Sorry missmrs, kitty and sleeping hope you're all ok :( Good luck on the feb bus!

Fingers x English! Congratulations to you Munday!!! I'm holding off til tomorrow

KittyVonCatsington · 23/01/2014 06:50

Sadly, I think I'm been chucked off the bus with the nasty arrival of AF, this morning. Definitely not pink or brown now. Was so convinced I might have been lucky as well with the nausea, tiredness, pinching etc. oh well, I hope I see none of you on the Feb bus! (however, just reading back, mrsmissmummy, sounds like you are too. So very sorry but look forward to supporting each other on the Feb 'Valentines Day' bus)
Thanks for all the Jan support guys-it's been a great journey!!!! Grin

EnglishGirlAbroad · 23/01/2014 06:49

After thinking my temps were going in the right direction to detect ov for Sunday/Monday I've now come to the conclusion that ov didn't and isn't going to happen. Trying not to feel down about it, but it's hard. I want this so much that the non-ovulation is like a kick in the teeth after last month!
Now just want AF to rear her ugly head so I can have a (hopefully) normal cycle next month!
Sorry AF got you MissMrs! I've already saved my seat on feb so I'll see you there!

Another bfn this morning and my temp has dropped. AF will be arriving in the next 24 hours Sad

Might give the buses a rest for a bit and try to relax about everything a bit more. Good luck to everyone.

MundayCakes85 · 23/01/2014 04:46

Sorry about AF missmrs good luck on the feb bus.
Who's our next BFP? Think Jan is pretty lucky so far!
So I caved yesterday afternoon and did a CB Digi. Pregnant 1-2 weeks!! I'm on a night shift so was asleep when DH got home. Left it with a post it note, obviously he didn't spot it so pointed it out and he was so excited.

bellaboo88 · 23/01/2014 00:07

*barmy...my tablet predicts & replaces grr!!

bellaboo88 · 23/01/2014 00:06

Badly, I get it too.....I worry that I won't have a career wen kids go to school....I'm having a break after having my small business but this means no maternity, no job seekers & I'm not even getting interviews.

I'm scared my money won't last. Biggest thing is holidays....its not fair to take a baby far. Were not married nor engaged & I dread that will happen post kids when my figures gone..I doubt I'll ever get it back.

X

barmybunting · 22/01/2014 23:25

Thanks missmrs! I'm sorry to hear af has turned up and you are off to the Feb bus. Good luck there! Thank you though for sharing my fears, I'm glad it's not just me! When you think about it the other way, delaying ttc or not having children, it isn't even a possibility, so that's maybe a better way to think of it! To look forward to that bfp and not worry about the rest, life carries on, there are millions of us on the planet to show that thankfully Smile ! Easier said than done though?

missmrsmummy · 22/01/2014 23:14

*too soon

missmrsmummy · 22/01/2014 23:13

Spoke too so - AF is definitely here.

Reluctantly going to look for the Feb bus. Hope to Hope not to see you all there!

Good luck. I'll be popping back to see updates!

missmrsmummy · 22/01/2014 23:12

Yes barmy I had a dream the other night that I got my BFP and I was terrified (in the dream). Also I am only 4 months into a new job (and already changed jobs several times) so I'm not settled and don't know how it'd look at my new place of work. Or how work would work after maternity! So much to think about, maybe unnecessarily seeing as I'm not even pg yet! I'm sure as people say, you just manage and make it work xx

barmybunting · 22/01/2014 22:57

This is maybe a strange question, but does anyone else get cold feet (not literally Smile ) in this ttc business when you think of the realities of trying to be parents to a new baby? I am having a major attack of that tonight!

It's not the baby thing in general that scares me, it's the idea of timing. We will be moving again next Dec, potentially anywhere in the UK but with a high likelyhood of having to go to the US for three years with DHs job. He is also embarking on a fairly demanding new job and course this month which finishes in Dec, MIL keeps phoning to tell me I must leave him enough time to study, basically she means I mustn't live in his pocket. This drives me mad, given that in the last 2 1/2 years that we have been married, he has spent at least 18 months of that away with his job, with much of that time in Afghanistan, I have never lived in his pocket, our marriage has always very much been about us having our own lives and grabbing what time we can have together. I don't know why though, but MILs words have just panicked me though! I don't want to try to move with a newborn, or live even further away from family than we already do when trying to deal with being new parents.

Sorry everyone, this is just an attack of nerves! Writing it down, I've decided it's actually DH's job that panics me, not the idea of a new baby! And I know that there is never a perfect time to have a new baby. But goodness when I actually let myself think about the practicality of things, it is nervewracking! I remember having a very similar conversation about this with someone two buses ago I think.

Please tell me I'm not alone in thinking "what the hell are we doing, trying to have a baby?" sometimes!?

missmrsmummy · 22/01/2014 22:39

Yay Munday I can see a line! Fx for poas again tomorrow and getting a clearer result!

missmrsmummy · 22/01/2014 22:39

Oh exciting LittleBear!

Kitty and Bingo we are all in the same 'spotting' boat! I am on day 3 of pale pinkish-brownish. I hope it might not be the dreaded AF for all of us!

Last month it was like this though so it could be 'normal' for me. Will wait and see if it becomes full-blown AF in the morning! Caught me by surprise last time :-(

Littlebear88 · 22/01/2014 22:31

Not posted in a while... Af was due today... No sign! Going to poas tomorrow! I'm a regular 28 day cycle and have never been late!!! Fingers crossed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!EnvyEnvyEnvy

missmrsmummy · 22/01/2014 22:29

Same, Keeping, but it means the 2ww is shorter!

Keepingmyconvertible · 22/01/2014 22:19

I'm out, AF decided to go back to 23 days so I'm off to join the Feb bus. Good luck to everyone that's left!x

BingoBango85 · 22/01/2014 22:05

Yes that's my intention. Monday feels ages away but prob daft to try before. Cheers

EnglishGirlAbroad · 22/01/2014 21:50

Bingo.....I think you need to poas on Monday! (maybe earlier!)! Sounds a bit like i/b to me! Here's hoping!
Kitty,

First 24 hours like a light but normal period, last 24 hours brown gunky stuff. Periods usually last 6 days and I never come early. Pointless trying not to get my hopes up as I already have!

Glad u had a pleasant eve Writer x

MrsExtraOrdinary · 22/01/2014 21:16

I'm glad you had a better evening writer. Sleep and cat cuddles, baby permitting sound like a good plan Wink

Writerwannabe83 · 22/01/2014 21:01

Littlemisssunshine - yes, all those BFPs are just from January Smile

I've just got back from the Cinema, it was nice to spend some quality time with DH and I ate a mahoosive amount of popcorn!! I'm feeling a little better, still not myself but definitely an improvement. I'm now curled up in bed with a cup of tea and having cuddles with one of my cats. Baby is due to wake up soon as his kicks and punches always put a smile on my face so that will help too Smile

KittyVonCatsington · 22/01/2014 20:56

How heavy was your 'bleed', BingoBango? I'm praying that we both are just having spotting and will go onto a healthy pregnancy!!!

The voice in my head is saying 'party's over' for me Sad. Will see what tomorrow brings.

BingoBango85 · 22/01/2014 20:15

My 48 hour (7 day early) bleed as stopped all bar some brown sludge. Not due until Monday and with hubby away I've no distractions......good sign?

mrsb87 · 22/01/2014 19:56
