Angsthase · 15/08/2006 08:59

No symptoms to speak of, but they could be masked by my cold!

Pendulum - LOL at your DH, just the kind of number my DH might pull, especially if he were bored!!

I'm due Fri/Sat, so if it doesn't arrive, not going to test until Sunday or Monday if I can hold out

Here's hoping for some good news for at least one of us xx

Sexonlegs · 14/08/2006 18:42

Oh Pendulum, pmsl about your dh potentially peeing on the hpt! Hilarious!
My boobs are still well sore, but I have some spotting and I am pretty sure af on its way. Not due until the 22nd, but I always get days of pre af shite!

Hope everyone elee is ok here.

HTH xxxxxxx

pendulum · 14/08/2006 17:24

Hi there. SOL, Angsthase, have my finders crossed for you both. You asked about symptoms etc... have a bit of cramping on and off and the old boobs are beginning to get sore... but could easily be heralding arrival of AF.

Remember from my last pregnancy that I suspected before taking the test: had that metal mouth thing and also felt really light-headed. Don't feel like that so far this month, although I reckon I have at least a week of my cycle to go.

I bought two HPTs in Tesco today but AM NOT GOING TO USE THEM until CD 33 ( 1 week today.) Think I will have to give them to DH to hide- although I can't trust him not to wee on them out of interest, I keep catching him with my basal thermometer in his mouth!

coggy · 14/08/2006 16:15

I wouldn't muck around with it Tili.....unless you need it for something specific like a short luteal phase, then I would suggest going to a qualified herbalist.

Accupunture/reflexology might get your cycle more regular.
HTH.

Tili · 14/08/2006 15:18

afternoon all!
I wondered has anyone here ever tried or knows anything about agnus castus?
I have read that it is great for helping to kick start af and to help get a fairly regular cycle but have also heard that sometimes it can stop ov.
So im really confused.Wanted to give it a try but i only want af so can ov and etc if there is no chance of oving whilst taking it i will live without af for a few more months i think

coggy · 14/08/2006 14:54

You have to keep the name SOL.....I am still traumatised everytime Hopecat comes on as another name!!!!!

However......I do rather like the alternative!!!!!
LOL at you SOH!!!!!!

MrsMcJnr · 14/08/2006 14:18

Sorry just me trying to multi task and not doing any of it well sorry to both SOL and SOH - the alternative names made me laugh though

Sexonlegs · 14/08/2006 14:13

SOH, pmsl at the choice of name change for me! I do like sexonlegs I have to say, but then again....!
I also wondered about "sexinthewoods"!!

ShowOfHands · 14/08/2006 14:05

Icky sticky it is then!

SOL don't change your name, I like it! Unless you fancy changing it to 'orangebacardibreezersaremyconceptionaidofchoice'.

Bit of a mouthful though and I really wouldn't want to admit to that every time I posted!

xx

Sexonlegs · 14/08/2006 13:58

MrsMcJ, it was SOH that introduced icky sticky - it is confusing though isn't SOH and SOL!
I wonder if I should change my name?

MrsMcJnr · 14/08/2006 13:26

SOL - your thread made me laugh so much - icky sticky it is then! Superb .

Sexonlegs · 14/08/2006 12:46

Oh SOH, how hilarious was that about no boyfiend/no womb etc! Really cheered me up!
Didn't watch Scrubs, but sounded very apt!
Hope you are ok. xx

Angsthase · 14/08/2006 12:41

LOL at "don't even have a boyfriend/sex/a womb" SOH - it's so bloody easy for some people isn't it.
Really glad one of my RL friends got me onto MN, otherwise I would still think I was the only baren woman in London! At least here you can have a rant w/o people thinking you've lost the plot

ShowOfHands · 14/08/2006 12:23

Hello to the last few hangers-on! Just dropping in to see who's left...

Sexonlegs, got everything crossed for you, hope it's not a repeat of last month. I know how demoralising it is. The only bit of ttc I seem to really enjoy now is the bit between the end of af and the start of ewcm. There's no pressure, no two week wait, all of your hopes are still intact, no cramps, no af, sex just for the fun of it and no bloody testing. Pendulum, ditto, best of luck to you, I'll keep dropping in to see how you're doing.

I'm on CD2 and in residence over on the September thread. AF in full swing so I'm at work and surreptitiously sneaking chocolate digestives out of my bag when nobody is looking. On the downside, somebody is playing twangy country music and I can't work out where it is coming from and yet another person rocked up to work today and declared 'ooh I'm pregnant and I don't even have a boyfriend/sex/a womb'. Sorry to be so flippant, but everybody around me seems to be falling pregnant by just looking at the opposite sex.

Anybody see Scrubs yesterday? Turq and Carla are trying for a baby and he was complaining about her discussions of 'cervical fluid' and their failure to sexually excite him. Elliott turned round and said 'cervical fluid? From now on we shall refer to it as icky sticky'. Cut to Carla sitting in bed surrounded by charts and thermometers and Turq gazing on in confusion. Very apt methinks.

Oh and DH announced this morning that he has been mulling it over and he'd like four children. Great (insert sarcastic tone here).

Best of luck to you both!!!

Sexonlegs · 14/08/2006 11:59

Hi all, and welcome back Angsthase. Sorry about the cold - bummer!
CD24 today, and I have been having light bleeding - sorry TMI, so once again, I think it is Game Over for this month. This is exactly what happened last month. I am getting really peed off with it all now!! Hey ho. Have you had any symptoms Angsthase? Pendulum, what about you?
Need to head, as at work, and for once, am really busy!!! Love to all. xx

coggy · 14/08/2006 11:26

I'm glad you got your flight okay.
LOL at your "Are we nearly there yet?" cry!!!

I've shouted that alot lately!!!!

Angsthase · 14/08/2006 11:05

Hi Girls,

Back from a w/e in Sunny (not) Cologne. Didn't have any problems getting my flights which was a nice surprise.

Come back with a stinking cold, though, so that sucks.

Been trying to catch up with you all. Coogy and wannabe , but we just have to see this whole TTC process as a journey and we're just not sure when we'll reach our destination . - But often want to shout "ARE WE THERE YET???"

Been TTC since Oct 2004. DH only here for 1/2 of OV opps. One m/c in May this year. Would like to be pg before I turn 40 next June.

CD24, so AF due Friday / Sat. As normally 28/29 days. Pendulum and SOL - any updates / symptoms. Nothing to report here.

Hoping we see some BFP's before the months out. xx

Babymad4num3 · 13/08/2006 20:48

pendulum · 13/08/2006 19:55

Muminamini is on the September thread- she has some exciting news....!

Have lost track of who else is still a possible for August... Tili? tryingfortwo?

Sexonlegs · 13/08/2006 17:18

Hi all, I did start typing on here earlier about blood-streaked cm - sorry I know, TMI, and my bloody dad walked in so had to shut down v quickly!
So, how is everyone?
Pendulum, loved the typing!
Has anyone seen angsthase or muminamini anywhere?
Not much to report here. Still have sore boobs, and have had a bit of spotting. I got all this last month, so am sure af is on her way. Bitch!!!
Anyway, need to run. See ya later. xx

pendulum · 13/08/2006 08:28

cypendulumcle ????

don't know what happened there!!

pendulum · 13/08/2006 08:27

SOL- make sure you shut the window down properly after MNetting- your dad might get a shock to have a thread about CM pop up on his screen!

I'm on CD24 and have had two raised temps, today and yesterday, which I think should mean I ov'd around CD 22 (if I get my third high temp tomorrow.) Not sure when I am due cos since quitting pill my cycles have been 37, 33, and 25 days- prob averages out around 32, which used to be my standard cypendulumcle length. So we may well be testin on about the same day if no intervening AF!

Babymad4num3 · 12/08/2006 23:47

I wish you all loads and loads of luck, i'm off to pos september CD1 today after a cd26, i'll be having a good cry tomorrow i thought i might just have done it this month but again it wasn't ment to be so

Good luck!!!
