missmrs dont let other people put you off. There is always a reason people will give. For me its "you're too young". I haven't told anyone we are tryong but they still decide to say it.

Do whats right for you and your family, not anyone else :)

LittleMissSunshine33 · 21/02/2014 07:11

Must be hard being off missmrs as I'm sure it's become your focus how long are you off for?
I do see what you mean MrsEx I don't feel stressed by it I am of the mind what will be will be but then I'm still fairly early in my journey I don't know if I'd still be saying that in another few months time Blush

One more day to go, and started off feeling pretty nonplussed. No PMT ymptoms, but no possible preg symptoms either, although felt a bit ... Strange. Was crossing fingers, but something felt too familiar.

Yes, well.

Now have decided snuffles, irritating but pointless cough and raging fever. I suspect AF will follow, I never notice her sneak up when I feel peaky.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 20/02/2014 21:44

I think that was just it! I got bored of waiting for a baby that wasn't going to appear! So I threw myself into a life that didn't involve a baby. Didn't mean I wasn't trying, just filled life to the brim with everything else so it wasn't the only thing I was worrying about. I really did think my body had completely failed me and I was pretty inconsolable. I had children with my xh far too easily, but I watched them walk away every other wkd and the sadness was overwhelming that dh and I would never share a child together. But once I had come to terms with the fact it was might never happen it became more bearable for me. Smile

missmrsmummy · 20/02/2014 21:34

Although Mrs I can see how you were distracted so I need a distraction! Hmm, can I start my own business?

missmrsmummy · 20/02/2014 21:28

Do you think anyone who says they're 'not trying' is actually not trying? What do they even mean? Just having sex carelessly? I can't imagine not being obsessed one you've decided to go for it?!? How do you do that???

MrsExtraOrdinary · 20/02/2014 21:15

I've got a theory about the January bus! It just so happens that Christmas and new year involved a few bank hols, time off work and merriment. For some, a time worry is less and focus on having a good time. Also I expect let's Face it far more sex!!! Grin

I know after 18 mts ttc last time after mc a Christmas snowed in with lots of sex solved it! Plus I had given up ttc and got heavily involved in my own business on the run up to Christmas, thinking dh and I were never going to have our own baby together. But fortunately we did. For me this baby would be icing on the cake but I do accept I was very lucky last time and really struggled with a stressful pg, traumatic birth and huge surgery subsequently. I'm probably off my rocker even considering it actually but thought we'd give it a whirl for our ds to have a little friend now I'm well (ish) again.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for everyone. But don't underestimate how much stress can be detrimental. We all have good months and bad months where coping with it is easier on the road of ttc.

LittleMissSunshine33 · 20/02/2014 20:33

Missmrs I am the same people say "it always happens when you stop trying!" Wel look at the January bus there seemed to be loads and all those were trying! Wink

missmrsmummy · 20/02/2014 20:29

Zermatt 10-14 day luteal phase is considered ok Smile

kitty I'm hanging on to see how you get on! Fx you get that bfp - you so deserve it!

Sorry to AFs. I'm feeling very sorry for myself today. I am sick of people telling me not to 'try' - how do you not 'try'?! Impossible!

Wineandchoccy · 20/02/2014 19:46

Evening Ladies, I thought I had ovulated 6 days ago because I had stabby pains and lots of ewcm but I found some opks in my drawer and did 1 yesterday and there was a faint line and today a really dark line so we are going to dtd again tonight. We have dtd every other day since cd8, I'm knackered!!

I'm on cd26 so looks like I will be on the March bus for my bfp - let's think positive Grin

LemonDrizzler · 20/02/2014 17:43

I'm out - shortest bus journey ever! Really gutted as moving on to month 8 and I feel like something must be wrong. :(

Had just really got my hopes up this month with such a long cycle. Sad times.

Anyway enough misery! Good luck to everyone else - hope you get your bfps soon!

KittyVonCatsington · 20/02/2014 16:50

Terrified today. This time last cycle, I got some spotting before AF arriving in full force the day after. Keep checking - I'll do myself a mischief if I'm not careful! Current symptoms: waves of nausea still, episodes of cramping, can often feel my heart beat/pumping. If these are just symptoms of AF, I will not be happy having them every month [ grin]

newbie Brown is good! I read that brown is old blood, red is new blood. And it's very common to have some spotting around the time your first period would be. Hold out hope! No way to know until you get either your period or a BFP. But I'm feeling v hopeful for you!!

I'm now officially late, and still haven't felt like a period is coming aside from a bit of v mild cramping this morning. Tested on first pee and got a BFN. Will go to superdrug today and get another cheapie for tomorrow morning as long as my period doesn't show today, fingers crossed.

Treaclepie19 · 20/02/2014 15:05

Oh no zermatt
Good luck for March! :)

Zermatt · 20/02/2014 14:34

I'm out, AF is here, 2 days early, even shorter cycle than last month, prior to ttc I always had 29 or even 30 day cycles so not sure what's on with that. Is an 11 day luteal period a bit too short or generally considered ok?

Anyhoo, off to the march bus, will check in too see how rest of you do, wish you all loads luck xxx

Treaclepie19 · 20/02/2014 13:55

Sorry to hear that missmrs :(

Thanks everyone! Yeah he said give it a week and test again. If still nothing in a few weeks come back.

Been to see my pregnant friend and friend with a 5 month old today. Torture when I'm in limbo lol.

toots123 · 20/02/2014 12:28

mama31 · 20/02/2014 12:17

Sazzle I know! The 2ww is awful but I will be ok once I get to the wkend as have some nice plans to keep me busy! Date with DH on Fri then he's off sat so we will have a nice day together to keep my mind off things! But once it hits Sunday I'll be 7dpo! And I just know ill turn crazy! I am pre empting that my first poas will be on Sunday! I know I have no willpower and that Sunday is too early....but I think it will happen.....

sazzlehopes · 20/02/2014 11:24

Newbie i don't think you can do anything except knicker watch. Grin If it stays brown and spotting only it is a more positive sign so like the others say wait it out til the weekend and then test. FX for you!

Oh missmrs, sorry to here that. Heaps of luck for a successful March.

Mama! Eeep the 2ww. Let's try and make it go as quickly and as fun as possible! I feel for you - I hate waiting!! x

KittyVonCatsington · 20/02/2014 10:57

Newbie784 · 20/02/2014 10:48

Sorry to hear that missmrs

EnglishGirlAbroad · 20/02/2014 10:47

Newbie, is it possible you ov'd later and this is implantation? Implantation is usually brown. When i had it with the bfp i mc it was brown, only really when i wiped and lasted 2 days. I got the bfp 3 days later. Maybe leave it til the weekend then use the frer.

missmrsmummy · 20/02/2014 10:44

AF is unmistakeably here! Good job I didn't hold my breath overnight!
