Sorry, bad typing in my post - must do better!!

Sexonlegs · 12/08/2006 22:13

Oh Coggy, I am so sorry. I really thought that this was your month, and I have been desperate to get on here and check you out. As you say though, there are positives which is always good.
Also, Wannabe and MrsMcJnr, sorry to hear af's are here for you too.
How is everyone else?
Hi Pendulum, CD22 isn't it? Nothing really to report from me. I do have incredibly sore boobs though, but I had this last month and af came. Also, a tiny bit of spotting - the merest dot, and no pain. Only bd'd three times, which is appaling, but just the way it was, so will be bowled over it is a bfp. I am not sue until the 22nd as have a 30 day cylce. When are you due?
Need to head, as my Dad wants to use his PC! It is so difficult being here and trying to check mn!!
Love to everyone. See you tomorrow.xx

pendulum · 12/08/2006 19:58

Sorry coggy and mrsmac. Hope you're both tucking into a nice glass of vino right now.

Expect I will see you on the september thread!

SOL- how are you doing cycle buddy? Any 'feelings' one way or the other?

ccpink · 12/08/2006 13:50

Babymad - I agree they will get you to go for blood tests on day 3 and 21. Have to do that for three months before they refer. So long as you have regular af!

MrsMcJnr · 12/08/2006 11:48

Hello ladies, just logged on to check up on you Coggy, sorry that AF arived but as you say, excellent news that the post-ov period was longer this cycle. AF has arrived with me too so I am off to Positive September too so I'll see you there. Good luck all of you with a chance this month, I will come back and check and hope not to see too many of you over there. Bye and baby dust to all.

coggy · 12/08/2006 10:20

wannaBe ...looks like your email worked a treat!! Well done!

How weird that we were both thinking about testing on Friday and now both have AF together this am!!!
I feel amazingly positive and normal!!!

I think it's because AF came before I tested...it depresses me to see "Not Pregnant" written in black and white....I've only used the digital hpts a few times and it alwaya makes me feel bad!!!!! The other ones never did!!!!

Natty....if I go to the clinic and have a hcg jab I guess it won't be worth using the monitor this month either will it?
I will use it soon!!!!!!!!!
I'll check about that...but the jab'll induce ov so no need for the monitor!!!
Next month then.....!!!

wannaBe1974 · 12/08/2006 10:00

hiya all

Coggy (((hugs))) sorry to hear about af. That does mean though that we're now cycle buddies as my af turned up in full swing this morning also. Not that disappointed either, as given the spotting etc I had figured it was on its way anyway and given dh's results I now it's highly unlikely that I will fall pg.

Babymad I went to gp after a year of trying, usually what they do is do a day 21 and a day 3 blood test to see if you are ovulating, and they check the man as well to check that his count is normal.

Well I had an email back from that company last night saying they've had problems with their phones or something as they've moved premises and bt had screwed up or something (how easy it is to blame someone else), but apologising profucely and saying I would hear from them by monday afternoon at the latest re the status of my order, and that if there is any problem I could have a full refund. Hmm the power of threatening to close a site down obviously works, lol.

Well have ILs coming this weekend so won't be on here, but happy bd to all xx

Natty1806 · 12/08/2006 09:38

Oh coggy sweetie i really did have a good feeling about you.

Good news is like you say you went an extra day PO which is a good thing, you will go and see your consultant (i will drag you there if i have too) and you can start to use your CBFM so don't forget to turn it on tomorrow.

have lovely weekend and have a bottle or two of wine you deserve it hun.

Take care

natty x

mimi1uk · 12/08/2006 09:03

coggy! big hug to you xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

coggy · 12/08/2006 08:50

The exctiment's over!!
AF has started this morning...but I feel fine...not sad...not disappointed...fine!

I guess like wannaBe said...when you've been trying for such a long time you just accept it and, although I have really enjoyed the last couple of days and the vague possibility of a bfp, it would have been a mini-miracle with such a short lp. I've had over 70 AFs and BFNs since ttc....so it's just normal!!!!!

Just realised this is beginning to sound like a fairwell speech!!!
(It's not!!)

The really good news is that my lp has gone up by one day...which to me is very exciting!!!
And I will DEF get that long overdue appointment with my consultant (at last!!)
Trust AF to come at the weekend so I can't phone straight away!!!!!

At the risk of this post sounding even more like a farewell speech (which it truly, definitely isn't!!!) I just want to say how fab everyone on here has been....it so fantastic to go through the ups and downs with people who are doing it, and obssessing over it, too!! Wouldn't get so much detailed knowledge and support in RL.
You make me laugh, cry (?!) and blush at some of the TMI bits on here!!
And I consider some of you very good friends....even tho my DH says it's sad talking to "Vitual People"!!!!!!!!

Right...I'm off back to bed....it is Saturday after all!!!!!!

WantAbabyNOW · 12/08/2006 01:34

Wow.. what busy little bees we have been on mn!

I am most i pressed with your email to that crap company wannabe. If this helps that is not the website I saw them available on though... I saw them on www.marilynglenville.com/supplements/fertility_plus_women_men.htm

I have no idea how to do links... sorry. when in doubt, cut and paste.

Hope you are all starting to cheer up. I have taken my first whole metformin tablet without regurgitating it last night. Hooray for me! Am not planning on going too far from the bathroom though as sure will need it at some point!

Ahhh, the stress of ttc. I am obsessed like so many of us are. My house looks like a cyclone has come through it, and still I sit here tapping the little keys on my keyboard. I so have my priorities right!!!

Am supposed to go to THAT baby shower today. My mum is going so maybe I can get out of it.

Hope everyone is feeling a lot better. If feeling down try to imagine what sperm that is odd shaped looks like. Also picture them swimming around chasing their tails. These images in my head are continually making me laugh this weekend.

Oh btw... baby comp......looks so cool but so expensive! Google it if anyone is interested.

Babymad4num3 · 12/08/2006 00:25

Has anyone been to their GP after TTC over 1yr, if so what did they say as i will be going GP on monday about the TTC thing (if BFN)! What kind of test do they do? And what do they ask or tell you?

coggy · 11/08/2006 21:38

Natty...good thinking...I did wonder about any that we didn't know if something had happened....

wannaBe...I've seen Pifflesomething or another somewhere today I'm sure.

Natty1806 · 11/08/2006 19:01

ccpink - you on the right step and yeah it may take a while to get seen etc but at least you have been reffered and something is being done. We will all get there in the end some of us at the begining of the journey some in the middle and some hopefully at the end but the way i see it is that i have got to meet some lovely people who know how i feel and am sure i will meet many more in the months to come.

Natty1806 · 11/08/2006 18:59

Wannabe she has changed her name to PrifflePsomething can't remember but if you go back and look you will see who i mean.

Natty1806 · 11/08/2006 18:58

coggy - well i thought it was best they post about themselves just in case i post something incorrect about someone and upset them.

wannaBe1974 · 11/08/2006 18:57

I was just wondering - has anyone heard from Piffle? I just had a look at the antinatal threads to see how she's doing and she hasn't posted there for a while so am hoping she's ok? I don't want to put a message on the boards in case she isn't and doesn't want to post or anything.

ccpink · 11/08/2006 18:43

Hi - I'm on day 50 today! After taking the hormone to start them again they were ok for a few months and then a bit hit and miss. I've had loads of blood tests, which were all normal - whatever that is?! Lately he wanted me to have blood tests on day 3 and 21, I did this, but because I'm now on day 50 we've given up on that!GP said gyn'st would give me hormone again to start period, then clomid.
I'm also trying reflexology but have only had two sessions so far - expensive though

coggy · 11/08/2006 18:41

I see what you've done Natty - good idea...get them to do the hard work!!!!

coggy · 11/08/2006 18:39

Flippin' heck....jist went to the 'conception' page!!!

You've been busy Natty and Trace!!!!!

Going to go and have a read.

Natty1806 · 11/08/2006 18:37

Sorry just re ready your first message - says you have irregular periods, has you gp run blood tests for you?

coggy · 11/08/2006 18:36

You go wannaBe!!!

That email sounds spot on.
It's worth contacting the police...even if they can't/don't do anything they'll still log the complaint and then can refer to it if anyone contacts them about the same compnay.
X

Natty1806 · 11/08/2006 18:35

Thanks, but remember some people do get seen quicker than this, i am from oxfordshire and our clinic covers lots of areas. Do you not have periods at all? When my DP got tested the doctors just gave him a pot a and told him what to do etc, then we dropped it off at the hospital and we had the results within 7-10 days so it does not take long for that to take place. Maybe go back to your gp and see if he knows anything about waiting times etc and see if he can organise the sperm test for you.

I did also have about 7 accupunture sessions to take my mind off it in the middle but gave up as i could no longer afford it as i wanted to join the gym and get fit. In the time i have these sessions i did have two shorest cycles - 35 days and 42 days. Not sure if it was from this or just my body trying to work properly but we will see how long it takes this cycle as i have not had any sessions.

sorry i seem to have rambled but stay on the positive threads because we are a nice bunch and can cheer each other up when we are feeling down.

x

ccpink · 11/08/2006 18:25

Jesus! 4 months, think I was being a bit optomistic in my head! Plus, my dh will have to get tested first as well. I'll be 6 months then. Best to try and forget about it for now I suppose - if that's possible!! Thanks for your advice. I hope it works out for you

Natty1806 · 11/08/2006 18:13

From the letter from my gp going off it took 3 weeks then the hospital contacted me to double check i had, had all the relevant tests done and to fill in a questionnaire. It then took another 7 weeks to get the appointment through then the appointment was 6 weeks after that so in total 16 weeks, i was stressing big time and was thinking about going private but could not really afford it.
