Hi! I'm feeling lucky this month after dtd lots and at the right time! I'm 33 and been ttc #1 since Dec 2012! I need some news!

Victoria I feel exactly the same as you!! I've hit the 'there must be more to life' brick wall! I also go to work come back eat dinner shower and sleep 5 days a week and no energy at a weekend to do much of anything. It doesn't help that I don't love my job! It feels pointless I am making no difference to anyones lives! If I disappeared I don't think anyone would notice! Dramatic but you get my point! The lady I work with has two children and is always showing me pictures and telling me stories of what she and the kids have done. She is making memories - that's what I want to do!!

victoria401 · 17/02/2014 15:28

Aww how lovely :-) it wasnt romantic for us! We have been together 8 years, married 6. I just kinda told hubby I'm having my implant out and I'd like a baby please! I guess my clock was ticking! I won him over eventually as he said he likes our life as it is. I said there needed to be more to my life than going to work and coming home, then I'd watch tv he'd play computer games. I said imagine how fun life would be playing on weekends, trips to the zoo and the park, sandcastles and ball pits! My life consists of work and salsa dancing. Its not enough. I don't have anything to talk about to my mum, she tells me all about my sisters kids etc and I say I went to work and I came home, every day, this is what I do. I'm ready for my world to be turned upsidedown with a baby, I need something else!

Fingers crossed then that this is THE month all done naturally rather than having to undergo tests which can be stressfull I imagine.
I'm 24 and my fiancé is 27 we are both June birthdays. We only made the decision to try for a child on 6th February!! Very precise I know but I had just finished my period, it's been something I've wanted to do for about a year and half, we have been together 5.5 years and it just felt like the right moment in time, everything seemed to fall into place. We didn't need words just emotions and nature took over. A very romantic moment :)

Hi Emily, still got the weird trapped windy discomfort since 6.30am! But don't feel the need to "release" any! I'm 6 dpo now so could technically be implantation. We were due to start fertility tests soon so DH hoping I am pg this month so he doesn't have to use his little sterile pot, hahaha! He went on the 3wk waiting list for a SA last Wed. Dr thinks there is no point testing me as I have regular cycles and seem to ovulate every month. I'm having a hormone profile done this Wed anyway.

How old are you guys? Im 33 (34 in April) and DH is 36 in May. Ttc #1 since Dec 2012.

Hi Victoria how's u? Sorry to hear about your painful belly I had period style cramps yesterday enough to make me spend all day on the sofa. Which is most unlike me I only get cramps when on day one or two of my period. I don't seem to have them today though just feel very aware of that area like any twinges etc but it's probably my mind playing tricks on me! 5dpo I wish the days would hurry up so I can do a test!!

Hazelbrowneyes · 17/02/2014 11:02

I seem to have cramps for most of my cycle which is a bit annoying. They move as well - sometimes on the left, sometimes on the right, sometimes sharp, sometimes a dull ache. Ho hum.

PotentiallyLethalMarshmallow · 17/02/2014 11:02

TTC number 3. My DH was having health problems, so we postponed TTC for a few years, but now I am worrying that I am too old. My pain is internal, and deep. Hoping it is some helpful hormone surge!

victoria401 · 17/02/2014 08:04

Woke up this morning with a really hurty tummy :-( feels like I'm full of air and its stuck in various places! Sorry tmi!

OP posts:
victoria401 · 16/02/2014 22:23

Do you mean internally or externally if you get my meaning? I seem to get lower back pain when I'm ovulating and I have it now actually. Hope it does mean implantation too! What's your story?

OP posts:
PotentiallyLethalMarshmallow · 16/02/2014 22:13

Do any of you know, is it a good sign to have a pain deep in the lower back/ upper bum area? I read one old thread which said that is a good sign of hormones changing around the time of implantation, but then another said this pain means endometriosis

victoria401 · 16/02/2014 19:52

Tell me about it. My mum had the 2 of us no issues. My sister had "an accident" from a missed pill! My best friend had a BFP on their 1st month ttc and had 2 more children with a few months of trying. Both my family and DH's family appear to be super fertile. We both have loads of aunts and uncles and loads of cousins. Most of our cousins have between 1 and 3 kids too. My sister has 2, both "accidents" in her words (hope she be never tells them that!).

Thanks Emily!
Hi Victoria, It's taken me a lot of research to learn all this info, 28 and I never knew even half of what I should do. I was chatting to my DH saying that there's a lot more they should teach you in secondary school when they go through some of this. Even my mum doesn't know, she was ridiculously fertile and got pregnant easily. Completely oblivious that there is actually only a relatively small window on conception. Just shrugged and said she never thought about it!

victoria401 · 16/02/2014 18:59

Welcome rockstar! I've been ttc #1 for 14 months, I need a BFP this time! Had the implant before so have had that time to really get to know my cycles. Isn't it complicated being a woman isn't it?!

OP posts:
EmilyPinkOrBlue · 16/02/2014 18:55

best of luck rockstar!! we are all in it together. post back any news :)

rockstars12 · 16/02/2014 18:52

BFP hopefully 21st - 25th Feb, TTC#1 cycle 2. Mine is normally 24-27 days varying each month. Last month ov on day 12, this month day 14 so I expect to have a slightly longer cycle, unless my luteal phase is short instead.
Don't think it will be a positive for me this month, I did everything right in terms of opk and temping, but my other half wasn't really up for dtd, so didn't do enough around the right time. Very frustrating!

EmilyPinkOrBlue · 16/02/2014 18:44

This is my first cycle trying:) i have felt broody for a baby for about year and a half but didn't feel quite ready until now. its amazing how already i somehow feel attached to what could be in my tummy so to speak! now i know why pregnant women are always stroking their bellies! how long have you been trying?

victoria401 · 16/02/2014 17:28

I am hoping so too Emily, been waiting too long. How long you been ttc?

OP posts:
EmilyPinkOrBlue · 16/02/2014 16:24

Hi Victoria I'm only dpo4 and I feel really crampy and grouchy because I'm crampy - I never get this unless on period so I am feeling hopefull this is something different hopefully baby dust magic going on. Been feeling quite sick as well and having really bad heartburn when I never normally have that issue after eating however much I eat!

victoria401 · 16/02/2014 16:14

Im now getting all sorts of cramps, central too! Its slightly early for implantation though yes? That's 6-11 dpo and I'm prob 5dpo. Unless I ovd cd13 then I would be 6days.... I can't get too hopeful tho!

PotentiallyLethalMarshmallow · 16/02/2014 13:52

Hello, all. Victoria, my af is also due 25-28 Feb. I, too, had side stitch pain cd 14/15 and now it is back!

victoria401 · 16/02/2014 13:09

Ok not feeling normal any more! Just had ewcm and have side stitch! This is not normal for me as I'm on cd18 and I've already had all this at cd13/14! What's going on?!

OP posts:
victoria401 · 16/02/2014 09:47

5dpo and feel perfectly normal. First month I've tried cutting down on booze, not had a drop for 6 days (long for me!). Hubby asked how I was getting on "quitting" as I love my almost daily small glass of wine :-). I said great, not even craving it! He was hoping being "off booze" was a 'sign' I was preg. Bless him, I love him so much :-) x x x

RhiBee29 · 14/02/2014 20:28

Can I tag along? Bfp due 24th I think, had +opk cd16 and usually have a 30day cycle although last month was 26. Following SMEP this month and its our "one forluck" tonight, good timing with it being Valentines!

victoria401 · 14/02/2014 19:42

Is chilled possible? People keep saying if you're stressed it won't happen. But I can't stop the way I feel! No deep breathing is going to stop me thinking about it or feeling anxious. I've been on a "mood management" course and had reflexology, I'm just a stressy person. "if you relax and stop thinking about it, it will happen". How???

OP posts:
Bearsandtoys · 14/02/2014 19:31

I did go insane. And I think I had a chemical pregnancy because I had a faint line but then came on my period :(

This time I'm being chilled :)
