Oh Boba, sorry AF got you, so upsetting.
Mabel, I hope AF is staying away for you, and thankyou for the reassurance that my dd probably would love it, she's very grown up for her age and I'm sure you're right.
Thanks also for saying the third baby will come, that made me smile, yours will too.

MabelMay · 30/01/2014 17:18

And coffeechocolate I had just turned 9 when my little brother was born (I was the youngest of 4 before that) and there was absolutely NO jealousy whatsoever. Just pure joy at having a baby in the family. It's such a lovely age for a girl to have a little brother or sister. I doted on my little brother - and my mum tells me I was a real help to her too. Believe it or not, I loved the nappy changing! So I think it's a great gap for you and everything will be fine. Your older kids will love it and your baby (when it comes and it will come) will be doted on.

MabelMay · 30/01/2014 17:15

boba sorry to hear about AF arrival. Hope you're not too disappointed.

Am symptom spotting like crazy too. AF is basically due any minute now (today) but I daren't POAS. Boobs aching like crazy in bed last night, but they've done that quite a lot in cycles since my MMC and it's so far never resulted in a BFP. I'm holding off on the POAS until sunday or monday...

DGLLB metallic taste is good! I've been nauseous the last few mornings and like a fool have already been picturing the pregnancy for the whole 9 months.

How old are all your older DCs?

BobaFetaCheese · 30/01/2014 13:06

af arrived late last night, lighter than usual AND I still feel nauseous, think I must be ill! I take Tranexmic Acid for heavy periods so have no idea if it's stopped again or the pills are just been great. Grrh!

DGLLB; metallic taste sounds good! Well you know what I mean Grin

Coffee; I wish I paid more attention to impeding af signs when I wasnt ttc, hangnail should mean pg, least some good would come of them, horrible things

How are yoy feeling Different? Any luck poas this morning?

DGLLB · 30/01/2014 10:57

BOBA have you done another test yet?

COFFEE i am its driving me mad, iv got a horrible metallic taste in my mouth but this could be a sign of AF.....7 days to go.....

OP posts:
Coffeechocolate · 29/01/2014 20:17

Anyone else going symptom spotting Doolally?
I'm thirsty and tired - hahaha - it's not the beginning of a cold, it's a sign of pg!
Oh and I have a hangnail... Surely...

BobaFetaCheese · 29/01/2014 12:43

different, sorry it's still bfn. It's not over until AF shows!

I'm knicker checking like a crazy lady thinking af must be on its way here so understand frustration!

DGLLB · 29/01/2014 11:12

i agree, im much more aware of things since TTC, keep thinking and hoping every little twinge is not AF arriving, this 2ww seems to be lasting forever and i just want to know!

OP posts:
Coffeechocolate · 28/01/2014 21:35

I've been having a few odd twinges which I've naturally put down to Unrealistically early pg symptoms! Had a rather painful on and off crampy type pain in one side when picking dcs up yesterday.
Telling myself that I probably always get such pains throughout the month but dismiss them!
I definitely think I'm more aware these aches and pains since I've started ttc! Driving myself bonkers!

DGLLB · 28/01/2014 21:24

Oh I really do hope so coffee Smile

I'm also symptom spotting like mad! AF not due until 6th feb Hmm

Adifferent don't give up yet it's not over until AF shows up

OP posts:
Coffeechocolate · 28/01/2014 21:15

Oh no adifferent, that's so frustrating. But you know, as is said on here, you're not out until AF turns up.
It's so cruel that we get these symptoms that convince us we are pg, it just makes the bfns/AF more upsetting. Although we haven't been trying for the past few years I have had many months where I've thought I was pregnant with AF being late, what I thought were pg symptoms etc, and only when I took the hpt did AF show up almost immediately, it's like my own hope of being pregnant was stopping AF - weird!
On a more positive note, some people don't get BFPs for a few days after AF is late so there's still that chance.
Fingers crossed for you.

ADifferentKindOfMum · 28/01/2014 20:19

A bit fed up. Got some cheap tests and for some stupid reason did one after the other around midday, copious toilet trips before hand...what a waste. Big bfn's. I should have left it until the morning and now I dont want to test again it is so gutting! No af in sight still. I've felt sick for over a week now so I'm sure if I was pregnant I'd be getting a positive result.

Coffeechocolate · 28/01/2014 18:47

You're not out yet DG, I had period type pains for weeks with my dd, was convinced AF was going to appear but never did.
I'm symptom spotting like no ones business here, which is just silly as AF isn't due until the 8th of Feb!

DGLLB · 28/01/2014 16:29

Good luck every one! Adifferentkind you have some willpower, wish I did lol

OP posts:
DGLLB · 28/01/2014 16:28

Hi all last time I come in here there was 5 messages lol, iv been having period type pains this morning, can't remember having them with my two before so starting to think this month isn't my month Sad

OP posts:
Coffeechocolate · 28/01/2014 12:28

Wow AdifferentKindOfMum, not POASing since Sunday, that's some willpower lol. I know what you mean though, I'd much rather AF came than seeing a bfn.
That's frustrating JanePurdy, you just want to get on with it don't you?
Hi Boba, here's hoping we all get our BFPs soon,
Darn 2WW!

BobaFetaCheese · 28/01/2014 09:52

Joining.

Ds's are 2 & 6m.

Cycle 1, others took 10 & 9 months ttc so not expecting much but af is a day late already, bfn yesterday.

Good luck everyone!

JanePurdy · 28/01/2014 08:38

Wish I could join you! Went to have my IUD removed just after New Year so we can ttc #3 & found that the strings have lost - so waiting for my appointment in two weeks to get it removed by hysteroscopy. Can't moan too much as I will have only missed one cycle but I am ovulating now & my darn IUD is still in there! We have DC aged 5 & 2.

ADifferentKindOfMum · 28/01/2014 08:31

How is everyone? It is cd 32 here..looks like another anomally month like November. Before ttc I had absolute clockwork cycle of 28-29. Haven't tested since Sunday afternoon...going to hold off a bit longer as I hate the disappointment!

Coffeechocolate · 28/01/2014 07:33

Hi MabelMay, so sorry to hear of your MCs, fingers crossed that this is your month.
As for age gaps, I'm wondering how my dd would cope, (she's just turned eight) with being a middle child! My ten year old ds is always asking for a baby brother or sister so he'd be fine lol!

MabelMay · 27/01/2014 22:56

Whoops! I mean my DS2 is aged 5. So it's going to be quite a gap if I ever do manage to get a number 3.

MabelMay · 27/01/2014 22:55

Hi -
Yes I can join. Have DS1 aged 7 and DS2 aged 2. Have been ttcing for nearly a year. Two MCs. MC in first cycle. and MMC back in August.

I'm 39. Have mild endo which isn't helping with the ttc business.
AF or BFP due 31st Jan.
Feeling positive this month - which is bound to be setting me up for some disappointment.

Hello and good luck all!

Coffeechocolate · 27/01/2014 22:02

Hi AdifferentKindOfMum, it's so mean when AF is late. I can be as regular as clockwork for months and then suddenly be a whole week late! Ridiculous!
Well, we'll see how ttc will affect AF!

ADifferentKindOfMum · 27/01/2014 11:57

Hallo..third cycle here too. af is 2 days late but have had 2 bfn so far. On cycle 1 I was 5 days late for no apparent reason so I am assuming the same. Am 40.
Wow sorry for all the numbers haha!

DGLLB · 27/01/2014 11:34

this is our 3rd month but 1st month we have "properly" tried, 2ww seems last forever!
