Evening all!

Think im 6dpo so might test in another 6 days.

Is 12dpo a accurate result? Or would 14dpo be better?

Who am I kidding, I probably wont even wait another 6days!
good thing is, ive ran out of ic's and not up for wasting a lovely frer so will have to wait it out.

a baby is due to arrive into the family in the next day or two so that will keep me busy but increase my broody levels haha

RetroHippy · 29/01/2014 18:34

Been dropping in and out all month, 8dpo now and haven't POAS every day since 6dpo at all

Not been feeling pg (hardly surprising considering it's only a week after I ov'd! But just had a heated conversation with DH about work and got a bit emotional, now my boobs feel a bit weird, but could very probably be all in my mind! I keep prodding them, so I can't decide if they hurt just cause I'm poking Grin.

I usually have irregular cycles, so no idea when to expect AF, though I did get a positive OPK this month.

Can't handle the not knowing!! will keep up my daily testing

BingoBango85 · 29/01/2014 18:16

Feeling Snowbells post!!

Treaclepie19 · 29/01/2014 18:16

Thanks broody
Fingers crossed I am ovulating... Rubbish day at work today too. Good luck to all those getting ready to POAS! :)
My 20 IC's arrived today :)

seasavage · 29/01/2014 17:15

That sounds great. Off to Denmark with DH in March (though not to clinic). Best wishes. And to all.
I am at a crazy symptom spotting of 2ww now.
Today's is definitely weird. I feel I don't want anything on my waist. Hard to describe (like there's an elastic band pushing in there but not quite). I had this in previous pregnancies (but only after 20 weeks). probably just eating too much .

BeatrixKidding · 29/01/2014 16:57

My partner and I went off to the wonderful Vitanova clinic in Denmark again yesterday for IUI cycle No.2. Out and back in a day is quite a journey, but it all went well and I'm feeling really positive about this one.

Good luck to everyone else on the bus. We'll be testing for the first time on the 11th February, so fingers crossed for second time lucky and a BFP for us, too.

MrBsMrsB · 29/01/2014 16:49

Hi all,

Hope it's ok to join. My BFP is due on 11th Feb - Wouldn't a +ve HPT be the most amazing Valentines gift Grin
Been using the One Step OPKs and got +ve lines on CD11, 12 & 13 (Is that even normal?) BD'd' on CD7, 9, 11, 12 and 14 - so hopefully I have covered all bases.

MrBsMrsB ttc#1 cycle 2

Fingers crossed for a load of BFPs and Sept/Oct babies

mama31 · 29/01/2014 15:39

Tried b6, and most other things really! So reflexology is my next experiment!!

Spinning thanks! I just feel like it must be my turn soon....really....its just got to be....and I know I don't deserve it anymore than anyone else.....but I just hope it's my turn soon! and yours!!! X

spinningirl10 · 29/01/2014 15:06

Hi Sazzle....good to see you Grin

Mama.....I'm really sorry spotting has startedHmm definitely lots of prosecco at weekend! Reflexology sounds like a good idea for you, it really could help with your cycles. Think docs is also a good step. Keeping fx as always that you get your well deserved bfp soon xxx

naty1 · 29/01/2014 13:54

Some people have had success with b vitamins

mama31 · 29/01/2014 13:47

Thanks sazzle! I've emailed a clinic to try and get a reflexology session for next wkend. DH is making GP appointment when he checks his work shifts for a swimmers check and I'm going back to the GP to discuss further tests! Feeling quite glum but have nice plans this wkend and next so I'm just going to pick myself up and have lots of fun and drinks!!

I don't temp, but this is def usual pre af spotting, it's always the same! 8 cycles in and it never changes! The day I don't spot will be the day I get my bfp! I'm sure!

gennibugs · 29/01/2014 13:35

Thank you Sazzle. That I think will lift alot of people's spirits.

"DH is also feeling the strain... today's lifestyle of constantly working is really not conducive in TTC".

I totally get where you are coming from on this Snowbells - I said this to DH last week.

broodysnoopstie · 29/01/2014 13:28

sazzle what a lovely positive post Thank you Grin trying to obsess less and relax and if this month isn't for me then next will be..

sazzlehopes · 29/01/2014 13:14

Hi all, just popping in to catch up on your news over lunch.

Mama - so sorry to hear spotting has started. Defo see your doctor about it, there must be a reason, and perhaps another test to work out why. I would also think reflexology is worth a try to try and sort that out for you too. Enjoy LOTS of prosecco over the weekend, you deserve it. Hugs to you.

Broodie, definitely don't deny yourself the treats - I really don't think glasses of wine and dairy milk bars will stop you getting pregnant, enjoy it while you can!

Spinning - 2ww week. Eeek. Fx for you, and glad you got 3 dtd sessions in at the right time Grin

Barmy - glad you had reflexology, wow blue hair hey!! Hope your next one goes ok. Did it hurt round the ankles? Mine absolutely killed there. And make sure you drink plenty of water after. I think they free up stuff so you need to flush it out.

To all the rest of you obsessing over symptoms during ov and dpo. I had none. I still have no symptoms apart from a bloated belly. No sore boobs, no sickness, no tiredness...nothing. So don't worry, no symptoms doesn't mean you're out. Also with regards to ov, most months i had a clear ov pain, this month i fell pg i don't remember much. I also didn't get much ewcm (i never did which is why i drank the venos) so you never know ladies! FX for you all.

SnowBells · 29/01/2014 13:07

Hitting a bit of a depressed mood. Maybe it's the weather. Anyway, it's one of those days where you hear people getting pregnant straightaway, etc. and you just want to burst into tears but can't because you have to keep a happy face.

You are told to use protection, etc. but nobody ever tells you that getting knocked up can actually be difficult. Off to the docs on Monday to find out the results of my blood tests. I wad diagnosed with suspected PCOS previously (scans didn't show anything), but GP wanted to have fresh blood samples.

DH is also feeling the strain... today's lifestyle of constantly working is really not conducive in TTC.

Sorry... just needed to moan.

Lovecuppy · 29/01/2014 13:02

Hello everyone. Hope it's ok to join. Kicked off the January bus last night as AF arrived so feeling a bit glum. Off to hibernate At the back under some blankets.

Lovecuppy. TTC 1. Cycle 6. BFP due 25th February.

broodysnoopstie · 29/01/2014 12:30

You're so allowed to be fed up and sulk mama but we will all be here all month ready for when you are feeling better xx

naty1 · 29/01/2014 11:35

Mama. Havent read all the thread, have you been temping as well?
Just wondering if your temp is low?
What did dr say about short lp?
As well as pcos i now have hypothyroidism and this can cause short lp.
Have you had bloods done already?

mama31 · 29/01/2014 11:25

Ladies unfortunately this is pretty standard stuff for me spotting 4 days prior to af! Def not implantation, just af dragging in as per usual!

Oh well, prosecco for me this wkend.....alot of prosecco!!!!!!!!

Good luck to you all, I hope Feb brings lots of bfp's! I will be heading to the back of the bus to sulk as next af due very end of Feb!! Hate my cycles!!! And body!! And ttc!!!! Fed up!

mum2kiss · 29/01/2014 10:35

mama 8dpo could be implantation! Theres still hope!

I dont feel pregnant either. Af symptoms seem to have gone away too so I have no symptoms at all!

Sleepingstarsmommy · 29/01/2014 10:23

I keep forgetting to temp in the morning. Walk to the loo half asleep then realise I have forgot. Managed it fine last cycle but not this time.

EnglishGirlAbroad · 29/01/2014 09:44

Oh mama..... I'm sorry. Hopefully a trip to the docs can shed some light on things for you. Sending hugs

gennibugs · 29/01/2014 09:41

Mama31 sorry to read that. Is there any chance it might not be AF starting?

I'm fairly sure I won't be poas on Sunday either, woken up with my classic AF symptoms - cramps, pmt and very grumpy and emotional oh and bleeding gums - nice.
Fairly certain I'll be out in a few days. But will be cheering you all on on Sunday too!! :)

At least it's hump day today (Wednesday)

broodysnoopstie · 29/01/2014 09:39

oh Mama! So sorry to hear that. GP appointment sounds like a good idea.. even if it just puts your mind at ease. . At least now you can have a guilt free wine or 2 x

mama31 · 29/01/2014 09:23

8dpo and spotting has started :( pretty steadily as well! No poas for me! Going to make an appointment to see the GP again to discuss my crazy short cycles and pre af spotting that's getting earlier and earlier every time!!!!

Cycle 9, wow! Never thought I'd be saying that!
