You ladies have made me laugh tonight. I was hoping to dtd tonight but my DH's 5-a-side team obviously had more allure than I did! He's obviously going to be too tired when he gets home and he's working till 2am the next 2 nights too! Followed by 2 night shifts!!

Well, I hope DH will be back from work earlier next week - he's still not home (I know he has a lot on his plate at the moment). Might book 'appointments' in his Outlook calendar… grrrr….

For Nordic. Don't give up hope, my cousin and his wife have just had their 3rd at 40. Their DS1 was IVF but they went on to have 2 more, naturally. And I myself went through my pg with a chronic illness and we both came out the other end ok. Got everything crossed for you x

Having currently decided with DH that we're now ready to try for #2, I'm currently at bus stop waiting for AF which is due anyday and planning to get to work thereafter!

Was v. lucky falling on my first cycle with DC1 - that was completely unexpected....am pretty sure it'll take a little longer this time.

Looking forward to boarding soon and gingers crossed for you all!

period just finished, BFP would be due 16/17th Feb!! Ov expected 2nd feb as per 28day cycle..... I have the ovulation tests, are these good??? Iv never tried them!! TTC #3 first was a MC in november last year, jan missed ovulation day :(
So here i am again!! I so want/need to conceive this month/feb, i'm getting too impatient now

Have "come to terms" with the arrival of AF . Has anyone else though, not bought any more tampons in the hope that they won't be needed? Had to make a de-tour to the pharmacy on the way home.

Think I have stupidly bought the wrong pregnacare vitamins, though. I've both the original and realise from inside the packet that they do special conception ones. Should I go back to the pharmacy?

Managed to dtd last night so will try for tomorrow too! Haha. No idea if im ov or not so may as well dtd as much as we can.

feeling sorry for myself today. A few 12wk scan pictures on fb and a friend told me they are trying to conceive now too (she is the only person who knows that we are)
I have no reason not to be happy for others, just being impatient and want us to get our bfp!

Hi Spinning, I don't find the app reliable for ov either - mine is always 4 days later than it predicts!

Btw - I forgot to share... or let's say I was confused as to how you term it. We've stopped using contraception well over a year ago (18 months?). We had a really laissez-faire attitude to all of this. But really seriously started ttc (i.e. CB monitor, timing, frequency, etc.) about 3 months ago.

So I'll choose to say 'cycle 3' as seeing 'cycle 18' on the board would completely mess up our stats...

I have a very long cycle - so hoping for BFP latest 25 February...

It's ok to moan on here nordicmom - and you've had a rough time so you've got to let it all out somewhere. I wouldn't wait for 12m if you don't want to - go with what you feel you should do.

And sorry to those who wanted other tips, but I'm following plan Koala this month, and sorry if TMI, but I think the manuka honey, though disgusting has really increased my EWCM - unless it's the cycling that's doing it somehow.. On pregnacare too but have been on that for a few months with no discernible differences

Nordicmom ttc 3 cycle 3 BFP 3.2.
Ov was a bit later than expected so have modified my BFP date. Will try to not start testing too early but doubt that I'll last that long ... I'm trying to figure out how many months we'll keep on trying like this if I won't get a positive since have had multiple misscarriages before years ago but always conceived easily . After DS none of my 10 preg lasted and then we had dd (21 m) through IVF and gestational surrogacy . I don't think I can try for 12 m before going to doctors again since if no developments I think my fertility has significantly degreesed. I'll be 39 in the summer and a few years ago I think when I was 34 my hormone levels and egg count were already much lower than averages for my age. Ofcourse I'd rather not do the IVF again let alone the inetrnational surrogacy that took us 3y and cost an arm and a leg so this is incredibly difficult issue for us and I kind of wish I could have just been happy with two kids and moved on but I feel like I'd really like one more person in our family . I must be crazy doing this to myself . Also I do have a chronic illness now due the steroids I was given for misscarriages so would not be a easy pregnancy . So sorry if I come agross negative on this thread! Need to moan sometimes...

mum2kiss I would go with what your body is telling you rather than your app. My cm can vary each cycle, but then so do the amount of days in my cycle 30-37. SO get busy tonite
