On recommendations I emailed the reflexologist today she sounds really positive but think I may miss ovulation this month ... Hopefully I won't need it next month Wink I'd like a November baby!!
Looking forward to half term and relaxing a bit!!

Hibou7688 · 11/02/2014 19:34

As expected... bfn. This ttc lark is starting to stress me out and only been off the pill since August. How those of you cope that have been trying for 12 months+ is beyond me!!

toots123 · 11/02/2014 19:25

Haha mama! I am addict too! Might do one tomorrow! Just had some brown cm though (sorry tmi!) so hoping that is implantation and in a few days get a bfp!

mama31 · 11/02/2014 19:23

How does anyone resist poas when they have IC's in their house?! I simply can not....ive even poas as soon as they have been delivered....when I haven't even ovulated yet and have poas real soon after ovulation...just depending when I get the delivery! I usually do it just to show myself that I always get an evap line so must not get excited by grey lines when I do poas at the right time....i also do this because I am a crazy poas addict admittedly!

toots123 · 11/02/2014 19:11

Amazon cheapies arrived today... how long can I resist?!?! Someone tell me no!!! (9dpo)

toots123 · 11/02/2014 19:10

Your poor cat barmy!!! Im a crazy cat lady cat lover and would be in bits if our cat got stuck up a tree. Give him extra cuddles then ditch him for dtd ;)

RhiBee29 · 11/02/2014 18:54

hibou test, test, and test again!

Opk less prominent today, will still dtd tonight as trying to follow SMEP.

Anyone got any advice on exercise during tww? I try to go to the gym every other day twice a week and fairly heavy on ab work and spinning, is this ok?

rambini · 11/02/2014 18:44

As predicted AF arrived with a vengeance today. So onwards and upwards. New stats. Rambini ttc #1 cycle #2 BFP due 5th March.
Good luck to all still left on the Feb bus, in the kindest way I hope not to see you on the March bus!
X

Hibou7688 · 11/02/2014 18:40

oh if you insist!! haha

mama31 · 11/02/2014 18:31

Hibou, then yes you should test!!

Hibou7688 · 11/02/2014 18:21

I don't know what dpo I am.. I was trying to use opks, was getting flashing smileys from cd8.. this lasted for 7 days! I ran out of tests before I got a peak! my last cycle was 36 days (yet flashing smileys pretty early at day9). I seem to be all over the place and trying to track it seems impossible at the min!

mama31 · 11/02/2014 18:09

Thanks barmy! I'm hoping so! But being realistic also!!! Awh the poor cat, traumatised I'm sure! Hope you get some dtd in though....the cat will just have to cover his eyes if he's refusing to leave your side! haha!

Hibou, what dpo?? If I ever got to cd32 I'd have tested a thousand times...but that wouldn't happen with my short cycles!

EnglishGirlAbroad · 11/02/2014 18:01

What dpo are you hibou?

Your poor cat Barmy!! Sounds like you've had a interesting few days! Glad he's down and safe! Good luck with DTD tonight, hope the cat gives you a few moment peace!

Hibou7688 · 11/02/2014 17:52

cd32.. do I test, do I test? the answer should be no but I will definately do it anyways!

barmybunting · 11/02/2014 17:44

The reflexologist sounds interesting mama. I really hope she is onto something with her November baby thoughts for you Smile !

After thinking ov might be earlier this cycle, I haven't used another opk because, of all things, my cat got himself stuck 70ft up a tree yesterday and spent at least 30 odd hours stuck up there whilst we got the fire service, rspca and a tree surgeon to attempt to get him down! Thankfully the tree surgeon got him down this morning. Thank goodness as we've had snow here today, and he spent the night hanging onto the top branches at about 80ft, wailing as he swung about in the wind whilst we tried to coax him down in the middle of the woods at 3am. It's been an interesting few days! I'm hoping ov is still lurking so we can actually dtd instead of tapdancing around trees tonight! That's if we can get the cat off us, he has been glued to me since he was rescued!

We'll get you through the next 7 days,Pinkie! Grin

KittyVonCatsington · 11/02/2014 17:18

Hi MrsE! WRT It's supposed to help hormonal balance and thyroid being a hormone surely it's got to help and if not no harm done My reflexologist said that there should be nothing wrong with having Reflexology after you ovulate, but she said reflexologists don't often advise it as if something happened, the reflexology session could appear to be to blame. Does that make sense? I think you'll be fine. It's like saying a hot bath could prevent implantation. Probably just one of those conceptions myths designed to give us an even harder time!

Pinkie2103 · 11/02/2014 15:23

Hello!

Am only 7dpo so have another week (at least) to wait.....boo!

I MC last month at 5 weeks 5 days after TTC#2 Cycle 1 but have put a lot of pressure on myself to get that BFP and it's only Cycle 2. We did SMEP and I know I ovulated so my fingers and toes are crossed.

Good luck to everyone testing soon and sorry to everyone else who hasn't had their positive this month

SnowBells · 11/02/2014 14:50

I am on the dreaded 2ww. Fact is, I don't know when and if I ovulated. App on phone says OV was scheduled for 2 February. CBFM only registered highs (first month use as had to reset). Unfortunately, last time we DTD was Wednesday last week (5 Feb). Had cramping since Wednesday though, and I still get short, stabbing pain now. So don't know if we missed the boat... Sad

EnglishGirlAbroad · 11/02/2014 14:49

Wow, sounds good Mama. I find it so fascinating that they can tell so much from your feet!! Hope she's onto something for you. And glad that if nothing else you've found it relaxes you! Smile

mama31 · 11/02/2014 14:36

Mrsextra my lady did mention thyroid so def worth a go!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 11/02/2014 14:09

I've Got a session booked on Thursday morning. My af is due 18th and I know a few of you have opted for going earlier in the month, but tbh I dont hold out much hope this month after awful bloods so can't see it doing any harm, the other side of ov that is even if I did ov which is unlikely I think. It's supposed to help hormonal balance and thyroid being a hormone surely it's got to help and if not no harm done.

mama31 · 11/02/2014 13:58

English she said lots of things that were true, she was able to identify from the tension in parts of my foot that I have hayfever, some sinus issues, niggles in shoulders/part of back. She said I shouldn't need her for too long....but that's just getting my hopes up really!!!! and she talked about me having a November baby! Which would indicate me getting a bfp this cycle....we will see...I try not to read too much in to it to avoid disappointment!

It was interesting and she said a lot of things that made me feel intrigued to go back for sure! And she was very nice, chatty and explained every single thing she did....alot of knowledge for sure! I just felt good afterwards and could feel something happening not sure what exactly but just felt something! It's all a bit bizarre really! Hope it works though!!!

EnglishGirlAbroad · 11/02/2014 13:26

Glad you enjoyed the reflexology Mama! Did she mention anything while she was doing it? I'm def going to try if this cycle isn't successful.
MrsExtra, the ankle area relates to the ovaries and Fallopian tubes as far as I'm aware.
6dpo here and no symptoms except I'm really hot! Had this with my last BFP so fx!!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 11/02/2014 13:18

Thanks mama I remember how relaxing it is, i used to feel really floaty afterwards! And then fall asleep when I got home. So planning an afternoon apt so falling asleep is possible. Wink only thing holding me back is a large corn that's quite unsightly, but won't bugger off Blush
