For those who have jumped off the January bus. May need assistance for the wonderfully organised ladies who are so brilliant at keeping the stats up to date!

So to start the engine MrsF2510 ttc #1 cycle 2 BFP due 1st Feb x

Welcome charlie and any other newbies I've missed!

My boobs were on fire yesterday! Deep shooting and burning type pains! I had to take my bra off they were that uncomfortable! Trying not to symptom spot is impossible when i know I haven't had that happen ever before!

Charlie343 · 25/01/2014 08:14

Can I just the bus also! TTC #1 cycle 4 AF/BFP due somewhere around 24th Feb!

barmybunting · 25/01/2014 07:49

Hello!

Can I tentatively take a seat on the bus please?

Barmybunting ttc #1 cycle 4 bfp due 28 Feb
(but could be any time as my cycles are all over the place).

My last two cycles have shown faint bfps then bleeding late, so I'm not sure if they've been chem pregnancies. Hopefully February will be the month Smile .

Good to see some heading for early Feb bfps, good luck for the tww!

It's Burns Day/Night tonight so I hope there is much haggis and ceilidh enjoyment planned for some of us tonight Smile . Have fun!

Longo · 24/01/2014 19:41

I'm on my 2ww also, defo ovd earlier this month, although only watching cm and ov pain. If it doesn't happen this month i'm buying it all!!

pebble82 · 24/01/2014 19:40

Thanks Snowbells.

He goes through "episodes". Usually lasting about a week. We've been together 3 years and it's happened about 4 or 5 times. On some occassions he just doesn't go to work, stays in bed, lights off, curtains drawn and then eventually just gets better. It's heartbreaking and also really frustrating as I always feel it's something I've done (but also don't think it is).

He's said it's work but I'm not sure why or whether this is an excuse/reason to shut me up asking. He snaps at me when I try and talk to him and is unwilling to agree that it could be actual depression rather than him "just wanting to be left alone"

Unfortunately he's really not a therepy kind of person. Last time he went through this, after he felt better I suggested he see his/my GP but he says I'm being ridiculous and changes the subject.

I just fear that the thought of the responsibility of a baby is the REAL issue (rather than work) but he doesn't want to say for fear of upsetting me. This could all be in my mind though.

I've read up on depression and it says people have to be down for periods of weeks at a time. I don't think he is - it's more extreme sadness for a few days. I think I'll make an appointment with a doctor soon to try and talk through things.

Sorry to moan - it feels good writing it down but this is probably the wrong place!

SnowBells · 24/01/2014 19:25

Oh pebble82… Thanks

How long has he been depressed? Could it be work? Or do you really think it's about tic? You said he's been fine for months - does that mean he has had depression before?

Would it be possible to see a couples therapist to talk about what you two are going through?

SnowBells · 24/01/2014 19:19

OK. DH is back home. But apparently he's too tired and wants to chill. Dtd postponed to tomorrow!!! Sad

pebble82 · 24/01/2014 19:07

Having thought I OVd earlier this week I now have slight ewcm!! Weird! My temp was up yesterday but down today (pre "OV" was 36.18-36.23 ish, yesterday was 36.41 and today back to 36.28)

Come on body, sort yourself out!!

I'm now so confused about everything. And to top it all off my DP has hit a bad patch. He has undiagnosed depression and it's really tough at the moment. I'm now really worried if I do get BFP that it's the wrong time and that all the ttc DTD has triggered his depression. Also worried when the right time will be to have a family (if ever!) and if we've made a terrible mistake. He's been fine for months and looking forward to ttc so this is a real shock. :(

So...I think I'm in the TWW but now got sickningly mixed feelings and feel so horribly lost. I wanted it so so much and now it feels like the scariest thing in the world.

headfullofsweetiemice · 24/01/2014 18:13

genni I'm into my 2ww too. But I'm not feeling optimistic either. I've been thwarted by DH being ill, DS teething and a run of night shifts.

KittyVonCatsington · 24/01/2014 18:11

Amen!

SnowBells · 24/01/2014 17:58

CB monitor showed the first 'high' this morning on CD 9 - which is early for me - so I might as well start tonight. Please pray to the Fertility Gods for a fabulously fertile January/February.

Nordicmom · 24/01/2014 15:01

Thanks for the kind words poly and spinning . So sorry for your loss penguin!!!! It's not easy :(...
Feel so old and creaky , my hips hurt ( because of my ilness ) just from the few dtd . When we first met 13y ago and didn't see each other for a week we once dtd 5 times in 24h;)! I don't know what got over me , I guess I really missed him.
Now don't have to persuade DH either he's always after me but both of us are dead tired in the evenings so had to forget about the smep and just had a few well timed ones . Used to have to literally do it once or twice at most around ov and bam pregnant every time but then a misscarriage . Now so far no result for two cycles am worried nothing will work . I do wonder if I could hold it in if we end up doing IVF . I never tried it on myself after the misscarriages and getting sick from the steroids , we then went straight for gestational surrogacy and did IVF twice for that . No spare eggs or emb so will have to do it all again possibly and don't know if I'd even produce enough this time since only a few both cycles and it was years ago... God my mind is racing . Should be having a nap while dd is before soon getting DS but can't relax . I'm in agony since spent the whole morning cleaning top floor were its always messy after DH and DS if I don't go there to tidy . Well at least it's done now for a while .

SurreyBunny · 24/01/2014 14:55

Hello! Can I join please?

Am TTC#2 Cycle 1 BFP Due 10th Feb (ish)

Took 3 cycles with DD but hoping it's quicker this time as I'm so impatient (the 2ww will kill me)! Temped last time but not getting enough uninterrupted sleep to rely on it so just using the new CB opk's and am on the flashing smiley and hoping for a fixed one over the weekend and have put DH on standby for lots of action Grin

Am looking forward to seeing lots of BFP's - this feels like a lucky bus!

spinningirl10 · 24/01/2014 13:41

Haha dp just told me he was feeling fruity when he got into bed at 3am after his night shift!!!! I said he should have woken me up which he found very funny Grinreally keen to get as much dtd as possible for the next few days but don't want to tell him it's the right time!!

mum2kiss · 24/01/2014 13:11

So sorry to read that penguin...my biggest fear in this whole ttc thing is that my bean won't stick! I had an mc 15 years ago and it's still a huge worry for me

mum2kiss · 24/01/2014 13:08

I will not symptom spot, I will not symptom spot, I WILL NOT SYMPTOM SPOT!!!!

gennibugs · 24/01/2014 12:02

Checking in to say hello – this thread moves fast!
Penguin – I am sorry to read that. Heres hoping for a good Feb for you.

I think im into my 2ww, not holding out any hope for this month as we just didn’t DTD enough what with DH working away and doing very very long hours. He’s been utterly exhausted and I feel then that I cant pester him to DTD on top of that too,
Its actually worrying me a bit as looking at his timetable for the next 2 months its pretty horrendous so not quite sure when we will be able to DTD at the right time! I don’t want to put pressure on him as work is so crazy but equally Im no spring chicken and don’t feel like we have the luxury of potentially just taking our time and seeing what happens. Oh its so complicated isnt it! All that time spent worrying about getting pregnant and it turns out its not so simple after all! ?

EnglishGirlAbroad · 24/01/2014 10:20

Ahhhh Penguin I'm so sorry! It sucks doesnt it! I started bleeding 11 days after my bfp last month. Feel free to rant and moan when ever you like. There's a nice bunch here! Hoping for a more positive ttc journey for you now.

Penguinttc · 24/01/2014 09:01

Hi can I join in please? After getting a few BFP this week, with Ttc #4 on cycle 1 I'm bleeding. Not my first loss, so once I'm sorted we are going to try again. I'm always very fertile the cycle after, so fingers crossed for a BFP on the 20th February!
Polythene girl, my daughter asked for the same thing as her New Year's Eve wish. Heart breaking... But coincided with mine and dps plans to try for one this year.

spinningirl10 · 24/01/2014 08:29

Oh Nordic.... You've really been through it! Feel free to come and offload anytime you want. We're all here for the ups and downs. Really hope you get a sticky bfp soon Thanks

On the subject of dtd my dp just will not perform if he's not in the mood!! And he doesn't like me to try and get him in the mood....iykwimWink I've tried everything and he just gets cross with me!!!! It makes it really hard just hoping that he'll be up for it!! Think I might purchase some new underwear tomorrow and hope that works!!!

MrsF2510 · 24/01/2014 07:38

Your poor DP mum2kiss. Trying to DTD 3 times a week, let alone a day, is a challenge for us, how do you get time?! X

OP posts:
DoctorDonnaNoble · 24/01/2014 05:52

Slow start to this month 's fertile period. DH on lates and I was working until 10 on Wednesday and did a double gym session yesterday! Still, the weekend is upon us. So here's hoping!

PolytheneGirl · 23/01/2014 23:02

Just had a very frank discussion with DH about prime DTD time and he says he'd rather he knows so he doesn't get into trouble. (Don't I sound awful). But he says he's happy to "do it anytime". We'll see how that works out.

Treaclepie19 · 23/01/2014 22:54

Just trying to catch up as I've been busy at work!
Loving the persuading DH topic. Mine needs no persuading...
Haha mum2kiss your poor DH!!!

mum2kiss · 23/01/2014 22:48

My dp doesn't need convincing...I just make.my move if he's not showing any signs of making one!

Did I tell you after our 3 times in a day dtd-athon last week that he burst a blood vesselmin his eye?!
