on cd9 :) feeling hopeful this month, anyone joining the feb bus?

anyone used opks? When do i start using these?
I'm in loads of the threads on here but there just hundreds of comments i can't keep up lol so thought i would start a fresh.....

Hi All!

Currently 6dpo so got a little while until I can test....very much looking forward the the weekend so I can hopefully take my mind off it and try to stop symptom spotting!!

I'm still full of cold :(( but I'm ttc 1 this is cycle 3 I guess. But to be honest, I've just been seeing how it goes, this month was my first with using opks properly but they ran out before I got a peak!

hello all just wanted to say Internet cheapies of opks do work for some people I started ttc in June 2013 I got a big cheap opk kit and cheap pregnancy tests. I used 2 opks a day am and pm from around cd 13. I doubted the cheap ones would work but lo and behold I got a positive opk on the 16th i think and it got darker in the afternoon before getting lighter the next day. I got af later that month but did the same opk in July. as o knew I had ovd around 16th last month we dtd from the 15th 5 times over 7 days pretty much every other day including night b4 positive opk. I got pregnant and positive opk on 18th July I got feint positive pregnancy test using Internet cheapies on 31st with af due 1st August. I used a digital on 1st and im sitting here 30 weeks today with baby kicking me. so I just wanted to say opking can work for some and dtd every day isn't always necessary a steady supply every 2-3 days worked well. I'd been on the pill as well for 11 years so it's possible to fall pregnant quickly from using pill. oh and number 1 symptom in 2 week wait was sore boobs and o noticed a size change at end of July. good luck all and wishing lots of bfp in February xx

Feeling cheesed off today!! Still getting flashing faces!!! I want to punch the smug little gits. To make it 10 times worse, I just used my last opk.. So feels like I've completely wasted £20 as I'm still none the wiser. Argghhh. And me and oh are both full of cold so deffo no dtd anytime soon. Hmmphhhh.

When we fell pg end aug, it was a shock surprise was not even planning!! I have been constantly on the pill and always overlapped i was shocked to even be pg.... I never believed it until i lost it was heart breaking and worst pain iv ever felt!! Think cos i was 3 months in baby was bigger!
Anyhooos dont wanna dampen this thread lol this is all about the new up and coming bfp's!!!

I'm the same since MC in november 37 days then 34 days... So my bfp due between 17th-24th.... So so long away!!!

Haha, well cycles have been around 36 days recently so probably around 18th feb time. What about you?? We'll be away then for feb half term so a nice little holiday bfp would be nice!

Yeah i suppose, god that must be so frustrating....
I've not ovulated yet!!
Due to ov this weekend, but following sperm meets egg plan.... Cd9 today i thought i was cd9 yesterday but it was only cd8, so dtd last night, miss tonight dtd tomorrow, and again until i get the 2 dark lines!!
I'm beginning to lose patience, i think the more us girls think,plan, and over do it the least likely we will conceive!!
So this week just trying to enjoy dtd with the dh and take it as it comes, i will be super upset though in 20 days time when af is due to arrive and i get a BFN!!

Hmmm i don't know, normally they say you ovulate within the 48 hours.... So thats strange? Google it lol.... I keep getting negatives so nothing for me yet, but will continue to dtd and hope for the best

I would have thought you will be fine if you dtd every night.
Yeah we were the same last month. Plus I wanted to lose some weight.

Yeah that's good though..... No i don't think they do, just have the little lines if the bottom ones fainter than the top then its a negative.... But i'll do one each say as they say, and just hope for the best, again as long as i'm dtd at least every night until after next weekend i should have caught my ov day? Surely!! You would think so anyway lol!

This is the first time i have planned it where as last month we only dtd like 3 times but we did so in my expected ovulation day, but nothing happened so i have no idea, so first time with the tests and we'll see what happens!

Eek it's nice to have a cycle friend

I'm surprised by my fertile window showing up this early so maybe I won't be on a 28 day cycle this month? It's all a bit new after having regular 28/29 day cycles for like 8 years.

Yeah I'd just keep dtd as you are. Do your tests show fertile window? Or just ovulation?

I'll carry on testing til I get a solid smiley :) Last month I had 3 flashing smileys before a solid so if it's the same I will get a solid smiley on Tuesday... If I ovulate then or Wednesday though I would've thought AF would arrive 14 days after otherwise my luteal phase must be messed up. ARGH! :P

Cd9 today... So we must have the same sort of cycles! Good to know someones same time as well! How exciting we'll be testing the same time
Except i'm not ovulating yet, done test today just internet cheapies still nothing, but will dtd tonight.... As in fertile window anways, and just hope for the best, your ovulation really early as date on app says the 2nd feb on a regular 28 day cycle, so hope the opks work and tell me when exactly... Will you do anymore opks? Or just dtd now until at least next weekend?

Just checked and I'm actually cycle day 9 not 10!
My cycles have always been regular til this month/last month =/

Last month (and most months before) I had my first flashing smiley at day 11 compared to this month first flashing smiley at 8dpo...
Very odd.

Haha, I'm not looking forward to the 2ww at all!
I ordered 20 internet cheapies yesterday and have got 3 branded tests as well to confirm if I get a BFP lol

I have 9 tests left so i'll do one each day this week and hope for the best!
Then it will be the dreaded 2ww lol
I have 10 pg tests too, not that i'll need them all but they are there anyways! i always test too early cant help myself lol
