So, here it is, Part 4! May it bring lots of BFP's for those of us still waiting and may it bring happy healthy pregnancies for those who are fabulously pregnant.

Hurray Swede!! Oh I am so glad for you. So how many weeks does that put you at?

cake how are you doing my cycle buddy? Grin I only have about 6 days left to wait though. I have been feeling exhausted recently, but obviously it is far too early for any symptoms! Re your present, hmm, is he into colouring? Or books? Some little puzzles would be good, help to take his mind off of things.

mrs your weekend sounds lovely, how amazing is this weather!! Sorry to those of you not getting it....Hmm brilliant news with your DS' bedtime. Let's hope he keeps it up.

kt sorry you've been unwell, hope you are starting to feel a bit brighter now and getting plenty of rest.

Better my DD is 2 and 4 months. She is such a character. Huge good luck to you for your scan, hope it all goes swimmingly.

I had my appointment this morning, was just a quick one with the nurse to take some blood though. Not sure if the Dr will contact me or I need to make an app with them, the nurse said if the results were 'normal' then they wouldn't get in touch with me, but surely whatever happens I'll need a follow up appointment...and the results won't be normal anyway as it was the wrong bloody day! Sigh. Watch this space I guess.

lovesmycake · 10/03/2014 15:38

lovely news swede :)

mrsm22 · 10/03/2014 14:18

Congratulations Swede! That's fantastic news.

SwedeAway · 10/03/2014 11:37

Helloooo all!
So had a fabulous scan today. Surprise surprise but there was actually a baby in there!! Got a very clear pic of the little one wriggling around like crazy. Also got to hear the heart beat, absolutely amazing!
But my due date has now been moved again, seems that it is hard to determine first day of last period due to the mc. So my new due date is the 16th October (two days before DD's birthday:)). Feel very pleased that all seems to be ok. Next scan will be the 10th April when I am going for the downs syndrome etc tests. I am one happy Swede today!

Hi everyone, had a good weekend. We took my DS to knaresborough for the afternoon with my mum and dad. The weather was gorgeous and it was a really nice day.
Hi Better - you went to uni in Leeds...did u enjoy living in Leeds? How long have you been in Northumberland? I don't really have a plan for how long I will stay at home but I'd like to stay at home until both DS's are at school. My DS will start school in September 2016. He'll be the older end of the year unlike my DS to come who will be the younger and of the year. I'm enjoying being at home. So far, just had my first week at home last week we have done things like go to the park and different playgrounds and things.
Good luck to all today with appointments and scans and will await the update. x

lovesmycake · 10/03/2014 07:47

Morning. Good luck today with your scan swede and your drs appt ginger.
yay mini mrs for going into his own room what a lovely moment that must have been for you, so nice when they 'choose' to do what you want them too :)
hope your feeling better kt its horrible not being able to take anything when your ill.
So glad work went well hungry I remember being shattered when I first went back to work and I wasn't even pg! hopefully you will get settled into your new routine soon.
We had a very busy weekend decorating our hallway, another small step in this house renovation. Im also trying to rack my brains at the moment for a good get well soon present for my 6yr old nephew he is having some medical treatment which will last for 6 weeks and be pretty painful so I’m trying to put a box together of fun things to do and failing so far, if you guys have any ideas they would be very much appreciated.
Apart from that I’m definitely not wishing the next 11 days go super fast with a bfp at the end …………

HungryHorace · 09/03/2014 20:37

Hi mrs and Better...I've been so tired this weekend. I met a friend yesterday in Liverpool for a drink and ended up asleep by 8.30! Not good. I may be dead after this week!

I'm looking forward to it though. No arsey clients to deal with for a start. :-)

I managed to sell our single pram today, which is good as I am short of cash this month, so £175 is very useful. We've also sold our holiday apartment in Windermere that we now can't use for w/c 17th. Got half our money back, so DH has the benefit of that money! Bring on 6th April and pay day for a full working month. :-)

Better, I'd be nervous in your shoes too. Totally natural. I really hope it's all OK.

My scan is 26th at 20+6. I'm seeing the consultant the same day. Hopefully he will agree to an ELCS without too much hassle.

Interesting that you have slow leg hair growth too! Wonder if it does mean anything?

Kt, sorry you're ill. I hope you're all better soon.

Mrs, how're you going to spend your time with DS now you're off? I can't believe you've only bought one item of clothing. That's restraint for you!

Good luck tomorrow, Swede. I'm sure everything is perfect. You've certainly got enough symptoms!

Kt1991 · 09/03/2014 19:19

Good luck for your scan better it's horrible when your extra worried, but try to stay positive :) what times your apt? I feel awful still :( it's crap when you can hardly take anything for it! DS has a nasty temp now too so looks like he will be staying back from nursery tomorrow I'm under strict instructions from family members that I'm not allowed into work until its all gone! I stupidly went in on thurs cause of it being short staffed wish I hadn't cause I've not improved all weekend :(

BetterNotBitter · 09/03/2014 19:07

Oh no kt poor you with the flu. How are you now?

Sounds like a bit of progress with ds mrs!

Have a feeling I've missed loads of people, so sorry if I have, hope everyone else is ok.

BetterNotBitter · 09/03/2014 19:05

Evening all!!

Hope everyone's had good weekends.

How do you feel knowing you won't be going back to work mrs? How long do you plan on being a SAHM for? I was in Leeds for years, I went to uni there and worked there for a few years afterwards. Were up near the top of Northumberland now though, around 2.5-3 hours from Leeds.

Oh I don't have a problem with anyone saying anything in either RL or on here when it's relevant to the conversation gingerbread it doesn't offend me that people have different views to me, it's just when they share them in inappropriate conversations, or when I barely even know them! Your dd sounds lovely, how old is she again? Good luck tomorrow, what time is your appt?

Ahhhh hungry I forgot about the slow leg hair growth! I had the same with dd & now I come to think of it the same this time too! Have you recovered from work yet? How are you feeling about the first full week? Yes, my scan is Thursday, I'm dreading it after my consultants appt, they didn't paint a positive picture!! Just so hoping baby has developed properly without the problems I'm more susceptible to. We'll know on thurdsay! Fingers crossed. When is your scan? Next week?

mrsm22 · 09/03/2014 11:30

Hi everyone, hope you're all having a good weekend. The sun is shining here in Leeds and looks like it will be a nice warm ish sunny day, so looking forward to taking DS out this afternoon. Funny thing happened when I took DS up to bed last night, he held my hand and took me into his room! Could not believe it and he managed from 8.30pm til 12.30 so I'm feeling a bit more positive, I think it's slowly coming and all being well he will be properly in his room by June!
Hi Ginger - good luck for your blood test tomorrow. My DS also throws yoghurt on the floor and throwing cups of orange juice on the floor is his fave at the moment!
Swede - best of luck for your scan tomorrow!
Hungry - how do you feel after covering your first week at work? How are you feeling about this next week? I remember when I first went back part time after having DS and I going it really tiring until I got used to it. Lucky for you you won't have to do it for long before you're off again.
Hi Toothpaste - I'm 26 weeks and 2 days, so not far in front of you. It's wizzing by isn't it?! My DS is not the best water, we have good days and bad but getting him to try new things is so hard.
Hi Kt - been thinking about you. Glad you're ok, know how tiring it is. I'm not as tired as I was at the beginning but still get very tired now at 26 weeks.
Hungry - lovely that you have started buying things. I've only bought one outfit so far, some gorgeous soft blue and white dungarees.

Kt1991 · 08/03/2014 12:57

Hey everyone. So sorry I've not been able to post for about a week! Haven't had the chance to write a msg due to tiredness and now having the flu :( how's everyone doing? I've just read quickly through all the pages I think I have missed, so firstly gingerbread sorry you were feeling down about it all, I do hope this is your month, and glad things are happening with tests etc! Good luck. :) hingry glad your first few days back at work were ok :) it is horrible leaving for that first day back, but your lucky its just for 3 months ;) how long will you have off for mat leave this time? mrs sorry bedtime isn't working with your DS in his room, I think you've just got to be persistent with it and not give up, it's hard but you will get there! We still have times where DS won't go to bed in his room, and we sometimes let him watch something on the iPad, bit similar to more with the tv, we know that way that at least he's relaxed, and will eventually fall asleep! Also what about playing some nursery rhymes or songs on a iPod or cd? Or not sure if they still do them now I remember when I was younger you used to be able to buy the cd/tape where it told childrens stories? I hope things improve for you!
swede good luck for your scan On Monday, I'm sure everything will be fine :) what time is it? Sorry If Ive missed anyone out will try have another read when I have a bit more energy!

HenriettaTurkey · 08/03/2014 11:01

Hi everyone! Got my AF this morning. At least, I think it's that. I have had lots of migraines and now feel very sick which made DH wonder if it was an implantation bleed. Think that's unlikely though...this is my first bleed since I stopped the pill on 13 February. At least I know where I am now...

CallingAllEngels · 08/03/2014 08:52

Welcome tatty !

gingerbread that's excatly what I tell myself - every month I'm not pg is another month to spend with ds.

Still no ov here yet, expecting today or tomorrow.

HungryHorace · 08/03/2014 07:11

It may be ok, Gingerbread. You'll have to make sure you tell your GP when you discuss the results though.

Swede, I'm not surprised you're tired. Don't do too much this weekend. Haven't you been buying a car for about 2 months now though?! Long winded!

And yes, I'm going by leg hair growth...same thing happened with DD. :-) It's an unusual one, but there you go!

Better, is your scan this week or next?

GingerbreadBabyPlease · 08/03/2014 06:14

Glad it's the weekend too for you swede, hope you manage to get some rest! Test driving sounds like fun, did you manage to persuade DH to get the one you wanted?
It sounds like everything will be just fine for your scan on monday, how many weeks do you think you are?
hungry haha to slow growing leg hair! Love the ridiculous symptom spotting Grin

Just realised my blood test is on monday, not tuesday, so if I count yesterday as 1dpo it's actually 3 days earlier than it needs to be. I'm such a dope Confused hope it won't affect the results too much....

Right, best be off to work....hope everyone has a lovely day.

SwedeAway · 08/03/2014 04:46

Hi all! So glad that its weekend. Have been so tired this week after my illness. Also DH has been away on a business trip so been alone with dd which takes a lot of energy. Very glad that I have my cleaning lady otherwise the house would look like a bomb site! Today we are going to test drive another car, who would have thought it would take this long to buy a bloody car, sick of the whole thing already. Not long until Monday now. My scan is at 9 am and I am starting to get rather nervous. I still am worried that there is nothing there but I know I am being stupid. My boobs have increased at least one size, my belly is so bloated that none of my trousers button up any more and this nausea is just not going away. So if i am not pg then my body is acting very strange indeed. Anyway, going to get dressed now as taking dd to her ballet lesson. Have a lovely Sat everyone.

HungryHorace · 07/03/2014 22:12

Yes, we got unisex stuff as we didn't find out with her either. DC2 deserves new first and going home outfits though!

I'm kind of thinking girl too thanks to slow growing leg hair. Of all things. :-)

I lay awake for about an hour at 4am this morning. Glad I was working from home today.

Your DD sounds adorable, Gingerbread.

Good luck with the blood test next week.

Toothpaste, I agree. Wait until near the end of your mat leave before worrying about work. :-)

GingerbreadBabyPlease · 07/03/2014 21:05

Cross posts Hungry! New outfit sounds lovely, is most of the stuff you have from DD unisex? Although I do think you're having another girl Smile
Hope you get a good nights sleep.

GingerbreadBabyPlease · 07/03/2014 21:03

Evening everyone, Mrs don't worry it's not you! We have moments of quiet and moments of chattiness.
Hungry are you glad it's the weekend now? How did the first two days go? Any crawling updates?
Gosh toothpaste, 23 weeks already, another boy would be sweet. I think that's a good idea regarding work; just see how your maternity goes.
Better very well said indeed. It got me wondering how many times I have said something inappropriate or put my foot in it though, on here and in RL!
If I'd known what I do now I wish I had taken another 6 months or so off of work too Mrs, hindsight is a bitch.
I had a revelation moment today, DD has just been so funny and sweet recently, I am so lucky to have her and I am just enjoying every day with her (except for when she throws yoghurt all over the floor). I get to have sweet little cuddles and kisses when I want, and engage in ridiculous 2 year old conversations. Today in the supermarket she was dancing to the song on the radio, wiggling her little bum around whilst holding on to the fridge doors! Don't ask me where she learnt that but I was wetting myself laughing. I'm sure I will change again in another week when AF shows up, but for now I am just enjoying spending time with her and appreciating that when AF does show her evil face at least I get to tickle and cuddle a sweet little girl. Please remind me of this when I am crying in a weeks time!!
Well tues and wed I got positive opks, then today no smiley face, so that is good in that it shows at least my LH surge seems relatively normal. Blood tests next tuesday, which will only be 5 dpo though.
loves and engels hows the baby making going?

HungryHorace · 07/03/2014 20:55

Hi!

I'm here. I'm just very tired after going back to work. Posting is a lot of effort! :-/

I'll be destroyed after a full week next week.

Bought DC2 their first / going home outfits today. Only new stuff they're getting from us! Had a little hormonal weep in Boots while choosing them. Saddo!

Argh. Teething DD tonight. After just learning to bloody sleep through this week too. Sigh.

Toothpastekissesno2 · 07/03/2014 20:36

I'm 23 weeks so it's starting to go fast. Also craving sweet things. I'm sure it's another boy!
Bitter - really well said!
Ian somewhere between u and swede. I enjoyed going back to work and found three days a good balance but wouldn't want to work full time. Who knows what I will do with no 2. I almost think it will be a case of can I afford to work! The cow at work made me think I def wouldn't go back but now I'm thinking I just will enjoy maternity and not make that decision right now.
My ds still doesn't eat!! Arghhh!! X

tattyteddy · 07/03/2014 20:02

Just wanted to say hi, we are going to start TTC no.2 this month. The old Clear fertility monitor has been dusted down and put back into use. Feel a bit nervous and excited. dd is nearly three now and would love another dc x

mrsm22 · 07/03/2014 19:46

Where is everyone? It's strange, I seem to post and everyone disappears.

mrsm22 · 06/03/2014 19:16

Glad it's gone ok today for you Hungry and that you're working from home tomorrow. I thought you might have a little cry this morning, perfectly natural x
Better - I'm totally with you. I always wanted to be a SAHM when I had kids and that's why after 12 months maternity leave with my DS, I took an extra six months as a career break. This was because work wouldn't let me go part time and I would never have left my DS to go back to work full time. I missed him every moment, even just working 3 days a week. So you can see why I have chosen to take my mat leave this time as soon as poss and I won't be going back. So SAHM buddies we are now Better! Whereabouts are you by the way? Everyone has been discussing the exciting places that they live and I wondered if you were anywhere near Leeds?
