Allo ladies! Wondering if there are any other over 35's (apparently the age of fertility suicide, who knew?) ttc for over a year wanting to chat? If so, pour yourself some virtual wine and let the chatting commence!

Trying my 14 year old is a girl......a delightful teenage girl!!lol. She is beautiful, talented but a real pain in the arse too, not helped along by the hormones especially at certain times of the month!! Grin

Lifehas Shopping spree sounded very successful, hope the sexy undies has done the trick Wink
Sorry to hear of your losses.

KEGirl The easter egg hunt sounds fab and well done to your DD Smile It's great when the kiddies do well at school so boast away! We had parents evening last night for DS and he's doing great. His teacher says that he's a pleasure to have in class and has a great work ethic, hope it continues when he goes to secondary school in September.

Tranquility Great news about your mum Smile Let us know how your dad gets on, fingers crossed for him too.

Tranquilitybaby · 02/04/2014 14:29

Aww kegirl that's so sweet of your dd, I hope you can too xxx

Dtd last night again so we're officially in the 2ww now x

KEGirlOnFire · 02/04/2014 11:06

Tranquility, that's great news for your Mum's results!!! Brilliant Grin. Fingers crossed your Dad's results are just as promising! Thanks

Lifehas absolutely!

One of the stories in a book that DD is reading at the moment is about a pixie going into the classroom and offering all the children one wish. DH asked DD what she would wish for if a Pixie came to her class and she said 'a baby sister!'. Sad I really hope that I can deliver that for her (although I don't think she would mind whether it was a DSis or a DBro!).

So proud of DD right now. I went in to see her teacher on Monday and she said that even though she's in Reception, she's reading at Year 2 Level!! I was really surprised and pleased! Also, she was one of only 9 children in her school that got their Gold Merit Award this term.

Sorry, bit of a boast there but it's not something I can do in real life!!! Hope you don't mind! Blush

lifehasafunnywayofhelpinguout · 01/04/2014 22:36

Hi Kegirl. Thank you for your support. Sorry for your losses as well, but they'll always be our babies. xx

Tranquilitybaby · 01/04/2014 22:35

Hi girls, what a long day it was. Mums results were good and dad's ct scan went smoothly, he find out his results in a few weeks. Thanks for thinking of me.

Was too tired to dtd last night bit did the night before that. Still quite a lot of EWCM though so will dtd tonight too to make sure we've covered it.

I'm so looking forward to the Easter holidays, no routine!! Yay!

KEGirlOnFire · 01/04/2014 21:26

Ahhh lifehas, dd's birthday is 8th June, sorry for your loss. I have had 2 mcs, both early at 5 and 6 weeks so I know how you feel Sad.

It's my 40th in June and dh is throwing me a big party. If I get pg this month I will be 12 weeks by the time the party comes so will be able to explain why I'm not drinking. But it happens in the next couple of months I won't be able to say and that could be really awkward at my own party!!!!

It seems crazy having to think like that but it's really worrying me!!!

lifehasafunnywayofhelpinguout · 01/04/2014 21:07

Well I started trying back in May without D.P's knowledge wrong I know but he's fully on board now. As you may have read I had a chemical pregnancy in September and I was unsure how he'd react but he was delighted. He still thinks it was a very happy accident. The morning after I told him I woke up and was bleeding. I took another test and it was negative. I was devestated as was D.P. He wanted to try again but I wasn't sure but we had a long talk and after A.f had left we started trying again. So offically since the start of October unofficially since May. It's hard at the moment as I would have been 7 months pregnant. Our little cherub was due 7th June. xxx

tryingat40 · 01/04/2014 20:52

Boys are loving, girls are too until they reach the teenage years (Mine is almost there!) How long have you been trying this time? Its hard work :( XX

mampam is your 14 year old a girl or boy? XX

lifehasafunnywayofhelpinguout · 01/04/2014 20:44

Hi Trying. I have been blessed with a girl. My angel is also a girl. I have had many dreams about her. I am hoping for a boy if I do get pregnant again, but another girl will certainly not be disapointment. D.P wants a daughter. xx

tryingat40 · 01/04/2014 20:36

Hi girls!!!!! Lol no KEgirl, a midlander! Originally from Mansfield now living in Coventry.

Lifehas shopping would win me hands down! 14 year old boy or girl? Mine is a boy and the 12 year old is a girl.. give me boys anyday! I am on the 2ww now too, feel like crap which is unusual for me. Maybe the clomid works.. 1st month doubtful but you never know!!!

lifehasafunnywayofhelpinguout · 01/04/2014 18:31

Hi Kegirl. Well I spent his money. He brought me a dress shoes a bag perfume and sexy under wear. I paid him back when we got home. Let's just home it's resulted in our little miracle. xxx

KEGirlOnFire · 01/04/2014 18:02

Lifehas, shopping sounds preferable in my humble opinion Wink...

As for the Easter holidays, I'm thinking of arranging an Easter Egg Hunt for some of the children in DD's class in the local park. Basically telling the Mums to bring a back of small Easter Eggs and make sure their DC has a small bucket to collect eggs in and then I'll hide them all and watch them hunt for them. Most Mums seem to be up for it but it's finding a nice day but at the same time, making sure it's not so hot that the eggs all melt!! LOL

Other than that, lots of trips out with DD because I have the first week off and then DH can decide what he wants to do with her the second week when he's off. I'll be back at work for a rest! Wink

lifehasafunnywayofhelpinguout · 01/04/2014 17:15

Hi trying. Welcome to the thread.

I am in my 2ww from today. D.T.D earlier on this afternoon was originally planning to jump on D.P all day but decided to go shopping this morning instead. xx

mampam · 01/04/2014 16:18

You are right KEGirl it will all be worth it in the end Smile

Not doing much at Easter, well during the holidays anyway. DH has his cousin from up north coming to stay with us next week, DD1 and DS are off to stay with their dad on Monday and come back the following Saturday. Meanwhile I Will be entertaining DD2, doing coursework and doing DH's end of year accounts. Highly exciting stuff Wink

What is everyone else up to?

Welcome Trying I too have a dc14 also a 10 and 3 year old too.

KEGirlOnFire · 01/04/2014 15:37

Hi Trying and welcome to our little group - we're a friendly bunch!!

At first I thought you might be DSis... Wink She had first two DCs using Clomid (13 and 9 years) and then when they certainly didn't want anymore, got PG naturally with their DC3 (just turned 2). But I know for a fact that she doesn't want anymore DCs so no fear of finding her on here - LOL!! Grin

Sounds like you've been through the mill aswell. Why is life never easy??!!

I don't suppose you're another Devonshire Dumpling??? Wink

tryingat40 · 01/04/2014 13:48

Hi Girls!!!

Can I join your gang?

40 (well for 2 more days) Have fertility issues in the past. Took clomid for my 1st 2 children who are now 14 & 12 then got my little miracle unaided in 2008. (Different partner) we have been trying ever since as i thought my fertility MUST be ok, finally braved it and went to see my gp who did bloods etc and i am not ovulating :( He has put me back on clomid, This is my 1st month and I am now on the 2ww although i have serious pms so sure AF is on her way!!!!!

KEGirlOnFire · 01/04/2014 11:49

Morning all,

No more news here. 2DPO now (I think) so won't have anything really to get excited about for at least 10 days!!

Itching is much better now but unfortunately I'm feeling like I'm getting a cold - bloody typical!!

Looking forward to my week off with DD next week. No doubt lots of play-dates will be organised.

Is everyone looking forward to Easter???

Sorry that you're feeling sick Mampam, but at least you'll get a little bundle of joy!!

Hope everyone else is OK.

x

mampam · 01/04/2014 10:47

Those poor pandas stubborn with the whole world waiting in anticipation Grin

Glad the itching is getting better KEGirl Smile
No real baby news here. I'm feeling sick all the time, smells make it worse and I can only eat and drink what I fancy or the thought of it just makes me want to be sick. Really trying hard not to actually be sick. Not complaining though, I know I've just got to get through it best I can just dreading work this week but we break up for the school holidays on Friday which couldn't come at a better time Smile

Anyone else got any news? Who was poas this week?

stubbornstains · 01/04/2014 09:13

Just back to say.....I am feeling enormous amounts of sympathy for those giant pandas in Edinburgh Zoo right now. We think we're under pressure to get a BFP!

8 days to AF, and I'm getting cramps. Oh, stop it, body! I don't know what's going on, and it's driving me mad....

Gingerbreadlady1 · 31/03/2014 23:19

Lol stubborn, loving it!

KEGirlOnFire · 31/03/2014 17:58

So, I've now made it through a whole work day without taking any Piriton or having to apply the E45 Itch Relief cream. So I'm guessing the medication has finally kicked in - hurrah!!!

Also started weight watchers today (just borrowing my friend's book and doing it at home) and have enough points left over (after my three main meals) to have a packet of Snack-a-Jacks and some Rich Tea biscuits later on for a snack!

How is everyone getting on? Mampam, any baby news? xx

mampam · 31/03/2014 14:46

Glad the itching is slightly better KEGirl

Tranquilitybaby · 31/03/2014 12:40

That sounds good to me! :) let's do this together. Glad the itching is calming down x

KEGirlOnFire · 31/03/2014 11:54

Well the itching does seem to have reduced today. So I wonder if the antibiotics and steroid cream have started to work (finally). I haven't needed to take any Piriton so far today. Having said that, I've turned the heating off so my office is quite cool, it's being warm that aggravates the itching.

I think I'm probably around 1DPO today. So into that 2WW. We can be cycle buddies Smile.

Tranquilitybaby · 31/03/2014 10:24

Thanks KEGirl thought it was, will try again tonight. I don't mind but it just feels a bit premeditated really. Then the dreaded 2ww starts! Good luck to you, I hope this is your month. How's the itching?
