Hi imaginary! No after 2 months of no opking I figured I'd like to know when I ov this month! Don't know why, I just think I end up guessing how many dpo I am anyway so I might as well get that bit right!! How are you doing? Opk is slightly stronger today but not positive so I'm thinking O day will be Monday....DH is off tomorrow and Sunday so planning a wkend of dtd ;) and will see where we can fit it in early next week also!

Well I just purchased Manuka honey....honestly didn't mean to....was in Holland and Barrett for something else and bumped in to a whole shelf of manuka honey staring at me.....so Koala Plan is fully in action now....Mrskoala where are you??? You should be so proud of me ;)

I took a tablespoon of it about an hour ago....boke!!!! but needs must ;) mrskoala I'm putting all my faith in this plan now.....hope it works!!!!!! :)

MrsNelis · 17/01/2014 19:10

BFN. However hard I strain my eyes and what ever angle I look at it, it's still a BFN. Still it's only cycle one and AF is not due to show her ugly face until at least Sunday. I still might test again with morning pee on Sunday or Monday if AF is not here on time.

LittleMissSunshine33 · 17/01/2014 19:04

Hope you have an amazing break choccy!

Thanks English that's very reassuring!!

I had cuddles with my friends three day old today!! OMG what a mix of emotions I felt.. Broody, tearful, happy, upset and jealous all in one! But glad I saw her, it makes what I'm doing and the crazy conception bubble I'm in so worth it!!! Smile

Treaclepie19 · 17/01/2014 18:30

I have no idea why that just posted :s stupid phone.

Treaclepie19 · 17/01/2014 18:30

Trying to catch

ImaginaryHat · 17/01/2014 18:12

Lol Choccy have fun with the condoms!

Thanks onelife I dont feel like so much of a bitch now I know other people think it too! Not seen M33r post in a while, although I dont go on that many other threads, hope she's ok.

8dpo here I think, tested this am and obviously bfn. Feel justified testing early this month as after the 2 early mcs the last two months I want to keep an eye on what's happening in case it happens again. 8dpo is probably stupidly early though! Got a few potential symptoms, but I'm back on the b6 this month and that made me feel funny last time (taking a lower dose now) so it could just be that. Why does time go so slowly in the 2ww?!

Hope you get your +ve opks soon kitty, must be driving you mad!

How you doing mama? You back opk-ing this month or still going with the relaxed approach?

sazzlehopes · 17/01/2014 17:50

MrsN I don't know what cycle you're on but I promise myself every time that I will not worry about the 2ww and every time I go crazy between 4dpo and 12dpo wondering if I've done it. And after 14 cycles I still haven't learnt my lesson and still disappoint myself with a bfn!!! Instead if just waiting for AF to show up! And I know already I'll be no different this cycle!!!

KittyVonCatsington · 17/01/2014 17:17

Have a blast, Choccy!!

Its Christmaas, I have experienced what you have since coming off the Pill and is perfectly normal and yes, all done to those pesky hormones!

CD25 and STILL NO +VE OPK, GAAH! Still, DTD every other day is keeping DH extremely happy! Well done on the BFP, sparrow and harsh luck to all the BFNs. Going out tonight and going to be having to sneakily reduce the obvious signs I am not drinking, oh the joys!!

Happy Friday, Ladies Grin

MrsNelis · 17/01/2014 16:43

Sazzle

I was determined not to obsess about all this, however after reading a week by week account of pregnancy this afternoon and then looking at the science of early pregnancy tests and discovering canyouseealine.com I am close to giving in. I want to poas! Its so hard keeping a level head.

I'm going to go home and try and talk myself out of it! Confused

sazzlehopes · 17/01/2014 16:37

No symptoms today. No matter though ever hopeful I'm off to buy superdrug preggo tests tomorrow to use some point next week when my resolve not to poas until AFTER af is due fails!

mama31 · 17/01/2014 15:55

Choccy....enjoy getting to grips with those!!! Haha!!!! Sure its good to try everything once!! ;)

Congrats sparrow! :)

onelifeonechance · 17/01/2014 14:50

I've not been on for a couple of days and just want to say how sad I am for you Choccy, so sorry to read of what you're going through. Take care of yourself and follow everyone's very good advice, we're all thinking of you and rooting for you x

Ruby shoes, I am so very pleased to read of your bfp, wishing you lots of love and luck

Congrats to the other BFPs and so sorry spinning and those who af rudely got, best of luck for the Feb bus

4dpo here - NOTHING to report!!

Imaginary, you are def not a bitch and I admit to the 'well good for you' sarcastic little voice in my head happening when I first hear of BFPs despite how much I love or like the person saying it (apart from you guys on here!!) Hope it's not made you feel too meh, hang in there hon, we'll get there Smile

Has anyone seen m33r? Hope you're ok! Lots of luck as always xx

MrsNelis · 17/01/2014 14:28

Excellent news sparrow! I'm 36 and very concious about age. Your great news certainly makes me feel better.

SparrowSG · 17/01/2014 14:21

Newbie here Smile

TTC #1, cycle 4. AF due yesterday, BFP today!

Giving hope (I hope) to the 'oldies' here as I am almost 39.

Good luck all.

Blithereens · 17/01/2014 14:14

AF turned up this morning. Alas. Weird one really - incredibly late and absolutely no symptoms or spotting, which I usually get.

Ah, well.

MrsNelis · 17/01/2014 13:55

Choccy, I've been following your story so sorry :'o(

TTC#1 Cycle#1 BFP due 19Jan

2WW is coming to an end, AF is due on Sunday/Monday. I have not had any symptoms and did not time DTD very well (DTD twice at either extreme of the fertile window). I'm pretty sure I ovulated on 15Jan but OPK was never positive. Somehow I still have a glimmer of hope at the possibility of a BFP and not looking forward to AF spoiling my day dreams.

In February there will be no OPKs and lots of DTD, I just want to get on with it :o)!

Choccywoccydodah · 17/01/2014 13:48
Smile ((Whispers)) I have just bought condoms Shock. Me and dh have been together 16.5 years and we've NEVER used them, this'll be fun Wink
mama31 · 17/01/2014 13:19

That's just what you need choccy!!!! Take care! Xx

Ps what madness....me?! really?!! ;)

ItsChristmaass · 17/01/2014 13:13

Also good luck Choccy. Thanks
I hope you start to feel better soon and stay positive. I hope things work out for you. X

ItsChristmaass · 17/01/2014 13:10

Congrats to all the latest a bfps.
And sorry to all those af has got.

Need a bit of advise..
Been having af type pains for the past 6 days (from cd15, on day 21 now) they can get quite strong from time to time. Spoke to my nurse today and thinks it's high levels of progesterone making the pains. Has anyone ever had this? I never have. I thought it may of been cuz of the clomid treatment. Any input welcomed lol Smile

EnglishGirlAbroad · 17/01/2014 12:44

Good luck Choccy. I'm glad that your scan showed no issues internally.
Enjoy your break with your family, you sure need it. I hope you do get to the bottom of things and wish you all the love and luck in the world that you do get your longed for sticky one. You really are incredibly strong and positive. Lots of love x

Choccywoccydodah · 17/01/2014 12:25

Thanks ladies. We've actually got a break planned mama for next mon-fri. Going back to bluestone in wales with my gorgeous man and beautiful boy with some friends. Just what I need tbh and it couldn't have come at a better time.

You have all been great and supportive and you will never realise how much being on here has helped. I don't have masses of friends in rl that I am offload to and for you all to be here to rant, cry and/or celebrate with has been wonderful.
Big hugs to you all.

I prob won't be on for a bit, but thank you all for everything and I wish you all and your eventual babies a very happy, healthy and wonderful future.
Lots of love xxxx

Ps I will miss your madness mama xx

mama31 · 17/01/2014 12:05

Hey choccy, glad your scan showed no issues and good luck for rest of results. I really really hope you can plan a timetable of lovely things for your month off ie: massages/beauty treatments/manicures, lunches with Friends, dinner dates with DH and if possible a little wkend break away somewhere would do you the world of good....a spa break is what you need my love!!!! take care of yourself and let us know how your doing! Thinking of you xx

BeatrixKidding · 17/01/2014 11:54

IUI cycle 1, BFP was due 19th Jan.

Not wanting to wait, we used one of those mega-early predictor kits and it gave us a negative the day before yesterday. Which I was kind of expecting because surely to goodness they've got to be a bit vague if you're only a week from conception, right?

Sadly, wrong. Hello Auntie Flo. Bugger.

So we're back off to the clinic in Denmark again the weekend after next. Which, whilst quite exciting, is also a bloody long way to go for a little pipette of spunk...

bellaboo88 · 17/01/2014 11:40

Hi all, just got back, holiday was fantastic to take my mind off stuff!!

Sorry to all with AF & non sticky :( & congrats to those with bfps!

Predicted ov tomorrow (cd15) but last month I got it on cd17 I think (due to huge glob of ewcm)

Going to what someone said about fmu, it does say on packet about getting it at room temp, does any1 do this? I'm too impatient! X
