Tranquility, as Ginger said, start now hun if you've got the CM because it does start a few days before you get the +ive OPK. I use the OPKs every day from about CD10. I'm on CD13 and had very faint lines yesterday and today (difficult to tell about EWCM because when you've been DTD that is left over aswell and it's quite difficult to tell the difference IYSWIM...)

I know all about ill-health though... We're waiting on blood tests for DD (she had to have 7) to try and determine why she's so small (in height). We are convinced it's genetic as even though DH and I are both 5ft 8, DH's Mum and Sister were both only 5ft (in heels!!). But they need to check that she doesn't have some undiagnosed problem. Trouble is it takes 8 weeks to get the results.

One of them is for Turners Syndrome which people often terminate for because it normally comes up on an Amnio. I had an Amnio but mine was clear so you'd think we'd be Ok, but nope, apparently it doesn't always show up - typical!!

Hope your parents tests and DD's blood tests all come back OK Tranquility. x

We I've just started to get CM this morning but peed on an OV stick but nothing. Knew I shouldn't have bought them, it's another obsession isn't it! CD11 here. V stressed this month as both my mum and dad have tests at the hospital next week and my daughter had got to go for blood tests at the hospital as she's been getting lots of tummy aches lately. Need a break for illness for my family :(

Do any of you suffer from anxiety? Mine isn't great at the moment it has to be said x

Sorry Ginger, but don't give up yet. As for the LP Defect, I was temping when I found mine. So I knew that my temp was dipping on the same day that the spotting started. It would go back up again but not quite to the high temps that it was pre-spotting starting. So I went to the GP armed with this information.

He spoke to the FC who told him to prescribe me Progesterone. Made no difference at all to my spotting so I realized then that it wasn't a Progesterone problem. I tried it for 3 months and it was the same each time. Since the Lap & Dye, the spotting has eased off and I now don't get it until 10DPO (10 day LP is actually OK, it's anything under 10 that's a problem). But I don't think it has an impact on my LP anymore as mine is always old blood until about DPO13. Try not to worry too much but see if Progesterone can help in your case.

Fankle, I also lost a friend a couple of years ago because she gleefully announced her PG about a month after my MC having not been there for me through that. I haven't seen her since. I hope she's happy of course, but I just can't be around her.

So I went to the GP and he said it's Scabies!!!!!!. But I honestly don't think it can be. It's not in any of the obvious places (in between my fingers/toes, underarms etc) and DH and DD would have it if that's what it was!!! Plus you catch it from long-term skin contact with an infected person or by sexual contact with an infected person. As I said DH doesn't have it and the most skin contact I have (other than him) is with DD as I work from home on my own, so surely they would both have it or I would have had to have caught it from them!!! Very odd...

DH has got me some calamine lotion to use so I'm going to go down that route and see if it clears up itself if I don't itch it...

Ginger I'm on crotch watch too! :) It's weird what this ttc stuff does to you, I've never been so obsessed with bodily functions. I didn't know about the LP defect, thanks for the heads up on that, I might fall in to that category so another thing to discuss with my GP next week. I'm trying to get as many tests done through the NHS as poss coz they're all so expensive if you have to go private.

Aw no, Ginger. Do you think it's def AF? Could it not be implantation spotting? I don't really know when you can expect that..and not everyone gets it (I didn't with my bfp).

I hate this stage of the 2ww. I have sore boobs and some cramps/ twinges. I'm going away for a night on Saturday and I know I'll have to pack tampons as due on Sunday/Monday

It's natural to feel a bit envious of your friends but they clearly went through a lot and really want to have kids. Good on them. I've not even seen 2 of my good friends since they announced the pregnancies...and one of them has already given birth (but she lives far away so at least I have an excuse). The other friend lives much closer and is due in July...the longer I leave it, the harder it will get. Losing friends left, right and centre here!

Oh Ginger that sucks. I would feel the same about your friends in your shoes. It's so hard, every time one of my friends announces a pregnancy I'm pleased for them but begrudge it at the same time. I'm meant to be out with friends this eve but I can't bear to listen to the ones who do have children moan about their kids and the once who don't talk about their plans to have them.

Ahhh Inshock, don't give up hope yet. It's rubbish though when you get the initial signs of AF. Your heart just sinks like a stone doesn't it :-(. Keep your chin up hun. xxx

Mel, sorry for being so selfish - I missed your post altogether , so sorry that AF got you hun, she's a bitch - but good on ya for getting right back on that horse!! Definitely the right decision to get the OPKs in if your cycles are a bit all-over-the-place so at least you can make sure you catch OV!

DTD was interesting last night while I was frantically trying to scratch my arms and legs!! It wasn't the most romantic situation in the world so with all the negative (scratchy) vibes going on I'll be very surprised if we're successful!!

So just for you Ginger I've added a couple of pics of my cakes in the hope that no-one in RL recognizes them. Please note, I do this for enjoyment, I'm not very good!!! The Peppa Pig cake was for DD's birthday last year and I had to make all the characters out of sugarpaste that I'd had to colour to the exact shades.

Off to 'The Big Cake Show' at Westpoint Arena in Exeter tomorrow - looking forward to a presentation by Mary Berry - if I can stop bloody itching!!! LOL

I'm on cd26 about 11/12dpo, resisting the urge to test! Was feeling really positive this month, had cramps and spotting, but now had a migraine for 2 days :( so think it might be unwelcome sign AF is about to show up.

kegirl take the antihistamines and use a lubricant instead. One of the sperm assisting ones like concieve plus or preseed might help? Xx hope you feel better soon x

KEGirl that sounds awful, I too was going to suggest calamine lotion. Your dd's excema stuff sounds like a good idea, won't hurt to try anyway. Let us know how you get on.

Inshock, I never need asking twice about Fish and Chips - still my fave take-away!!!

Ladies, I'm having a mare. I am due to OV in a couple of days and I don't know how but I've managed to have an allergic reaction to something and my arms and legs are covered in a really itchy rash.

But typically, this is the worst time to take antihistamines because apparently they stop the production of CM so are not recommended during this stage of the month when TTC.

Has anyone got any suggestions??? The itching is so awful.

I'm going to have a (not too hot) bath tonight in some of DD's excema stuff (she doesn't really have it now but we have some for emergencies).

It's just awful, I can't stop scratching!!!

Sorry to hear that Mel. Loving the positive attitude tho, I use the CB advanced opk and find it totally reliable. Trust a man to see the bright side :) Mine thought it was fantastic for a few months, now he complains he feels used :)

Morning ladies! Well I had a visitor last night. AF arrived 3 days earlier than predicted . So this was a 26 day cycle....last one was 41! Back to the guessing game then!
