The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

oh dear... few too many cocktails last night.....!! Cant say i'm looking forward to work!
My cats love a perv! Dh has taken to scouting the room before he gets down to business as they put him off!

Glad last night went well Penguin.
Good luck with the driving lessons ladies Smile Hope you all have a lovely day, think of me, up to my eyeballs in 'flowerpots'!

Tadpole2013 · 08/02/2014 07:30

OMG, sal You had me chocking on my breakfast! Perv dog. Probably wanted to compare you guys with the owners! Grin
Our cat wouldn't be caught dead in the room. Now the dog. That bitch loves herself some people porn!
She has an odd snort-sigh noise after we're done.

Good morning, ladies!

TeaRex · 08/02/2014 07:18

I've got a lesson too this morning, hope yours goes well penguin and I've not got pets at the mo but I couldn't let them watch, freaks me out a bit to much. Hope any hangovers are only minor today :)

Penguin13 · 08/02/2014 00:44

Laughing at pervy pets. Yes, very off-putting!

Slightly concerned I will be hanging for both my driving and yoga lessons tomorrow but a fun night was had by all and I successfully served up 9 edible dinners which I am quite proud of actually.

Having a bit of a wtf cycle with spotting left, right and centre and no idea when, if at all I'm likely to ovulate so may have thought f*ck it and drank more than I should. Tomorrow is another day, chin out, tits up or something like that Smile

Sal1977 · 07/02/2014 23:14

*Shut the dog in the kitchen not shit on him!!

Blimey, I must swear ALOT if my autocorrect is changing shut to shit!!

Sal1977 · 07/02/2014 23:13

We dog sat for our friends. Shit the dog in the kitchen, went upstairs for a bit of the other and halfway through realised the dog was in the bedroom resting his chin on the bed watching us. Fuck me, scared the shit out of me!!! Haha

OttersPocket · 07/02/2014 22:04

amelia have a wee fish slap. Sorry AF has made an unwelcome appearance. Chin up, tits out love.

My cat often stays on the bed when we're having a quick tith. It's most disconcerting! I think she's getting used to her mental owners ways Grin

ameliarose2012 · 07/02/2014 20:41

I'm with you on the pets. We have an awesome rocking chair in the living room that I really want to 'try out', but I just can't bring myself to with the dog in the room!

AF came this morning Sad, but so far has been a bit weird, so I'm not totally convinced (fish-slap please?). Think I'll just have some Cake and Wine xxx

Justonemoretime · 07/02/2014 19:42

Good for you Parsley, although it is a not freaky when pets watch. Just don't make eye contact! Wink Hope tonight goes ok. Brave lady for having a do under the circumstances.

Parsley2506 · 07/02/2014 19:37

Sisters train an hour late, managed to sneak in a quick TITH. The cat watched - that means I'll be preg right? Btw does anyone else find it hugely unnerving/off putting when pets watch?! Dirty perv cat!

Tadpole2013 · 07/02/2014 19:03

Hello newbies! Hoping for a short stay for us all!

Baxter After my mc, my AF symptoms have changed completely. Unfortunately including AF being late for two months in a row for the first time ever. I used to have a clockwork 28 day cycle. The longest last month was 31 days. With all the pg symptoms. So confusing.

Thank you for the laughs, ladies. I am so exhausted after the shag-a-ton that literally, I'm going to bed soon.
My poor flower pot cannot, and I mean refuses, to take anymore planting activities. Shock

Misspositivity · 07/02/2014 18:29

justone your a very naughty TTC'er. Fish slap in your direction. Stand back from the sticks you are going to send yourself mad. Hugs.
parsley that should be grand. We are doing SMEP too but I usually leave out the last day as already have temp rise on FF. Maybe that's what are problem is.

Justonemoretime · 07/02/2014 18:26

Cat just curled up on my lap. Wink

Justonemoretime · 07/02/2014 18:23

Fish slap me please. Poas a week early (bfn), its NEVER going to happen for me, I am SURE of it!!! Also watched sad film and nearly cried. So I almost certainly AM pg. Shock

Parsley2506 · 07/02/2014 17:56

Spurt!! Grin

2nd peak day, would rather TITH as soon as I get home at 7 but we're out for dinner with visiting sis & kids. Hoping later tonight will be ok. Textbook SMEP this month

Misspositivity · 07/02/2014 14:41

sundance sorry about BFN but still a little early and every day past your usual luteal phase is good regardless of outcome.
english enjoy your cocktails and the fannys tomorrow lol

Currently lying in bed waiting for DH to spurt in me whilst DD takes a nap. DH however is in his study writing work emails and keeps shouting "be there in a minute". Day 2 of SMEP after poss opk so I may wait it out.

OttersPocket · 07/02/2014 14:15

English That is vom indeed!! Grin

HollyBen I'm sure one day off SMEP so early in your cycle is fine. I'm in the starter blocks limbering up for TITH. CD5 for me and AF has just stopped. My AF has always only lasted for 2 days, this time it was four, I'm taking this as A Good Sign!

Not sure I want to start SMEPing yet though, usually ov around 15/16 and don't want fatigue to set in before the crucial time!

Baxter I too have been getting really pronounced PMS symptoms post-mc when I never really had them before. It's just another way of making this whole nightmare process even more of a headfuck Angry

HollyBen · 07/02/2014 13:46

Lol at waxing fanny whilst hungover english

HollyBen · 07/02/2014 13:42

Love the image of commuters sporting glow sticks and whistles as they body barge people out of the way Grin

I don't think you ever forget an MC but, in my experience, once you get your BFP and sticky bean you become less fixated on it. I had my first MC then BFP with DD 2 cycles later. When we started ttc#2 I didn't consider I might have another MC, but I did and that quickly brought the first time back.

We failed to get SMEP kicked off last night. Although I was feeling better I was exhausted by bed time. I am consoling myself with the fact I haven't ov'd until cd17/18 last 2 months so plenty of time. I am considering kicking off tonight and doing every other day until positive OPK as per SMEP just a day off? That also gets round DH being away overnight on cd14

EnglishGirlAbroad · 07/02/2014 13:32

Hope it goes well tonight Parsely!! Massive pat on the back for cooking for 9! Sod that!
When people mention me and dh having a baby, i just want to scream; I WAS FUCKING PREGNANT, BUT MY BODY'S AN ARSE AND COULDN'T HOLD IT. Think that might shut people up?!

We're off out with some of dh's work colleagues for dinner tonight so going to indulge in some ah-mazing cocktails whilst I can! Work tomorrow should be fun.....Waxing fanny whilst hanging is not nice! Vom!

sebsmummy1 · 07/02/2014 09:56

Pmsl Penguin. How you are managing to make me laugh at the moment god only knows!!

I'm starting to feel pretty glad I've stumbled across you lot on here too, shame the circumstances are so crap. Maybe one day we will all look back at these times and they won't hurt anymore as we'll be holding chubby bundles of shit-smelling loveliness.

My sister can hardly even remember her miscarriage now and it was only a few years ago. She fell pregnant with her second child 2 weeks after and went full term. Goes to show these mythical post-mc fertile times can happen, just probably not to me lol

I know, right? Luckily my SIL is lovely which makes it simultaneously easier because she's quite tactful and caring and harder cause I feel even more like a selfish bitch when I'm having a 'why not me?'moment. That's compounded by their 3 years ttc followed by successful IVF. Most of h's side of the family doesn't know about my mc as we didn't want to ruin things for SIL and BIL but I have this irrational fear that if I get pg again everyone's going to think we chose to have a baby cause they did. Ludicrous I know.

TeaRex · 07/02/2014 09:42

Sorry for the bfn :(
Love the pedestrian raving, I'm sure I've got a whistle somewhere.... Mumsnet flash mob anyone? Ha.

OttersPocket · 07/02/2014 09:33

What is it with pregnant SIL's at the same stage of upduffedness as us Penguin and Parsley? Like we haven't gone through the mill enough. We will be masters of the grin and bear it approach in no time.
