Anyone get sore boobs immediately after ovulation??

Hello. I had a mmc in Sept at 10 weeks. We've been ttc ever since with no luck.

Since the mc I've had sore boobs every month after ovulation. The pain is to the sides and underneath (almost where the underwire is).

What I really wanted to know is if anyone else gets this and whether it's a sign of a hormonal imbalance?

Thank you!

Me too bump! The pain just radiates up the sides to my armpit! Joy of joys eh!!

Love your name by the way! I hope it's true for us all!

I do I do and it gets worse until AF comes. Currently waiting for AF and they feel so heavy like bricks stuck on my chest and cannot lie on my front, never knew it could get this bad, not been off pill long so forgot what it feels like.

Great thanks. Yes it's so true. The body is a minefield of annoyances!!

No, none at all - quite the opposite. I've researched fertility stuff quite a bit, though, and from what I can gather there don't seem to be any rules. I think if something's unusual for you it's worth checking out, but because our bodies all seem to be so different, it's hard to compare between women.

Hopefully your gyno will be able to shed some light.

toothy if you don't mind me asking, did you have any difficulties conceiving?

With my two pregnancies I didn't get my usual sore boobs after ovulation. It only kicked in towards the time my period was due.

Funny how we're all different. Wishing you the best of luck :-)

Look at all us booby ladies!!

boo us shit isn't it. I assumed I'd get pregnant almost immediately!!! Wrong!

I took b6 this cycle too and I'm also in 2ww but I'm not holding out much hope tbh.

I actually have gone privately to a gyno and I'm getting bloods done for progesterone,so it'll be interesting to see if it seems to be linked.

Fx for you this month!

Hi Luckystar.

I also had a mmc in September. prior to the miscarriage the only time my nipples were sore was the few days before AF. Since the mmc it starts immediately after ovulation which is a bummer as it was the first signal I was pregnant if my nipples were sore more than a few days before af. . I don't know if it is a hormone imbalance. On the last cycle I took vitamin b6 and vitamin b complex and vitamin c. During that cycle my pre af spotting stopped and my luteal phase increased by 2 days. This cycle ovulation was a day earlier again but as I am in 2ww I don't know what my luteal phase will be.

I do.. it;s one of the ways I know i've ovulated that month (I don't every month). No chance of pregnancy for me though so can't link it to that.

claudeekishi · 28/01/2014 12:29

Yes I get sore nipples!

Luckystar1 · 28/01/2014 12:27

Oh I hope it is for you!

It hasn't been for me sadly (although it was my first indication of my mc pregnancy, so if it's not usual it could be a good sign!)

Possibly just another way my body has chosen to let me down! (not at,all feeling sorry for myself!!)

I didn't think it was possible but I started getting sore boobs around 3dpo so I hope this is a good sign! I read a couple of posts from pregnant women that they got sore boobs really early and got their bfp!
