First cycle trying after MC. AF/BFP due Wednesday 15th....too nervous for words!

Sorry to gate crash, I've been following your comments and, for the first time ever on one of these sites, decided to respond. Hope you don't mind.

I had a miscarriage a couple of weeks ago and we've just been trying to get pregnant again (pretty sure I ovulated today). Really hoping for a BFP on 16th Feb and keen to find out how you all do :-)

Babytinks, I'm pretty sure a +OPK is usually difficult to catch, so only seeing one positive between two negatives is normal, the LH surge is really brief for most women. I believe it means that you ovulate 12-36 hours after you see the +OPK and then have up to 24 hours on top of that for the egg to be fertilised, so you should be fine :-)

Really hoping to hear that you all get your BFPs soon!!

So i done a opk yesterday afternoon and it was negative, one this morning and it was positive and then again now and its negative wtf!!??

I'll do another opk tonight to ensure its still dark lines if not then i will be so upset but hopefully!!

Babytinks, I wouldn't worry if I were you. If you got a positive today then you probably will Ov tomorrow so dtd tonight will be perfect. Also remember that sperm can live for quite a few days so If you dtd on Fri they may just be hanging around waiting for your egg to drop. Good luck!

I got my first positive opk this
Morning around 10am!! but dp is at football all day and not home until tonight, what if i miss it!!!
We dtd early hours of friday morning around 1am... But that was all this weekend because hes been pissed and fallen asleep lol...

So what do i do now? What is my chances?

Morning ladies, how is everyone today? Any updates? Here nothing to report. No AF but its only due on Tuesday and I am waiting it out. Have had some pain in ovaries and surrounding areas since Fri and was sure AF was about to make an appearance this weekend but so far nothing. It's strange because I never get any pains when AF is due, it just arrives and before I started ttc it surprised me every month as I was really bad at keeping track of my cycles. So these pains which should be AF related are not usual signs for me that it is about to arrive. Ah the wait, makes my brain work overtime!!!

The waiting part should be illegal lol! And it should be shorter lengths of times for this malarky....
Cd13 and seem to have ovulated yet as had negative opks all week, still early i suppose. Still dtd most nights 17 days due to next cycle, so i still have that dreaded 2ww ahhhhhh

Hello lovely ladies,
Having more boob pain today, funny bumps around the nipples and cramping. But the cramping feels just like AF. but for some reason I feel remarkably positive and happy. I just can't help feeling that everything will work out. Anyway, AF is due tomorrow or Sunday and i would not be surprised if it turned up bang on time. I keep checking cos I think it has come early.

The waiting is the worst isn't it. I just want to know either way so I can get my head around another month of all of this

10 dpo today. I never knew time could move so slow. I am trying to hold out and only POAS after the weekend but it is going to be difficult. Still, last time I POAS'd at 9dpo and got a bfn and at 13dpo and got bfp so I do not want to POAS too early.

So for the past two nights I have been woken because I have Such an awful achey belly .... All periody ... It's making me queezy ...

I hope this is a good sign .... Or else I am gearing up for my first ad after miscarriage to be terrible

To be honest i have never felt when i have ovulated i had been on the pill constant and overlapped never wanted a period lol so when i fell pg in the aug it was a shock!!! And it wasnt until 6 weeks into pg i found out i was pg, so had no symptoms just a very late af!!

So earlier in jan before af came i didnt notice if or when i had ovulated i went with what a stupid app told me and i never done any opk's.... So this time i thought i would since it was a bfn 3 weeks ago!

As expected on a normal 28 day cycle id be ovulating this sunday... So will continue you to test and dtd everynight now from tonight so i dont miss it.
Prev cycle after mc was 37 days then 34 days... So no idea where i'm sitting at at the mo! So frustrating :(

Baxter, we all do it. 11 dpo is usually far too early anyway! It ain't over until AF arrives!

Just bloody POAS for some reason. Managed to squeeze out a few drops (literally about 20ml!) to test with. Obviously got a BFN. Don't know why I just did that. Went against my own superstitions. Feel like an idiot!

Good luck baby it must be frustrating not knowing if you have ovulated or not. I never had any signs of ovulation before my MC and now I have noticed strong ovarian cramping around the time. Can you usually tell when its happening (even without using OPKs?) I know sometimes we can miss it because we done POAS at the right time of day and the LH surge can be quite short.

So I am 11DPO today. My boobs itch and I am still getting the occasional cramp and headache but nothing major. Resisting urge to POAS until Monday because I promised myself I would follow the SMEP to the letter and they say POAS on DPO15 if AF hasn't come. I am a bit OCD with some things and feel that if I don't do something (like follow a plan exactly) something bad (like a BFN) will happen! I know it is ridiculous but I can't help myself. Weird eh? AF would be due Sat/Sun....no idea what is going to happen and it could really go either way.

when I was pg in aug 2013 I never knew I was preg until 6 weeks later I had no symptoms just a very late period.. so I thought I would test! but I had nothing so dont always look for the symtoms, no all of us have any... I got to 10 weeks and also had no sickness either, hopefully the same this tume round if I get a bfp!!
we need to be dtd every night now until the 4th.... so I dont miss it!

I think as we have all said we probably had these symptoms,cm,sore breasts before but just never took notice because we weren't ttc.

I also agree that I live in dread that we are gonna go through it month after month.... I almost wanna say no changed my mind .. Don't want ttc....

But I know I will regret forever not trying ....

Baxter, yes I am noticing cm now when ttc as well. Had quite a bit around 6 dpo and then it stopped. My left ovary is hurting now and just went to the loo and I am sure there was a VERY faint brown/pink tint when I wiped (sorry tmi). So now my mind is working over time. Is this AF on its way??? Would be very weird as I know I Ov'd around 8 days ago and my AF usually arrives 14 days later bang on time. However since this is first cycle after mc, who the hell knows what could happen? I am confused!

Swede - as you well know you can read too much into symptoms. Loads of people have reported BFPs after having no symptoms at all. Others probably ate too much and put their change in bowel habits/bloating/greasy face down to being PG rather than the big old sunday lunch they just scoffed. We know our own bodies but since having a MC is seems anything goes - you really cannot predict what is normal and what is not. TBH we won't know until AF is late and we POAS! Its sooooo frustrating.

I am feeling perfectly normal today - spots and headaches are still there, I have creamy CM (sorry tmi, i don't normally get this either, def not at this stage) and my boobs are slightly (and I mean slightly) sore. Thats it. Could be anything really. Never really paid much attention to my CM before but I know last month after OV it was watery. Never get headaches but I could be dehydrated and I am hitting the books quite hard so really cant count it as a symptom. Spots on my cheeks are HUGE but I have had spots there before (its just not a regular thing), boobs hurt a bit but last month I was in agony and AF came. Cramping has gone. No spotting. dont feel particularly tired. Just fed up!

Tutti hopefully being back at work will keep your mind off it all.

No symptoms what so ever. Should be 8dpo I think and I don't feel pg at all. Very frustrating as I was so happy about my 'symptoms' a few days ago. Seems like they were psychosomatic rather than real. Not feeling positive at all

That's how I feel ... I have a niggling doubt that I won't get pregnant again .. That it was just a fluke last time ...

That said I have got burning nipples but in the insides if you know what I mean .. But as I said before this is the first time I have noticed ... If you are not trying you don't associate if you get any twinge to oh I must be pregnant ....

What I have realized is that if I get a bfn then my gosh your body spends as much time 'preparing ' for af as for a bfp....

I never realized how many 'symptoms' you can have ...

It's a horrible time ... Well I am back to work today after days off .. So that will keep my mind busy ... Have a good day all ....

I had none when I was pregnant last aug... was 7 weeks before i found out I was pg, then sadly lost baby at 10 weeks but all on an up! and ttc this month but its killing me! crys

I think we can always read too much into every little twinge. I had no symptoms prior to getting a BFP previously so i dont know why I am presuming that now my boob hurts a bit and i have a headache that I am miraculously up the duff.

I just read so many stories on here of people being disappointed when they POAS. But I suppose its the nature of the forums - only people with worries/troubles etc. tend to post on here so I don't think its a fair representation. I just really hope we are all lucky this month (or at least bloody soon). Won't be long now. I'll either get AF on Sat/Sun or I POAS on Monday morning!!
