For those who have jumped off the January bus. May need assistance for the wonderfully organised ladies who are so brilliant at keeping the stats up to date!

So to start the engine MrsF2510 ttc #1 cycle 2 BFP due 1st Feb x

so sorry t hear that. you'll need your strength t b there for them both. keep strong x

Lovecuppy · 31/01/2014 12:08

Jumping off the buses for the while unfortunately. DPs mum was diagnosed with aggressive cancer last night and we are both devastated. He suffers from depression anyway and this has knocked him for six and seems wrong to continue at the moment.

Wishing all you lovely ladies loads and loads of luck and hope you all get you BFPs super quick xxx

EnglishGirlAbroad · 31/01/2014 11:44

Welcome Newbies, hope your journeys with us aren't too long.

MrsExtra sorry youve had bad news with your thyroid. Maybe a month off will be just what you need to get your bfp. Good luck!! Smile

naty1 · 31/01/2014 11:38

That must be frustrating.
Hopefully the 6 week check will improve things.
Not quite sure why they dont aim for all ttc women under 2 at gps would be silly to end up with ivf for something that could be fixed.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 31/01/2014 11:17

I will ask them to do t3 next time too. It drives me crazy after all this time. Confused

MrsExtraOrdinary · 31/01/2014 11:16

Well today my tsh is 7 and t4 40. Believe it or not when I conceived last time my t4 was 70 something. My ferretin is still 11, which is also too low for me. Ideally when I feel well, I need to be at the far end of the scale. With ferritin being 120. Problem here is I changed gp when I moved 3 yrs ago and not been right since. But now they've agreed I need to be checked 6 weekly. But still no referral.

naty1 · 31/01/2014 11:06

What level are they aiming for.
My ivf wants me to be under 2.5 ideally though i would prefer under 2. (Tsh). As i still feel a bit crappy.

happygoluckyinOz · 31/01/2014 11:00

MrsExtra hope you enjoy practicing this month & not stress too much. I have a couple of friends with thyroid issues when it comes to ttc - I had no idea it could cause so many problems!

Zermatt - yes I like Perth, love the weather & the beaches! DH is less convinced and would like to move over East in a year or so. But with potentially a new baby in a year I'm not sure how that will work in all practicality!!

Wish we could send some sunshine your way Grin you get used to blue skies here - a grey one is an oddity!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 31/01/2014 10:53

Yes I always have for the last 18 years. They've never been able to maintain a good level. I asked for a referral to an endocrinologist last year and was told I couldn't have one. I've not been happy with my gp at all but I'm never sure if out of frying pan into a fire. I under went substantial surgery last year and had to maintain everything. That's all behind me thank goodness but it transpires the bloods they did in November were telling but nobody followed them up. It's just very frustrating.

naty1 · 31/01/2014 10:44

Mrs extra have they told you to take the thyroid meds on an empty stomach?
Just wondering as i wasnt told.

Cineraria · 31/01/2014 10:43

Hi, Can I hop on the bus too please? I've been lurking & learning lots for the last few months but got married and had my coil out last week, so it's full steam ahead now, as I know I've left things quite late and I'd really like us to have our first baby before I hit 40 next year.

So excited to see the first positive test of this month. Congratulations!!! Keeping everything crossed (apart from my legs, of course) to see lots more.

Cineraria: ttc #1 cycle 1 BFP due around 20th February

MrsExtraOrdinary · 31/01/2014 10:38

Congratulations mum Thanks

I've had not such good news today. Had blood results back from yesterday's test. The lab called as pretty bad. A week is fairly standard otherwise. My thyroid and iron levels are rather horrendous. Ive had an underactive thyroid for nearly 20 years, am on very high strength thyroxine. I wish more than anything it would just fuck off and leave me alone. So this may account for the last 2 periods being flood like. So I won't be trying too hard this month, just practising ttc instead. While my doses are upped again and maybe one say they'll stay static. I think the stress of the last month has taken its toll. Wink Anyway I'm always better when I know where I stand on things so not all bad news. I hope everybody has a lovely weekend Thanks for everyone that needs cheering up and a bit of Biscuit!

mum2kiss · 31/01/2014 10:21

I showed my close friend the pics I took and she said "OMG you're pregnant!"

I've had a continuous mild crampiness since yesterday. Will buy a proper test today and test in the morning.

we had new wardrobes delivered yesterday and dp is expecting me to help him.lug them upstairs ans assemble them on sunday! I may have to tell him so he lets me off the hard labour!

gennibugs · 31/01/2014 10:00

happygoluckyinOz · 31/01/2014 08:31

Can I join the bus?

ttc #1 cycle 1 BFP due 8th Feb

Currently 6dpo so really want to try holding out until late next week to test, but wondering how much my resolve will hold out after the weekend! I'm symptom spotting like mad, when really I know it's quite unlikely to get a BFP right after stopping the pill!

EnglishGirlAbroad · 31/01/2014 07:50

Poas stick this morning before permanently leaving the Jan bus, inevitable bfn... But I knew as much! So going to take my seat on the feb bus and hope it's a short journey. 7dpo so not goin to poas til next Friday unless I get booted off before.

mum2kiss · 31/01/2014 07:28

It wont let me.upload.pics at the mo. Will try again later

spinningirl10 · 31/01/2014 07:27
