mrsextra I assume you are not the lady who chose to share what she does with toothpaste?! It was that part of the conversation that had me in absolute hysterics! You are all quite welcome for the giggles :)

Re: legs in the air...how essential is this? I normally run straight to the loo after dtd but assuming af comes in the next couple of days I might try this. I wonder if maybe this is the problem as the swimmers come out so quickly! (Sorry waaaaaay tmi I know but who else can I discuss this with !)

sazzlehopes · 16/01/2014 20:12

Barmy, yes be my poas buddy - i'm holding out til monday AT LEAST as that will be 10-12dpo as I'm not entirely sure when i ov. So if I can hold out further I'd be better but we will see how I feel!!!

KittyVonCatsington · 16/01/2014 20:12

That's me right now! Legs crossed... Up in the air!!. That's my girl Grin

I'm sometimes like that before DTD... Do I go to the loo or strike while the iron's hot??!!

Owlie84 · 16/01/2014 20:08

MrsB, I'm having mild AF style pains too and I'm not due til next Sunday! Fingers crossed eh?!

LittleMissSunshine33 · 16/01/2014 20:08

OnlyMyDog hope you're ok!! Must have been scary?!

Honeybear that is so funny!!

English I'm exactly the same after DTD! And for some reason I've had the giggles after which doesn't help matters!!

ImaginaryHat · 16/01/2014 20:03

Oh my goodness I can't breathe. Literally crying so hard with laughing, tears rolling down my face, can't get my words out laughing. Dh thinks Ive officially lost it. Whenever I'm feeling down I'm going to read a bit of that thread. Thank you for sharing honeybear!

mama31 · 16/01/2014 20:02

Mrsextraordinary don't worry we share everything on these threads!!!! Haha!!!!

mrsb87 · 16/01/2014 20:01

mama31 · 16/01/2014 19:58

sazzlehopes · 16/01/2014 19:58

I notice MrsKoala aka chief peddler is first to comment on that thread! Amazing!!

EnglishGirlAbroad · 16/01/2014 19:55

After DTD anyone else struck by battle between the desperate need for a wee and wanting to keep swimmers in as long as possible! That's me right now! Legs crossed... Up in the air!!

hi everyone, hope you all have had a good day.

had a bad start to the day when I had someone drive into the back of me on the way to work! luckily DS was absolutely fine, I seem to have some whiplash but got checked out by the doctor as wanted reassurance it wouldn't have hurt the little bean. Doctor said it would be fine but try to avoid painkillers this early in pregnancy so going for a bath in a min to try to relax!

Choccy I hope you are feeling better after seeing your friend.

Mammy2Be · 16/01/2014 19:52

Can I hop on board ladies? TTC#2, cycle #3.
BFP due 24th Jan-ish. Might try to wait until the following week to POAS as I have very irregular cycles and so would hate to get a disheartening BFN if I then get a BFP the following week.
Although I would say my chances of holding out another week are pretty slim

MrsExtraOrdinary · 16/01/2014 19:49

Honeybear I'm on that thread!!Blush

KittyVonCatsington · 16/01/2014 19:45

Just had a quick glance,Honeybear and it made me chuckle! DH can in after work and I pounced on him even though he had just cycled home from work and was sweaty. Seems that TTC negates a preference for sex hygiene! Needs must Grin

missmrsmummy · 16/01/2014 19:34

I don't get what crotch watch is? Is it looking for AF?

Honeybear30 · 16/01/2014 19:34

Ladies I've just come across this if you need a giggle ...

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/1968244-Are-you-ALWAYS-sex-ready?pg=13&order=

I only got three pages in but it is BRILLIANT.

missmrsmummy · 16/01/2014 19:33

barmy I'm a teacher and I love grammar! It's there's :-)

MrsExtraOrdinary · 16/01/2014 19:31

Grin Hi everyone, glad I'm in the right place. The wee sniffing made me laugh as my top symptom was baking! Blush

Mind you I've nearly be headed my dh with what i would say is raving pmt. but I also cried today 3 times just because I'm tired?! Shock Verging on the pathetic ness! Did think about knicker watch earlier but forgot I was wearing black pantsHmm

LittleMissSunshine33 · 16/01/2014 19:27

Oh choccy hope you're ok sending lots of (((hugs))) your way!
LH fingers X if she's ruled out the others then I'm sure it's just early!!

I came home today to find OH laying on the floor he's hurt his back! Poor thing ... No DTD for us typical as still on flashing smileys!!

mrsb87 · 16/01/2014 19:16

Hehe barmy that made me chuckle!! Hope everyone has had a good day? Been an uber busy day at work with a few stressful elements!
Been having period type pains today but af not due til satursay next week, 6dpo. Hoping its a good sign!!

barmybunting · 16/01/2014 19:10

I wish mumsnet had a proof checker, I meant mistake on on part, not my parent!!

And you've got me thinking sazzle. Grammatically, should it be there's a surprise or theres a surprise? I think it should be there's as a contraction for there is but in that sentence, it doesn't look right. Confused now! Can any fellow teachers or grammar lovers shed any light?

barmybunting · 16/01/2014 19:07

honey goodness knows what they were doing! I don't know if he was just having me on or what, he sat in the car beside the pub after that and I walked away. It was in the centre of Edinburgh as well, hardly somewhere quiet to pick someone up!

Honeybear30 · 16/01/2014 19:05

barmy that's so funny!! I can't believe that happened?! Surely it only happens in cheesy cop shows lol? Ha ha!
