Can anyone answer me a quick ov question? I haven't gone down the route of opks (yet) as I know I'll get obsessive! But does anyone know if you has to have ovulated to get your AF? I have a very regular 28d cycle and am hoping this means I ovulate bang on mid cycle. I think I'm going to end up buying opks to put my mind at ease!

Only on cd2 and I'm already counting down the days!!

Thats af completely finished so just waiting on ov happening. Decided not to use opk's or temp so just going to dtd every few days. Will wait on cramps and cm and do it more around that time...

I had a dream last night that we found out we were pg and we were so happy. Gutted when I woke up but made me realise how exciting ttc is and I can't wait for our bfp! :)

Pebble definately sounds good to me!!! It is very true...and I do love a long lie in so best make the most of those ;)

A good friend of mine who knows I'm ttc put things in perspective for me by pointing out that so many women fall pg without even trying. 90% of women who ARE ttc will do within 12 cycles. The odds are pretty high so just keep at it and in the meantime enjoy sleep filled nights and make the most of child free evenings when you can. Ad hoc cinema trips and weekend breaks will soon be a thing of the past. Enjoy life now and be excited for the future without stressing.

Moffit it's very true...no one knows what the future holds really....so I definately do not put life on hold for ttc!!! There are a few changes I've made but I'm still living life to the full and having lots of fun ;)

Waves to Allchat!!!! We haven't tried with DH finishing up before me yet....will try it tomorrow for the first time ever!!! so yes could be interesting...im sure it takes skill to get it right haha! DH is up for the challenge anyway!

Also I just purchased some Manuka Honey (by accident, bumped in to a shelf of it staring at me so had to buy). So fully have Koala Plan in action now!!!! Here's hoping it works!!!!

Well my phone app tells me that im in my fertile windowI should ov tomorrow. We dtd last night and mosmost probably will again tonight but ive had no ewcm this month...hopefully this wont affect my chances too much...when I qas reading up on pregnacare conception a few women said it made their ewcm disappear...wonder if that's the problem? ??

Thanks for the link sazzle - really helpful. Going to stick to two cups of green tea a day then. Frankly I'll do whatever it takes (and then binge when AF arrives).

Ha! I read about coming after DP a few months ago. We do try it, but he's usually in a heap and I'm left to finish myself off! Not the most romantic!

I know ladies, the 2ww is just horrific! I've tried everything....keeping busy, not opking so I don't know how many dpo I am, all sorts of distractions...nothing works really so I'm just going to embrace the fact that I will always get my hopes up, obsess and poas like an addict until the sheer disappointment of af strips me of my hopes and dreams!!!! :(

It's awful wishing our lives away until the next time we can poas.....but I am learning to continue living life to the full and it will happen when the time is right!!! I will reduce caffeine and alcohol, be fit and healthy as much as I can be...but I will not remove life's pleasures completely because fate decides when the time is right and life is for living ladies :)

Mama the 2w sleep sounds like a great idea. Last month I had this really awful feeling that I was just wishing my life away waiting until af/bfp. It's horrible- I actually remember thinking on a friday I would be glad when the weekend was over as it was then only x number of days until I could poas....crazy....

I'm having a stinker of a day. AF started this morning with a vengeance. Looking after my friends teething 9 mnth old. And my bro and SIL announced their pregnancy yesterday. Obviously I'm very pleased for them but it just added to my disappointment. Just had a good old cry.

Wish I knew when my 2ww was lol, I've absolutely no idea! Gonna give it until April for my cycle to come back and then go to docs/nurse. It will have been 12 months since my last depo shot then.

I know how uncomfortable it makes me feel when new babies are brought into the office. It physically hurts, well, it's definitely real pain :(

When I had dc3 I didn't want to take him in as I knew at least 2 ladies that were ttc, one of them through ivf! When I did take him in (after numerous requests) I waited in reception so whoever wanted to come see was welcome to, and whoever found it too uncomfortable could stay away if they wanted.
It worked fine until my old manager grabbed my baby and swanned off into the office parading him around!!

Some people don't think!!! Good news is though that those 2 ladies both conceived and the ivf lady had identical twin girls!! The other lady had a lovely baby boy.

Anyway... Rant over! As you were :)

Well had a glob of ewcm yesterday and more this morning, but can't start koala plan til tomorrow due to DH shifts, not too concerned about that as opks all negative so far and only cd10 tomorrow so plenty time next few days to dtd! Dreading the 2ww and I'm not even at ovulation yet!!! Wish I could sleep for 2 wks and be woken with a bfp at the end of 2ww.....how nice would that be?!!!!

Pebble I know it's quite annoying seeing other people's babies when you want one so much yourself!!! I don't feel angry or annoyed....but sometimes I do feel like kidnapping the babies....lol...im kidding! but I do def get a stomach churn that I have no control over when I see new babies....but our time will come! I'm sure of it :)

Sazzle....to be honest....if someone told me to smear myself with manuka and that it would get me a bfp....pretty certain I'd do it....certain you would too!!! hahaha!!!! DH's may think it's gone a bit too far though lol

I've just switched from coffee to green tea. Just having the one cup of coffee a day now. Also started on the cough syrup! And planning on the upside down cycling this month! Full craziness back in session next week!
