going to end up on the March bus for bfp.

if it is bad news we are going to try again even though it would be a Christmas baby but if you had asked me that last year when we had just stared ttc I would have said I would have avoided a Christmas baby but now I don't care I just want to have a baby Sad
