I was a bit careless this month with contraception because sex is a bit rare in this house atm but we did er..have some and now I have had heartburn for a couple of days (usually only get in early pg)and AF is a little late but I knwo the answer - take a test! I have some coming in the post! Should be here early afternoon! Would not be good timing - due to start my degree in Sep!

doobydoo · 28/07/2006 13:45

It's a race against time

CorrieDale · 28/07/2006 13:43

What???? I mean, I know DH probably has the right to be the first to know but even so...

YellowFeathers · 28/07/2006 13:43

FGS, don't let him get excited and think your brewing your own beer!

YellowFeathers · 28/07/2006 13:42

I wouldn't worry about the parcel. I'd be more concerned about the tub of wee!

YellowFeathers · 28/07/2006 13:42

3 cheers for lock and lock boxes

LGJ, I' sure you'll pick something up at woolies.

schneebly · 28/07/2006 13:42

schneebly · 28/07/2006 13:37

I know foghorn but it is the same all round here - so many farms and places in the middle of nowhere! I though it was normal until I stayed with my aunt in Glasgow and her mail was through the door by the time we got up in the morning!

OP posts:
CorrieDale · 28/07/2006 13:36

don't they have mail order?

FoghornLeghorn · 28/07/2006 13:35

Schneebly your postie is bloody useless and you should tell he/she that when they finally arrive .

We have a Dunnes Store which sells food and household stuff. But not very good quality. If i was to venture further,to Cork, which is an hour away there is Mecca[ie Marks and Spencer]and other very good shops. But no Lakeland.
I used to buy stuff in there when i lived in uk as i walked past in when taking ds to school.Ziploc bags, salad spinners, one cup teapots and parchment
