Hey, on the 2ww and looking for some support! Just changed onto a 40 day cycle so this has been a long time coming, not that hopeful though as even though we used OPKs we only DTD a couple of times during high fertile time because hubby feels the pressure and can't always perform lol still be nice to have some support. I would call this cycle 2 of officially trying so still early days.

No, just a nympho Grin

DD has taken to having 2.5 hour naps and DP works opposite and sometimes comes home for a lunch shag break Grin And she's pretty good at sleeping in the evenings. (Let's not discuss mornings...)

I am also a tired mess a lot of the time - really the opposite of superwoman - I definitely prioritise sex over housework!

I found my sex drive came back with a vengeance when I got my periods back around a year after birth. I don't know if it was a physical thing or psychological, knowing I could have another baby… took a while to persuade DP to let me take my coil out though, hah.

Cakebaker35 · 21/01/2014 14:30

Weebairn, you have a 15mo and you've had sex nearly every day this month?! Are you super woman?! Grin

Claude, very very funny about maternity clothes!

We're all basically fruit cakes thanks to this TTC aren't we?!

welcome everyone new.

weebairn · 21/01/2014 14:26

Haha, I was so convinced I would be relaxed this time round. This is actually first cycle since I had my coil out so I will be such a lucky bastard if I'm pregnant.

My boobs look the same as pre-preg these days (DD is 15 months) so god knows what will happen.

I have promised myself I'll wait till the weekend to test! Period will be a week late then so there won't be any is-it-or-isn't-it …… fingers crossed.

claudeekishi · 21/01/2014 14:22

I'm so ashamed of myself! I am a normal person the rest of the time, I swear!

weebairn you must be on tenterhooks -- I will be if I'm in your situation in a few days because my cycles can be irregular too. My boobs look totally the same but if you're breastfeeding surely your boobs will still look fuller anyway.

It's a weird old business, eh?

weebairn · 21/01/2014 14:16

Grin at the maternity clothes. I have a box of them packed away from last time and keep wanting to get them out and look through. THAT WAY MADNESS LIES. (I also didn't get into mat clothes till the third trimester!)

weebairn · 21/01/2014 14:14

Hello guys!!
I am at the excruciating end of the 2ww here - period was due on Saturday but hasn't turned up. My cycles are a bit irregular so it could just be late. Every toilet trip is nail biting, lol.

No charting here but had loads of sex this month, almost every day.

I have no symptoms whatsoever. (No premenstrual ones either though!)

Last time I was pregnant I was very tired and emotional from my first day of missed period, and boobs grew and got tender very soon after. I am still breastfeeding no. 1 though so I have no idea what breast symptoms you might get with that - possibly they don't have to grow as they are already producing milk?? (hope so - despite still breastfeeding I wear nice bras again these days and like my boobs the size they are!)

Really hope I'm pregnant - trying not to get too excited!

claudeekishi · 21/01/2014 14:09

Bump, I can beat that....I have been looking at maternity clothes on ASOS Blush

Oh yes.

Apart from anything else, I didn't even need actual maternity clothes until about 7.5 months preg the last time around.

claudeekishi · 21/01/2014 14:08

Oh wow TheMumfords that is really special. So is this your first transfer?

You have absolutely picked the right place for the 2ww. A safe place to obsess and then we get back to trying to appear normal in our daily lives. Grin

Well I think I am 8 or 9dpo here, not fully sure. Thought I felt some kind of period type cramping this morning but I feel sure that any other month I wouldn't have noticed it. I guess it means nothing really -- either I am gearing up for AF or I am not.

TheMumfords · 21/01/2014 13:05

Hi there.. First congrats to you ladies for getting this far.. In new to this whole IVF business and starting to realise what people mean when they say it is an emotional roller coaster .. I'm currently 2dp3dt on strict 'couch' rest (any excuse to be lazy!!).. Our IVF story began almost 2 years ago but here we are at last at the final hurdle.. Bit of a tricky one as its not as straight forward as most IVF cycles.. I am using donated eggs from my beautiful wife with donated sperm.. We felt this way would be best for us as we will both have that special bond with out hopefully future child.. Anyway this wait is killing me.. The past two days have felt 10 times longer than usual!! I'm sure yous all know exactly what I mean.. I had my transfer on Sunday and had cramping pains and twinges that night and yesterday which I was worried about.. Today I don't and I'm still worrying.. What the hell.. Anyways thought this would be a great place for support..

BumpNGrind · 21/01/2014 10:58

Ergh! 4dpo.....this week will absolutely drag! I've now officially gone mad because I've lingered over all the baby offers in the supermarkets, i have to keep reminding myself that I'm not pregnant and i don't have any children yet!!

Please tell me your stories so i don't feel quite as obsessed!!

Pickles79 · 21/01/2014 08:45

Two hours sleep. And now have a really bloated and painful tummy so think AF is on it's way.

Cakebaker35 · 21/01/2014 08:17

Hope you managed some sleep pickles.
MrsF I am sure time stands still in the 2ww
Cd25 here, arghh, but I must resist til Saturday, be too early otherwise. Deliberately have no tests in the house to stop me doing random poas all week! X

MrsF2510 · 21/01/2014 08:14

Can I ask, as I am not using OPKs, for those of you who have a 27, 28 or 29 day cycles, what days did you get positive OPK readings? Am hoping I didn't miss it!

MrsF2510 · 21/01/2014 07:17

That's another day gone ladies. Well done to everybody who has refrained from POAS! I am now about 5dpo - wow this is going to drag!!!!

Pickles79 · 20/01/2014 23:45

Can't sleep due to obsessive thinking about poas!

Bumpforme2014 · 20/01/2014 19:32

Hi everyone, had a very busy day at work so big distraction! Home now and symptom spotting straight away lol I have a sore left boob not right just left haha also slightly dizzy and wet CM back today but all this is the same as last month (sigh) still feeling really hot at night with vivid dreams waking me up constantly.

OP posts:
MrsF2510 · 20/01/2014 16:30

Goodness no I've not had crazy dreams yet! I am about 4dpo so have got a wee while to wait yet!!

Cakebaker35 · 20/01/2014 09:13

Rockstars yes - worst though was a dream I had about being at the docs and being told I couldn't have any more children. Woke up crying then couldn't get back to sleep. Ridiculous!

rockstars12 · 20/01/2014 08:30

I have been dreaming about babies, pregnancy and childbirth Tec every night for over 2 weeks now. Obsessing much?! Hugely! Anyone else being sleeping this as well as living it daily?

Cakebaker35 · 20/01/2014 07:54

Bump you're so right about the 2ww being crazy - I hate the way it turns me from a relatively sane, rational person into a symptom spotting, emotional loon.

As for testing I'm going to hold out if I can keep away from the shops until cd29 (Saturday) - my cycle has been 25 and 34 days since coming off cerezette so I figure 29 is probably about right, assuming the witch hasn't put in an appearance by then grrr.

BumpNGrind · 19/01/2014 23:54

The 2ww is crazy and it's only my second month of ttc. I think 10dpo is when I'm going to test too. Last month I concentrated on my 'symptoms' so much that when AF arrived early I was not only gutted but shocked because I wasn't expecting it. This month I have to try and be more rational, but that so much easier said than done.

rockstars12 · 19/01/2014 23:19

Gotta love overtime. Of course this much work won't be doing my body any good, I do need to cut down. I made sure the tests weren't going to arrive in the post until it was roughly time to start testing.
Anyone else had cramps and back pain around 4dpo? Seems odd considering implantation isn't til later. Though I do suffer from irritable bowel syndrome, so. So m times it's hard to tell which is which.

Bumpforme2014 · 19/01/2014 22:33

That's the way to do it rockstars! 14 hour shifts though that's insane, at least it will make the week go faster?

Welcome bumpNgrind I think anything that keeps you away from home and unable to get hold of tests is the only way lol

I think your not officially suppose to test until day AF is due but since I don't know when AF is due I'm gonna test probably from 10dpo (next weekend) since that is when implantation usually occurs, you?

BumpNGrind · 19/01/2014 22:25

Hi Ladies I'm 2dpo so this week is going to draaag!! Any hints or tips to keeping your mind off the two week wait?

What day do you start testing?

rockstars12 · 19/01/2014 22:06

Hi bump! I've had snacks and watched a chic flick, feeling slightly happier. I have a long week of work as well, 2 of them 14 hour shifts, nothing like a long week that drags. I'm still arguing with myself over when I will test. I bought the 2 pack early expensive ones and a batch of cheap amazon. I know I'll cave and £3 to waste on negatives til it's the proper time will make me feel less guilty.
