About to start / Just started TTC no.2 (part 4)

So sorry I've not been on, not a lot to report here but I went back to work last weds (first day back since Xmas) and was really tired last week. I've been trying to read up mans catch up with the thread.
Better - I nearly cried when I read your posts and I'm so sorry that you've had awful bleeding and cramps and that you're now not feeling well. Have you been for a scan today? Is everything ok? I truly hope the bleeding was nothing sinister and perhaps related to your bug. If you need us we are all here for you. One thing that suprised me was that I was told by my midwife at my first booking in appointment to go to the EPU with and bleeding or problems under 12 weeks.
Donna - how was your scan?
Hungry - how far are you now? Is it your 12 week scan next week? My 20 week scan is next tues.

I imagine if we'd had a very long wait for success he may have stopped asking though.

Yes! While TTC the first time I found the less DH knew about ov dates and TTC strategies the better. It's important to try to keep some semblance of the magic alive, especially if, like us, you're TTC for a long time.

So on the topic of reluctant partners, I think I have already begun to scare DH by talking about days we'll need to try and DTD next month. To be fair he is a bit confused overall because it has taken me a bit of time to be sure I want to ttc and now I am suddenly very keem after being less keen just the other week. Do you find you have to keep full details of ttc strategies from your DPs, so as not to scare them?

Just wanted to say Good Luck Better, hope you get the answers you want, and that baby is all ok. Hope you are feeling recovered from your illness too? Whatever caused it, it sounds rotten, poor you.
DD was sick everywhere twice this morning, but seems to be ok now. Just one of those toddler things I guess!
Swede, did I say already, soo glad you finally got your smiley! And good luck with the dtd tonight. I would say if you can't manage it though maybe tomorrow night could still count if the eggs feeling abit lazy and hanging around! I am confident you will get your bfp after this cycle though Swede.
I last dtd fri afternoon, got my positive opk on tues beforehand, so hopefully I've gone above and beyond my timeframe! Not going to bother anymore this cycle, I think I have had enough for a while. I wasn't going to bother POAS this month just wait for AF to arrive, but we are having a party on saturday, and I would like to know if I can drink or not, AF is due on saturday if my cycles are going to behave, so it looks like I will be having a poas party sat morning.
Great news for you too utopian that AF is possibly making her appearance, even better if its implantation, I wouldn't be surprised, it has happened a few times on this thread hasn't it!!

Laughing at the image of you tying your DH down, Swede. Maybe S&M will entice him as a one off! :-)

I know I've said this before, but both times I've got a BFP we've DTD the day before and the day after the smiley.

If you're OVing today, last night's sperm are sitting ready and waiting, so it was perfect timing. :-) Bloody good luck.

Swede, we were told eod when we were TTC the first time, but that might be because DH has a low SC.

Either way eod should do the trick. Have you looked up SMEP? It's a combination of eod and every day based on when you ov.

Swede, if you don't get your BFP this cycle I'd go with EOD.

I think that today is probably your last chance this cycle though, if that influences anything?

Swede I'm sure eod is enough as sperm can live for a few days inside your body, and if it's what you're gyno recommended I'd stick with that.

Id go eod swede, there'll always be enough in there and they're going to be better quality tgst way!

Hi, sorry long time no posting again! I may have af at last though! (I know everyone else hates her, but given there had been nothing since O was born, I count this as a step in the right direction..)

The thing is it's just a bit, off and on today, not proper af. Also hugely achey boobs (Could be stopping bf two weeks ago,) and tired (par for the course these days.) If, just IF, it's implantation bleeding, what would suggest this and when could I test to know?

I'm 31 with no dcs. 1st cycle so no idea of cycle length. 28 days was on Saturday, no AF as if yet. Poas on sat but BFN still hopefully though.

My mil is just a very angry person I think. She has these flashes of temper which I have seen many times but this w.e was first time I've been on receiving end. Just had a good rant to my lovely mum. I don't want it to come between me and dh but it upsets me a little that he doesn't ever stand up to her.
ANYway! It's her who is unhappy and I won't let it affect me. Too much!
When are the twenty week scans
For those further along preg peeps? Any 12 week scans coming up? God I love a scan. New obsession after poas!
