Grin Bugs! 200+ would get you a 2-3 weeks on a CB digi! Ya see, you can never tell (note One, Cwt and MP).

Res, urgh. I'm bitter as anything lately and this silverton story is annoying! The article says both conceived naturally after 4 cycles of ivf! And the doctor puts it down to 'positive attitude' - Fuc£ right off! We'd all be pregnant at the beginning of this was true. I cannot stand how many people say 'just relax' 'reduce your stress' arghhhh!!! Do they think we started out negative or stressed. No we bloody didn't. We can be negative and stressed now after months, years if trying and losses. Gahhhhhhh! Angry

Bugs. That is fab. How many dpo are you today?

moggle · 12/02/2014 12:23

Rep OTD (hcg) is Saturday which will be 13dp3dt. DH keeps asking me if I have any symptoms but I feel fine! Am trying to harness inner calm (ommm!!) and not think about it but its so hard!!! My AF is due tomorrow but I have heard that the progesterone can delay it, is that true does anyone know? I'm on a fairly high dose of 1200mg cyclogest (3 pessaries) a day. .

Moggle sorry it was all a bit of a palaver yesterday but great to have started stimming!

moggle · 12/02/2014 11:36

I think I'm safe from a SIL announcement for a while, went for dinner at theirs last night and she was poured an enormous glass of wine by my bro. Feel like at least we have this chance, then if this cycle doesn't work it's every man for themselves and I will have to gird myself for news.

First stimjection last night, what a bloody palaver! I have to swap needle tips over and I kept bending the thin one when i tried to pull the cover off it. then stabbed my finger and proceeded to bleed all over my dad's birthday present as I wrapped it... (Luckily the paper was red polka dots...). Took about 15 minutes to get it all done. Nearly forgot I still had to do buserelin as well.

bugs hope you have not melted into a puddle of stress and nerves yet. Only an hour to go xxx

resipsa · 12/02/2014 11:29

I'm still hacked off by Silverton who has, logical, of course, if you're mid-IVF, 'stolen' my baby by announcing her second 'miracle' pregnancy at 43! She's even older than me FFS!

OP posts:
Onelittlebugbear · 12/02/2014 10:56

I'm reconciled to that fact it hasn't worked.
It would be Sod's law though if I stopped taking the progesterone and then I was pregnant and had ruined everything by being a moron!

Will see what the clinic say on Friday as to where we went wrong this time and what we could do differently next time. I think for sure a higher dose of stim.

Also if William and Kate announce a second baby that may also tip me over the edge. I'm not sure quite why! At the moment I'm getting annoyed with that woman from shameless 'pregnant at 50'. Sod off!

resipsa · 12/02/2014 10:34

Bugs - an hour and a half to go...
One - I was a week behind the test (ie it was saying 2-3 when I was 3+) with DD so I think HTPs are unreliable for some in the early days. You might just have to wait and see. Such easy words to type, so awful to live through the wait.
Wish - hope you get the go ahead.
Cwt - you know the drill - some symptoms means nothing and no symptoms means nothing at this satge. When's OTD?

OP posts:
starsandmoonandback · 12/02/2014 10:21

Bugs, are you ok?

Cwatch, remember although we want symptoms, they mean nothing! X

cwtching · 12/02/2014 09:47

Hmm 10dp3dt and no symptoms.

One according to the chart I posted a few days ago, there is enough HCG to detect a pregnancy on 11dp3dt so maybe it's still too early if you are 9dp3dt.

Good luck Bugs thinking of you!

Wish sending hugs. I hope the appointment goes okay.

Onelittlebugbear · 12/02/2014 09:36

Actually I haven't checked today because I dont have a test but yesterday was negative.

Not in any way expecting a bfp at all but then suddenly worried I'd stopped the progesterone too soon! The progesterone makes me feel crap. I feel better without it!

How you getting on bugs? X

I would think a FRER test would pick up by 12dpo One, but, there are some people on google who haven't had a line then and gone on to get one! If you haven't started af yet and stopped progesterone 2 days ago, that may also be a good sign!

Onelittlebugbear · 12/02/2014 09:06

Yes, Friday.
I feel pretty sure a sensitive hpt would pick it up by now.

A first response early response (6 days early one) would show something at 9dp3dt wouldn't it? I stopped the progesterone two days ago then worried I'd stopped too soon!

Good luck bugs x x

Badhairday76 · 12/02/2014 08:01

HeyBugs - good luck today! I have to admit, when I phoned the hospital for the blood count, my heart was in my mouth! I've stopped testing now. I didn't get a full on line though until the weekend, so about 19 days past egg collection. I've def got symptoms now. The main one is feeling ridiculously tired and having a metallic taste in my mouth at night. It's gross. I also feel alternately queasy and starving hungry. I've been eating a lot more than I would usually but have been doing that since I started IVF, to be honest. My boobs are a bit tender, but nothing like as bad as they were when I was pregnant with my DS though. I am only 5 weeks plus 2 days though. I didn't realise I was preggers with my DS though until I was at least 8 weeks (oh blissful ignorance!) but was drinking wine and stuff right up to then so I don't think the symptoms could have been that strong.

I'm a bit fed up with my DP right now. He has said NOTHING since we had the blood test results other than 'well, it's still early days'. He is also being a complete arse and not pulling his weight with our DS at all, even though he knows I feel rough and tired. Bloody men!

WannabeMaryPoppins · 12/02/2014 06:32

Res I knew you would understand. That's why this thread is so goodGrin Grin I think if Kate & William announce their second pregnancy it might just tip me over the edge

WannabeMaryPoppins · 12/02/2014 06:30

One I completely agree with nobeer. & in my clinic they aim for.8 to.12 eggs maximum to avoid over stimulation.

resipsa · 11/02/2014 23:45

MP - in the world of IVF as I've come to know it , it is ENTIRELY logical that A Random's announcement might affect you. Let alone, say, Gwen Stefani's or Kate Silverton's (in my case). This is how we all think Wink
