Anyone hanging around with a bfn and no af?

Waiting around 3 days late bfn and awaiting the af so I can get right back on with ttc! I have a monitor to try out and can't start til it comes!! Anyone else waiting the inevitable?

Sahara - I feel your pain! I hadn't realised how much I wanted to get pregnant until I saw that single lonely BFN line :-( Good luck with the move, and fx you either get a BFP or AF arrives sometime soon (ideally the BFP!).

Congrats Mrs on your BFP!!!

Saharap2 · 07/02/2014 18:49

I am moving house next weekend so I think I will probably wait til then and if still nothing try and get the tests when signing up with new GP if they will make me wait for the tests and not do them on the spot.

I tried to drink a pint today and just couldn't stomach it which is also something I had when pregnant before. Feeling a bit sick again today. When I was pregnant last time I didn't test until about 6 or 7 weeks because I just didn't realise (wasn't trying at the time) so I wondered whether mine just don't show up until late but I know that is a bit unlikely and there would be no reason to not show up on a test.

Just feeling miserable about it and had a little cry :( I know it sounds pathetic but it's so frustrating and I just want my baby and want to see that line on the stick!

dreamlullaby · 07/02/2014 16:58

Awe congrats mrs x so happy for you ,
I'm now 8 days late been to doctors and waiting on blood test 18th feb , another long wait

MrsS82 · 07/02/2014 10:26

Thanks HRMumness, got it confirmed yesterday BFP. Due Date 14.10.2014 so still very early days but we are both very very happy and excited, its also a shock as its been very quick for us. 2nd month ttc.

Keeping everything crossed for you all, its not over till its over Grin

tinaw20 · 07/02/2014 10:07

Hey ladies! I'm having a hard time just now too! Been ttc for 6 months and my AF has turned psycho on me! Used to be 34 days regular as clockwork but now it's varying from 37-42 days! I'm on CD37 just now and had cramps, back pain and tender boobs for over a week now! Never got anything like that pre ttc! I think my body hates me :(

Spotti · 07/02/2014 10:02
  • what a Wally! I meant 3rd Feb, not 6th. DUH! All of this counting is making my brain co fuzzed :-p
Spotti · 07/02/2014 09:50

Hey, newbie here. Been lurking for a while but felt I had to post on this thread as I'm in the same boat as you guys and MY GOD it's frustrating!!!

AF was due here on the 6th Feb...I'm now 5 days late, took a test this morning and got a BFN :-(. I wouldn't be quite so miffed if AF just turned up and then we could get on with life again, but this limbo business is driving me nuts! I've already waited through the dreaded 2 week wait, and then 5 days more. Mother Nature - can't you tell me one way or another? I hate all of this waiting!!

Ok, rant over.

Has anyone else in this thread found out yet? Fx for those still in limbo x

Groovester · 07/02/2014 09:08

I hear you Sahara - My GP gave me the choice between waiting or taking bloods and although deep down I knew the results would be negative, I still asked him to do the test. I hope you get some answers soon although everyone's advice is really "just wait and see..." Not helpful!
I have had some tummy cramping since last night. It may be AF on the way (but this is odd as I don't often get tummy cramping - always suffered from back pain instead with my mc)

At least it's almost the weekend!

Saharap2 · 06/02/2014 21:44

Groovester your situation sounds the same as me. I will be day 46 tomorrow and still no sign of anything :( I am thinking of trying to get a blood test too but if first response is bfn I'm sure a blood test prob will be too. Argh.

Groovester · 06/02/2014 21:40

It is exhausting to be sure dream - I am now in limbo waiting for another few weeks to see if anything happens. If no AF shows then I will be back to see him pronto. Hope you get an appointment soon.

HRMum I feel your pain. I too have spent a lot of money on HPT - literally pissing our money away! I hope you get some answers soon. TTC is hard work - the symptom spotting becomes exhausting! x

HRMumness · 06/02/2014 17:26

Another one signing in. Glad I'm not the only one in limbo land. Second month TTC #2. Last AF on 7th Jan which was much longer than normal, 11 days. I had been digging in the garden and felt a strange pain, then had the long period so was a little worried. Didn't go get a check-up though, although kicking myself for that now.
Was due on the 1st Feb, have had plenty of cramps, nausea, clumsiness, being short-tempered with DH, crying and tingling boobs. However, despite POA enough S to build an art installation, every single one comes back negative. Got a doctors appointment next week, so hopefully a BFP or AF shows up in the meantime.

Congrats to Mrs - that's so exciting for you.

dreamlullaby · 06/02/2014 16:45

ahh groove hun x happy baby baking in feb x
im now 7 days late after the strange half a day watery brown one on 3rd jan do really 5 weeks late , rang doctor he called back as no app and told me to wait another few days and call to make app again
honestly worn out this craming has me so nervous

Groovester · 06/02/2014 14:40

And a bfn blood test. GP said everything looks normal. So...cd 45. 18 days late. And not pregnant.

Marvellous...

Now have to wait and see. And agonise about the state of my cycle :0(

Groovester · 04/02/2014 20:57

Awwww, brilliant news Mrs - what an exciting time for you and DH. Pregnancy certainly is a bit of a rollercoaster (cliched but true) and then you'll have the whole new world of parenthood to look forward to. Great fun! x

I had GP this afternoon. He was not overly concerned really. Said I could wait a few weeks more to see what AF would do this month or take a blood test and find out for definite on Thursday so of course, I asked for the test. He has said if it's negative the likelihood of my being pregnant is unlikely. So more waiting. I don't feel pregnant like last time though so I'm not very confident really.

Until Thursday... Wink

MrsS82 · 04/02/2014 20:54

Thanks I will keep everything crossed for you dreamlullaby

dreamlullaby · 04/02/2014 20:47

CONGRATS MRS xxxxx
Im still getting nothing 5 days late (im never late)
think im going to have to book an app with docs

MrsS82 · 04/02/2014 19:16

Hi Ladies, thought I'd update, just got a my BFP on a Superdrug own test, to match the 4 faint positives on the internet cheapies!!!! Think I can finally say it's happening.

Please update on your own, best wishes to you all x

MrsS82 · 04/02/2014 12:59

Until its confirmed I don't think I will believe it. DH is the sensible one but its hard for me not to get carried away.

My DH and I are both 31, ttc #1, only second cycle. Married 9 months ago and besides opk this month we haven't done anything much different from normal, I think we've just been very very lucky.

Going to call the doctor in the morning for an appointment. Smile

bellaboo88 · 04/02/2014 12:45

I think after 3tests, its a definate mrss!!! Congrats! What's your stats? X

MrsS82 · 04/02/2014 10:37

Okay so that's three faint positives in a row; 1 at 7am yesterday, 6pm last night then 7am this morning..... each positive seems to be getting marginally darker but still faint, it can take the full 10 minutes to appear although todays test I didn't have to squint or hold up to the light.

Only 2 days late but I did throw up a little this morning and my boobs are sore to touch so its all pointing in the right direction. I've bought proper tests this morning but DH has made me promise to wait until we can do it together.... thanks for the nice comments, please keep everything crossed for me as I will be for you all. Shock

bellaboo88 · 03/02/2014 23:49

Hope yr docs appointment goes OK...

After yesterdays lunchtime 5pence piece spotting, absolutely nothing, maybe a teardrop of watery brown today...I even tamped up thinking she was on her way!!

Keep 'danger poking' lol, to check & its clear/slightest hint of peach

Come to think of it, my bad tummys gone & gone the other way today!

Can't get my hopes up....15dpo/cd32 tomorrow

Hope someone gets bfp/stronger bfp to cheer us up!! X

Saharap2 · 03/02/2014 21:32

I'm on day 42, no AF, have various symptoms, very tired, bit nauseous... I have been having cycles of about 30/31 days since coming off the pill, tested when I should have been due for AF and got bfn. I tested again earlier this week and bfn. It is driving me crazy. I just want a bfp or if it's not coming then just to get my period and get on with next cycle. I don't know what's wrong with me!

Groovester · 03/02/2014 20:58

Hello Ladies!
Sorry I've not been on. Yesterday was a manic day and today I've been at work. I tested with Clearblue yesterday morning and I got a BFN (just like you Shiny) I tested again this morning and got another BFN. And I will test tomorrow again before seeing my GP at 5 o'clock. Still no AF. Still have dodgy bowel rumblings. It's a nightmare although to be honest, I am a bit calmer about things now. If I have my dates right then next AF should be due Valentine's weekend (oh the Romance...) I don't think the doctor will do much until we wait and see what happens next month.

Sorry that you're feeling blue Shiny Sad

Thank you for your kind wishes bella - any more news apart from the spotting?

Nice to see you again dildoos Smile

dream I really feel for you. The being in limbo thing is not fun at all. Have you seen a doctor yet?

Congratulations Mrs - lovely to see a BFP on this thread. Hopefully your baby dust will rub off on all of us. Wink (p.s. Cramping is normal so long as it's not excruciating)

Terrible lower back pain today so I am away to bed with a hot water bottle. Feeling tired and a wee bit sorry for myself.

Love that we are all supporting each other on here x

dreamlullaby · 03/02/2014 19:37

im 4 days over and still negative , dont know whats going on with by body now im never late and not stressed

MrsS82 · 03/02/2014 11:23

I am trying not to get carried away and a little worried as have had a few cramps today but read that a/f symptoms can be normal?.... I will go out at lunch to get proper digital test as have only used internet cheapy this morning. Its only our second month ttc so still very early for us. This wait is torture.
