tiggi - 8pm!!! Shock Then he's being very unreasonable in expecting you us to wait!!!! haha Grin

The best of luck, I'll be back at 20.03pm to hear the news - I really, really hope it goes the way you want. One of my friends was also given the impression by her GP that she'd struggle to conceive (she has a condition involving the lining of her womb) but she still got pregnant on their first month of trying. If it's meant to happen, then it will Smile

Aisha18 · 27/01/2014 16:40

Bella, symptoms were not that recognisable...but I noticed my skin was really good post ov, normally it starts to get bad after ov when I'm not on the pill...this month clear. Also about 12dpo I started to be really aware of my boobs! Sounds a bit odd..they didn't exactly hurt but I really knew they were there. I had a few dizzy spells in the tww, but could have been just getting up too fast. Also went for a weekend away with dh and we walked loads around town, up a hill, I was way more tired and short of breath than him..that never ever happened before.

English as for preseed and soft cups, I'm sure that's what did it for us, it felt like a bit of an industrial operation dtd sometimes but well worth it!

misstiggiwinkle · 27/01/2014 16:39

I dont think I'll be home from work until about 8pm...he is usually a similar time. I am clock watching like a fiend!

Thanks for the support, I have no nails left. Is it normal to be this crazy?!

A collegue just asked what I was doing this evening, all I wanted to shout was 'I'm going to poas'!

I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much though, I was told a few years ago that it was likely that I would struggle with fertility due to pcos, endometriosis and various other complications so this may well be a false alarm. Sit tight ladies, you'll be the first to know...

Writerwannabe83 · 27/01/2014 16:28

It's so exciting!!! What time are you expecting him home???? How long do we have to wait for news??? Grin I'm not updating the Passenger List until after you've done the test - I have a good feeling Smile

misstiggiwinkle · 27/01/2014 16:27

technically 2 however this is the first month of actually paying attention so I'd go with 1

Writerwannabe83 · 27/01/2014 16:20

What cycle are you on tiggi??

Writerwannabe83 · 27/01/2014 16:14

I'd just POtheS anyway but keep up the pretence to my DH that I hadn't!!! Grin

Aren't we all guilty of telling white lies to our DH/DPs on occasions?? Grin

I was testing for 7 days without my DH even knowing. I think I would have felt very pressured if I'd had to POAS with him standing there watching or waiting outside the bathroom door. I liked doing it on my own and then having that excitement of breaking the news to him Smile

misstiggiwinkle · 27/01/2014 16:04

Ok, so finally managed to pop to the shops and have picked up a truck load of tests.....now the wait begins, the 2ww was nothing compared to the next few hours! Spoke to DH at lunchtime and he made me promise not to do it without him, I am also slightly concerned that I might burst into tears at work which ever result I get if I did 'accidentally slip and poas'. The thought is extremely tempting though, however I cant quite make 'I accidentally unwrapped the test packets and poas without realising' sound convincing....any suggestions?!

EnglishGirlAbroad · 27/01/2014 15:59

Thanks Munday! I hope we've done enough!!
Aisha, I'm getting the soft cups and pre-seed if I have no luck this cycle!! Sounds like that could be the trick!! Smile

Fantastic news with all those BFP'S! Congratulations ladies!

Day 27 of cycle for me and no BFP and I am sure it would be picking up something now Sad so looking like AF will be visiting soon! Disappointed is not the word! I had awful cramps on Friday and last week and and felt sure AF was coming then but nothing. Boobies still killing me. Also any lines I THOUGHT I might have seen would surely have got stronger by now so well pissed off today. Just wish AF would hurry up now and stop playing mind games with me !!

MundayCakes85 · 27/01/2014 14:34

Hi English that is exactly what happened to me this month and I managed to get my BFP. FF said I ov'd cd28 although i think it was cd27. we DTD on cd 25 and 26 so don't give up hope yet.
Writer your shopping trip sounds so exciting, think I'd have bought the whole shop! 8 weeks to go!!!
Oh and good luck last couple of passengers x

bellaboo88 · 27/01/2014 13:38

Congrats queen!! Hope you can post your info soon!

Thx aisha for posting, never heard of soft cups before. Did you have any symptoms?

Woo 3!! Let's hope we get a few more before this weeks out!

Tiggie, get poas!! Peer pressure!!! Xx

Aisha18 · 27/01/2014 12:29

Wow congrats queen that's amazing! See you on the Oct 2014 thread Smile

So details of BFP..
DTD cd 9, 12, 13,14,15,17,19 ov on day 15 was using clear blue smiley opk

Things we did differently this month:
Used preseed for 1st time.
Used soft cups for 1st time (not everyone's cup of tea but I found them no prob, put in after 5 mins of legs in the air post-dtd, left in till next morning)
Made sure I had O after dh every time.
Ate loads of fruit and veg and basically no junk as was doing weight watchers this month...amazingly got to my goal weight, just checked this morning! Now waiting to put on shed loads more over next 9 months..will prob never again in my life weigh under 9 stone!

I'd really really recommend the preseed and soft cups, sure that's what did it for us.

Good luck allGrinGrin

spinningirl10 · 27/01/2014 11:05

Congratulations QueenGrin

Good luck tiggie....another vote here for poas right now!Grin

sazzlehopes · 27/01/2014 10:44

Ginger, how frustrating you poor thing - you must have the patience of a saint to be on cd 67 with no answers. Will you go back to the doctors again in a week if no answers?
Congrats Aisha, bump and queen - nice to have more bfps in the final week of the bus.

Good luck to the last few - i have my fx for you all.

EnglishGirlAbroad · 27/01/2014 10:44

Writerwannabe83 · 27/01/2014 10:29

Brilliant news!!!! The bus is busy this morning!!! I definitely need to update the Passenger list this afternoon. I will see if any more BFP's come rolling in first though Smile

queenasanti3 · 27/01/2014 10:08

Congratulations to those who have just got their BFP,
I've been testing over the last few days as my Af is due today, been getting really really faint line on cheap test strips, been to buy a clearblue and............its definitely a "BFP" :-), wow sooo excited.

TTC#2 Cycle 1 BFP 27 Jan 14

Hope to see you in the Due in Oct 14 thread when there is is one.
Good luck misstiggiwinkle, and to everyone eles testing and to all those on the Feb bus xx

EnglishGirlAbroad · 27/01/2014 09:05

It's so frustrating! I real roller coaster of fist accepting I hadn't ovulated, then thinking I had and ff hadn't picked it up and now thinking it has but I missed it! Bugger! Roll on the next 10days or so!
I've never wished my life away so much! Lol!
Your story give me hope that there may have been some swimmers lurking! Thanks! Smile

Writerwannabe83 · 27/01/2014 08:54

English - it does sound very fucked up. It must feel very frustrating, I hope things settle down and you get your BFP on the next Bus. They say Sperm (especially boy sperm I think) can live for up to 5 days in the womb so you are not out the running!! Although I didn't track my ovulation, going by my dating scans and the DTD sessions me and DH had it appears I conceived on a Friday from a Wednesday night session Grin

Writerwannabe83 · 27/01/2014 08:40

mama - it was exhausting!! But last night I put all the bedding on his Crib and and his mattress, attached his mobiles, put all his clothes in his drawers and wardrobe and there's no denying a baby is on it's way now. I also ordered myself a Maternity Nursing chair last night too which DH is collecting on Wednesday. I'm lying in bed now looking across at the Crib and I can't believe there's going to be a little baby in there soon.

8 weeks today and I'll be on the ward, excited but nervous!!
EEK!!!

mama31 · 27/01/2014 08:30

Big congrats Bump and Aisha! Fabulous news!!!!

Writer what an amazing day you must have had shopping!!! I'm sure you were exhausted after but had a huge smile on your face knowing that you are now super organised for your little man! Lovely! So exciting!

EnglishGirlAbroad · 27/01/2014 08:15

Well this cycle really is fucked up! Had some weird brown spotting on Thursday/Friday which I was hoping was implantation. Although ff hadn't picked up ov as my temps have been very weird.
Then I just assumed it was a long drawn out prelude to AF.
Now ff has given me an ov date of Friday according to my temps!! DTD very late Wednesday and last night. Bloody typical it happened when DH was out the country!! And that was CD 25 so it looks like this is gonna be a long cycle and I'm now only 3dpo!
Looks like I am officially off to the feb bus! Hopefully won't see any of you there (in the nicest possible way)! And will keep popping bag for the last few BFPs!! Good luck ladies!! Grin

EnglishGirlAbroad · 27/01/2014 08:13

Congrats Bump!!! Lovely news Grin
Tiggy - peen on said stick at lunch, if BFP hide in hand bag. Tell DH you'd rather pee in privacy and take pee soaked stick from bag. Or buy a two pack! Simple! Poas! Poas! Wink

Writerwannabe83 · 27/01/2014 08:07

tiggiwinkle - how exciting!!! I remember when I bought my first pregnancy test I ran into the shop's toilet straight away and did it there and then. It wasn't easy or glamorous being cramped in a scummy cubicle but there's no way I could hold off once the test was purchased and in my hands!!!! Grin

Just PO the S at lunch and tell your husband it was an accident Grin I don't know the finer details of this plan or how you came too pee on it by accident but I'm sure between us we can think of something Grin
