And p.s. sazzle, I see you talking of poas on Monday. I'm trying to hold out until then, can I join you as a poas buddy for then to try to motivate me not to test this weekend?

barmybunting · 16/01/2014 18:59

sazzle, that made me laugh, sorry about the confusion Smile . Sarcasm gone wrong on my parent, I meant there should be no surprise that Dr google didn't give me a straight answer Smile .

Thanks everyone, I was just wondering about implantation bleeding as I think I had it last month with chem, but currently about 10dpo this cycle and I haven't seen anything, so I was wondering if lack of meant I was out the game this cycle as a result. I'm glad to hear it's not that common, fingers crossed Smile . If you need a laugh, although not a nice surprise, it was funny anyway- I was waiting on a street corner outside a pub last night to meet a friend for dinner when a car pulled up. A man stuck his head out and shouted to me, "hey love, you busy?" When I told him to bugger off, he asked if I was waiting for a better offer! I had a good laugh at that.

Imaginary, sorry, but I had a good laugh at your tale. Not what you needed!

Honeybear30 · 16/01/2014 18:56

Hey Sazzle :) it's always nice to see familiar names around the same time i'm expecting af. I have had bad cramps today! I even used a liner all day because I was convinced af was going to show. Due on Sunday but I think I could get caught out tomorrow. Fx she doesn't!

sazzlehopes · 16/01/2014 18:35

Imaginary - no not really any symptoms today...just waiting it out now. Earlist testing would be Monday but I'm going to wait it out as long as I can bear! And your piac reason isn't that bad, what with all the crotch watch chat and cervical inspection. Sniffing your own wee is pretty mild!

Kitty, not necessarily bad - good be any number of other reasons. Implantation etc...

KittyVonCatsington · 16/01/2014 17:55

Oh dear-this isn't a good sign! TMI alert!! Just went to use an OPK and got some thick white V Discharge: period might be on it's way. Not expecting it for about a week or so though Confused

ImaginaryHat · 16/01/2014 17:51

Neither, it was for a gross reason so I suppose I deserved it really! I noticed that the last 2 months when I conceived that when I was testing my wee was really smelly, so symptom spotting like a crazy person I wanted to see if it was this month! It wasnt, and now i have it all down my cardigan. That'll teach me to be so disgusting won't it! How are you doing, any symptoms? (Not had chance to read back all of today).

Also, welcome MrsExtra Smile

sazzlehopes · 16/01/2014 17:46

Ha Imaginary! Good surprise and you cheered me up! Hope you're ok though? Was it for an opk test or a preggo test?!!

ImaginaryHat · 16/01/2014 17:45

Sazzle, I piac, then stumbled whilst holding it and promptly tipped it down my front, that was a surprise! Gross!

EnglishGirlAbroad · 16/01/2014 17:37

MrExtra, You're in the right place! Welcome! Hope you get your bfp soon!!

sazzlehopes · 16/01/2014 17:33

I've reread your message properly now, i'm an idiot. You meant 'there's a surprise' not 'there IS a surprise'.
Oh well.... Blush Hmm

MrsExtraOrdinary · 16/01/2014 17:32

Hello I think I might have got on the wrong bus! I'm new to these boards, although I may be here some time if last baby is anything to go by.

My af is due on 22nd (Wednesday) which is also my bday.

I thought I'd well and truly missed the boat this month but am unbelievably tired and very Hungary for at least a week. I even made cakes! So now I'm wondering?!

I'm hoping I won't turn into a neurotic lunatic like last time waiting.....

ImaginaryHat · 16/01/2014 17:30

Barmy, I think I read something way back in my early days of ttc that's said implantation bleeding only happens about 10% of the time, we just hear about it a lot on here because obviously theres a large number of people talking about conception. Therefore because we hear/talk about it a lot its seems much more common than it actually is. Have no memory of where the stat came from though!

Knottyknitter · 16/01/2014 17:21

Barmy, ib isn't as common as you think, more don't have it than do, overall, and not universally a good thing if it is there, as too early to tell iyswim. Promising though...

EnglishGirlAbroad · 16/01/2014 17:08

Barmy... I dont think everyone gets i/b. I did with last bfp, was browny red and a bit snotty looking. Lasted 2 days.

sazzlehopes · 16/01/2014 17:04

Barmy - what is with your cryptic message?! I don't remember implantation bleeding at all with my first.... Spill the surprise- I could do with cheering up I'm having an awful day work wise.

LH - fx crossed for you then that is it is just too early to show. How frustrating to have to wait even longer to know. Hope those bloods turn out ok for you. Keep us posted.

Knottyknitter · 16/01/2014 16:25

Aha, new thread! Hi gals!

Choccy, I hope you get some answers with your results - are you getting a gynae referral regardless or depending on bloods? Might be worth going and speaking to the specialists?

We've been thwarted this time round by hideous low back pain at cd 15. Not charting or ov testing as I know that will send me to the brink, but devastated to have 3 mid cycle days where I couldn't stand DP turning over in bed, let alone dtd! Feeling better slowly though, and it's not over till AF arrives...

barmybunting · 16/01/2014 16:23

choccy I'm so sorry to read your update. You are so positive, I have immense admiration for you. I only wish it wasn't due to such a crappy situation. Thank goodness the gp is running tests. Please let us know how you get on.

As a random question, Dr google is giving me conflicting advice, there's a surprise Wink . But can anyone clarify- does everyone get visible implantation bleeding with pregnancy or not? ie. if you don't have it, does it mean you aren't pregnant or is it more unusual that it appears at first glance? Thanks!

lifehasafunnywayofhelpinguout · 16/01/2014 13:27

Although I have to say my body really does confuse me at times. xxx

lifehasafunnywayofhelpinguout · 16/01/2014 13:27

Yay I'm out of limbo. A.F back with a vengence. Now, that's something I thought I'd never say, but at least I know where I stand. xxx

EnglishGirlAbroad · 16/01/2014 13:06

Fingers crossed for you LH, I'm sure you'll be fine. Smile

It's what happened to me. Message me if you want any info

LH1981 · 16/01/2014 12:52

Hi Ladies,

Choccy hope you're holding up ok, thinking of you. xx

Well, I just had a dating scan and now I'm all worried and stressy. Doctor couldn't see anything. She said there's 3 possible reasons. 1 is ectopic, which she ruled out. 2 is early miscarriage, which again, she said is unlikely as I've had no bleeding and the 3rd reason would be because it's just too early.

So, seeing as I only just got my bfp on Sunday (and confirmed with digi on Tuesday), then I'm hoping that's why. So all that limbo was just that, a missed period and caught in December. Really early days then, and so now just so anxious for all to be ok.
Had bloods done and have to go back Saturday to repeat so they can make sure that the levels are doubling. Fingers crossed very tightly.

sazzlehopes · 16/01/2014 11:58

Hi allchat nice to see you here.

Spinning so sorry AF found you, I know you weren't hopeful this month, but I hope that next cycle goes really well for you and your DP can relax and you get lots of dtd KOALA style! x

Choccy - who knows if this is helpful but a friend of mine who like you fell pg 'easily' but lost 2 very close together had to inject herself daily to make baby stay put? Not sure with what exactly but fx it is working and she is into her 3rd trimester now. She had a breeze with her first pg so the mc she suffered were very odd. Hope this helps you, and glad you had all your bloods done today so you get some results soon.

Ginger hows things? Have you had you results yet?

Moffit sorry that af got you too.

lifehasafunnywayofhelpinguout · 16/01/2014 11:30

Yes indeed mama. Choocy is certainly insparational. When I suffered my loss I was all for giving up but D.P talked me round. I still do get fearful that something could go wrong again but you can't base your life on fear or none of us would do anything would we.
AAARRRGGHH back in limbo land again. I woke up this morning after A.F's intrusion with only spots of blood on my towel and watery blood meaning my period has slowed down. At least with a straight forward period you know what's going on.
D.D going out later on after school and I've had a few days off work so D.P is coming down at 4 before he goes to work for an hour of baby making. Well you have to fit it when you can and although I am very very unlikely to be fertile at the moment. It does no harm to practice. xx

mama31 · 16/01/2014 11:17
