Ruby, sorry not rose, getting all confused with my teary eyes

sazzlehopes · 15/01/2014 17:19

God it is such a roller coaster on here today. Choccy, I am SO sorry for you, I cannot imagine what that feels like, I am glad you have ds, they are a blessing when things like this happen. I really hope all this serious testing sheds light onto what is going on. You can obviously carry a child through to term - you have ds to prove it. Look after yourself and keep us posted on anything else. Sending you huge mn hugs xxx

And rose in a way your post made me cry too even though it is happy bfp news and i should be shouting out congrats - I hope so much things turn out ok for you this time, you more than deserve good news after what you've been through this summer. I have my fx for you that this one turns out ok.

spinningirl10 · 15/01/2014 17:17

So sorry for you Choccy, pleased you had such a kind doctor Thanks

Ruby.....I'm keeping everything crossed for you.

DoctorDonnaNoble · 15/01/2014 17:12

Oh choccy! I'm so sorry! I hope you get answers.

Rubyshoe · 15/01/2014 17:09

Thanks Donna x

Choccywoccydodah · 15/01/2014 17:08

Hi all thank you for the kind wishes.

So, I've just been to the dr, and she was absolutely lovely.

Before I even got a word out I broke down into tears and she held my hand.
I explained that I'd had 3 early mcs in 3 months and she has sent me for blood tests tomorrow morning, results hopefully back by tomorrow afternoon/early Friday.

Also said to attend scan Friday even if I'm still bleeding.

My tests are now negative, so I know the 'baby' has gone.
The bloods are (on the form)
haematology:Fbc and esr.

clotting screen.
biochemistry: u&e, lft, gamma gt, bone profile, glucose, hba,c.
Thyroid.
Cholesterol.
Immunology:crp.

Other:lupus, Ana, antiphosphohpid.
If anyone knows what they are, feel free to shed light.
She said they'll do a progesterone test at 21 days. They're going to let the bloods come back first and see if there's any problem, if not I'll be referred to a specialist.

I asked her about my uterine lining and she said that would be a talk to the specialist thing, also asked about me taking baby aspirin and she said to keep taking it.

Hope everyone else has had a better day than me. I'm so glad I have ds here to cuddle up to

DoctorDonnaNoble · 15/01/2014 17:04

Fingers crossed Ruby.

Rubyshoe · 15/01/2014 17:03

Ermmmmm ......

I need to whisper something, I can't bring myself to say it out loud.....

Did an OPK at lunch time as I read somewhere that they also give you a line if you are pregnant and a line came up.... Not quite as dark as the control but nearly.... Promised myself I still wouldn't test till next week..... Lasted till this afternoon. Did a FRER with afternoon urine and ..... bFP no doubts, not faint, definitely there 10dpo....... Sat on the floor with my daughters ashes and cried (sorry if TMI). So there we are. Fx crossed my little bean sticks and we get to keep this one x

spinningirl10 · 15/01/2014 16:43

Choccy how did you get on at docs, been thinking of you today.

spinningirl10 · 15/01/2014 16:43

AF due today and yes usually on time. I'm sure she's coming!

Doctor....only dtd once about 2/3 days before ov so I'm sure I'm not pregnant! Probably turn up tomorrow.

Onlymydogunderstandsme · 15/01/2014 16:38

Fingers crossed for you Doctor, let us know how you get on.

Hi Misstiggiwinkle, your comment made me laugh as I kept poking mine to wonder if they were sore and wondered the same!

sazzlehopes · 15/01/2014 16:34

Spinning - you have done well resisting the poas urge... Are you normally on time with these things?

DoctorDonnaNoble · 15/01/2014 15:45

Spinning - when is AF due?

spinningirl10 · 15/01/2014 15:42

Congratulations OnlyGrin

Welcome newbiesGrin

Af not arrived yet which probably means she'll be here all weekend when we're away!!!

sazzlehopes · 15/01/2014 15:34

Congrats only!
Mama glad you are staying around.
Thinking of you choccy xx

No symptoms for me today. I'm sure it is all in my head... One week to go. I need to be busy to keep my mind off over thinking things...

bumpbangbump · 15/01/2014 15:29

Well I miss calculated xmy dates and I'm actually due on 26th... My birthday!!! I've got people coming for lunch so I think I'll hold of testing until if I'm late. The Monday or Tuesday. So who's gonna be my poas buddy?

Can't believe I'm in my 2ww already. Going to be long!! Luckily I've got loads going on until then so hopefully o won't get carried way and test early. I only have a frer so want to save it as it's so bloody expensive then if the bitch arrives I won't have wasted all that money!

Congratulations only

misstiggiwinkle · 15/01/2014 14:44

Anyone mind if I hop on this bus? I'm a newbie, ttc#1, cycle 2 and bfp due on the 27th. I'm in the early stages of the nail biting 2ww...and starting to symptom spot (although I think I'm imagining most of them!) I think my boobs are only sore coz I keep poking them to see if they hurt!

I've started taking conception vitamins, anything else I should be doing to hurry this along?!

DoctorDonnaNoble · 15/01/2014 14:22

That's brilliant only. I'm going to test tomorrow but not hopeful for a positive result. But DH is going away for an adventure race on Friday. Thought I was having period pain earlier but that's gone now without pain relief - would never happen normally to me, boobs are a little bit bigger but that's it, I'm desperately trying not to feature spot as it just makes me cry! I'm going to the gym later to punch things and run - that'll make me feel better!

Onlymydogunderstandsme · 15/01/2014 14:13

Mrsb it was meant to be on Monday and I resisted testing until yesterday. I was really disappointed yesterday as I felt pg, have been off my food, feeling tired and my boobs feel very full like with DS so thought I was imagining things. Then when I realised about an hour later that the control line hadn't appeared I realised the test hadn't worked. This morning it tested positive near enough straight away, I have quite long cycles though so it means I'm 5weeks today.

Doctor sounds like you are having a rough day, hope you are feeling better soon!

EnglishGirlAbroad · 15/01/2014 14:11

Congrats only, that's wonderful news!!
Mama we'd love you to stay and hang out here!! You're always there for a kind word when needed.
Doctor don't feel guilty about the chocolate, sometimes we all need it!! I know how you feel, but you will get your sticky one, as we all will. Sometimes a good moan and/or cry really does help. Hugs.

Having a really rough day today. Off work ill, eaten FAR too much chocolate and just wondering if this will ever happen. I was so happy when I got that BFP, I just want that feeling again. And for it to last. Hmm

mrsb87 · 15/01/2014 13:43

Congratulation onlymydogunderstandsme!! Thats uber exciting!! When was af meant to be due?
