Catch I never drank 3 litres of water after EC. Was I supposed to?
Too late now, didn't seem to make any difference.

You're all reading my mind! When did this become my life? I'm 43 so you can all assume that I REALLY wish I'd tried earlier Hmm. Truth is the maternal instinct didn't hit until I was on my way to 39 (the trigger was my Dad'd death, I think, looking back).

I just left working thinking that'd I wouldn't care if I never saw any of them again and they are (mainly) nice people. I have nothing left to talk about as all I can think of is this stuff and no one wants to hear that I am STILL waiting for AF (even you lot, by now Wink). They must think I have become so dull and miserable. Cause I have. Wish I could go back to 2009 when the TTC idea was just a bit of a laugh and secondary to enjoying my life.

Jeez, even I find me dull.

Bad - good to hear you're 'feeling it'!

God I wish I could have a bath, or a hot water bottle, or a bath followed by a hot waterbottle - brrr chilly

Does anyone know how long are you supposed to drink 3 litres of water for after EC?

vallinnapod · 04/02/2014 16:34

Me too Sad I'm jealous of my first cycle IVF self. I genuinely thought it was easy Sad

When it works, it makes it all worth while and you'd go through it a million fold. When it doesn't.....

Onelittlebugbear · 04/02/2014 16:02

Even in the unlikely event this works I'm not sure I will ever be the same person I was before.
If it doesn't work I definitely won't be.

Ha ha bad, I'm jealous of my previous self too! Who knew that was possible?!

starsandmoonandback · 04/02/2014 15:42

Bugs, it could very well be implantation GrinGrin

One, I'm sure it won't make any difference hun. I remember worrying about weeing after ET in case it fell out, but someone described the embie as being like a seed and the uterus being the jam pot! It'll be nicely protected in there I think. X

Val, I feel similar that I wish I'd tried for babies younger, but I didn't meet dh until I was 32 and I too wouldn't have wanted the others to have fathered my children!

Bad, go you!

Badhairday76 · 04/02/2014 15:21

I'm jealous of my previous self!

time2deal · 04/02/2014 15:11

Sounds good to me buggerlugs :) . I had a lot of cramps from 3DpET, for about 3-4 days. And backache. Disconcerting though isn't it! Feels just like AF

vallinnapod · 04/02/2014 14:49

LOL bad - no slapping just a lot of Envy from me Grin

Badhairday76 · 04/02/2014 14:33

Van - I got pregnant with my DS purely by accident (ducks to avoid being slapped by all of the egg buddies!) I was on the pill - Cerazette - and didn't take it one night because I slept at my new boyfriend's house. It truly was the shock of my life and I was in floods of tears at the doctor's surgery which feels very ironic now. I was 35 as well, so it does happen! I used to think that people must have secretly got themselves pregnant on purpose, but sometimes miracles happen! I had taken no folic acid, was doing loads of Bikram yoga and get drunk 3 times before I found out at 8 weeks. I had a scan within a week of finding out and saw a heartbeat so avoided all the terrible angst I have now. Those were the days. Sigh.

Bugs - I've also been very crampy and I think the Cyclogest makes it worse. I can't stop eating again today, even though I feel a bit yucky. So who is next to test? I am still trying to hold out until the weekendxxx

Turquoisetamborine · 04/02/2014 14:19

Thebuggerlugs, hope your cramps are a sign of pregnancy. I kept feeling like my period was coming on when preg with my son.

Onelittlebugbear · 04/02/2014 13:41

The girls on 16 and pregnant are struggling with one child though, having a second one does not seems Good Plan.

Bug I have no idea - I hope so though!

Also hoping that falling backwards off the bed this morning (thanks to ds play fighting) hasn't upset my embies!

Can I point out I only had 2 boyfriends in those years...and only had sex with one of them...made myself sound a little slutty Wink

vallinnapod · 04/02/2014 13:36

I know...most of my year and school had had kids by 18 at the latest. I thought they were all a little stupid judgy pants but they clearly had the right idea.

That said, I am eternally grateful my boyfriends from those years are not the father/s of my child/ren!

Onelittlebugbear · 04/02/2014 13:10

Yeah and nearly all of them off 16 and pregnant have had MORE babies since the show.

vallinnapod · 04/02/2014 13:09

I'm watching 16 and Pregnant....and wondering how people can accidentally get knocked up Shock

*provera

vallinnapod · 04/02/2014 12:13

One I had my withdrawal bleed from the IVF then straight on the pill and stimms starting day2 of the withdrawal bleed from the pill.

I found the Maggie Howell CDs good too. I have an IVF specific one and a pregnancy one.

Last prover yesterday so just waiting for a bleed, then on the pill then FET.

Onelittlebugbear · 04/02/2014 12:04

I know! She has to clarify it with 'belly button' each time she says it anyway! Naval would have been ok too. It makes me snigger and then I can't relax, I will try it again though since it cost me £12.

Bugs hope you're relaxing. I should tidy up my house but I'm watching daytime tv. I'm looking forward to bargain hunt. Oh dear.
Also I keep Internet shopping. This is Not Good.
