So, here it is, Part 4! May it bring lots of BFP's for those of us still waiting and may it bring happy healthy pregnancies for those who are fabulously pregnant.

Sorry donna haven't got my head quite round who is pg yet!

Sounds lovely swede perfect rest after tough night. Maybe try and ease the nerves by focusing on fact that you oved and even if AF comes it means things getting back to normal.

I have been working at hime today on dull project and really want to poas because I'm so bored! Wrong time of day but then I am possibly late (irregular cycles and am past average cycle length but not past the longest cycle iyswim). Trying to hold off for Sunday but expect I will give in. The longer I waot the more excited I get about wjat might be

SwedeAway · 24/01/2014 16:06

Sorry AF got you Lucy and ClaudeSad I am so nervous this month, keep checking for AF although it would be way too early for that. I hate this wait! Had a nice day today though, all to myselfSmile So nice to have my cut, nothing drastic (did that before Xmas when I chopped off very long hair to a short bob). DH is out tonight so think I may have a glass of Wine and watch Sex and the City.

I got my AF too! I'm not actually too bad as I don't think I expected to get a BFP the first cycle! dp was sad though, so cute!

Anyway I've realised that I've not read the title of this thread properly. You are all trying for dc2 and I don't have any duh! So I don't belong on this thread so I'll find another but I'll be reading up to see how you're all getting on and thinking about you all.

Best of luck lovely ladies Smile

Kt1991 · 24/01/2014 15:27

Sorry AF got you both lucy and claude sure it's not inplantation bleeding? I'd book a docs apt lucy then hopefully the same will happen to you like it did for me! Ive been feeling sick pretty much all day today :( scared of actually being sick if anyone remembers I don't cope very well with it! I didn't have any ginger biscuits but DS went and got me a rusk to eat instead, and a small container incase I was sick he was being so grown up and helpful bless him. I've completely gone off loads of foods this week too, just want plain things to eat, supposed to be having chilli tonight but don't think I can bring myself to cook it! How's everyone else doing?
That is very out of order about your work donna hope you get it sorted.

LucyJoJo · 24/01/2014 13:38

Haha at DD not DH Donna!! I thought that was a very advanced thing for her to be saying!!
At least your boss was embarrassed when you brought it up so she must know she's in the wrong? Is the company struggling for money? Bit harsh to take it out on you if they are though Angry. Would they be willing to give it back to you in lieu time? I know it's no help financially but at least it would be a compromise. Not long to go now for you though Donna, when will you go on mat leave?
There is a course starting in march I would like to go on, it runs for 3 days a week for 15 weeks and is free to do. Would mean I could embark on a career change. Do I quit my job though for it?? It might be running again in sept so should I wait til then? Or do I try and balance it alongside working 3 days a week, which would mean putting DD in childcare 3 days a week and not seeing her for 6 days/week, which would be very hard considering I need some little person company at the moment. But it is only for 15 weeks...
Donna you can change your name if you go to My Mumsnet-my account or my profile, in the top right hand corner. I am thinking of changing mine too, bit boring using your real name isn't it!

donnas1984 · 24/01/2014 13:12

hazy im 21 weeks pregnant on Sunday so im planning to be a sahm for a few years and then possibly a change in career. my boss was mortified the I questioned her but had no intention of paying me. Angry

HazyShadeOfWinter · 24/01/2014 12:46

lucy and claude so sorry to hear that Sad Sad, at least you can drink at the party lucy [clutches at straws, probably not helpful]. I hope you both get home and to DH/DC quickly today so you can draw comfort from them.

And Lucy yes I hope that you can get ball rolling with GP, at least then you can feel you're doing something positive again, instead of being at AF's mercy.

Donna that does sound awful, if it's a small business you might hope they would be understanding about your own situation, too, and not have docked the wages. Are you looking for something new? Or is it too hard with DC etc?

donnas1984 · 24/01/2014 12:42

also does anyone know how to change your username mines is just abit to easy to guess xx

donnas1984 · 24/01/2014 12:36

oops dh not dd! Blush

donnas1984 · 24/01/2014 12:35

its a family run business and it was only me and there son working as it was a weekend he is salary so I wouldnt know abiut his wage. I just think its really crap doing that! defo not going back even dd says they are a shower of shites!

HungryHorace · 24/01/2014 12:35

That sounds so wrong Donna. Are you salaried or paid by the hour? Sounds like an illegal deduction to me. :-/

Sorry about AF, Claude. Something strange going on with early AF for you both. :-(

I think B12 is maybe meant to help. I can't remember. Maybe do a search in Conception about short luteal phases for help?

LucyJoJo · 24/01/2014 12:28

Donna Shock that is awful! Have they done the same to everyone? Are they trying to blame it on you for going home early??

LucyJoJo · 24/01/2014 12:27

Thanks girls. Someone at work brought in a tin of quality streets, so have been tucking into those(feel a bit sick now) and trying to hold back the tears. Also guzzling the coffee now that I can after DD kept me awake half the night, poor little sausage though.
Oh Claude, how strange, and also rubbish that we are vomit and AF twins instead of bfp twins!! Maybe it's implantation for you?? Brown sounds an odd colour for the start of AF?
Thanks Metal, is it definately AF or implantation was my first thought too, but no, definately AF, got the cramps as well now.
I'm not great to be honest, but have to keep it together while at work. Did consider going home early but I would only get myself into a state and sit around feeling sorry for myself. I will definately be booking a GP app, at least I can get the ball rolling now to find out what is going on. Hopefully it will be something that can be fixed easily. Do you think it's worth taking anything in the meantime to try and extend my LP?

BetterNotBitter · 24/01/2014 12:13

donna that sounds ridiculous, are they allowed to do that? Is it a small company? How are you getting on with your dh being out of work?

BetterNotBitter · 24/01/2014 12:11

Nooooo lucy I'm so sorry :( bloody horrible this TTC business. I hope you're ok, well as ok as you can be x x

Oh no, and you claude

I blame January. Miserable month. Other than dds birthday..... But generally, rubbish month.

donnas1984 · 24/01/2014 12:07

Claude and Lucy gutted for uou both Sad big hugs and dairy milk all round xxx
Blew up the big bouncy ball last night dd things its the best toy ever!
Had big fight with my boss yday as they have docked my wages for a day during xmass that thay decided to shut early, I was fully prepared to work the entire shift but they said to pack up and go home. - it was Christmas im pregnant and my dh is our of work! Am I being unreasonable or expecting to much? xx

claudeekishi · 24/01/2014 11:53

Lucy are you my twin? My dd was also vomiting last night (poor thing it's her bday today) and this morning I saw what I guess is AF. Also 2/3 daya early. Grainy brown spotting but I think it's AF.

Metalhead · 24/01/2014 11:52

Oh no Lucy! I'm so sorry to hear that. I take it you're sure it's AF and not implantation...? Sorry, daft question probably, just clutching at straws. Sending you a big virtual hug until you can get some real ones.

I think a 10 day LP is pretty borderline for successful implantation. Have you been to see your GP? If not it might be worth a visit.

HungryHorace · 24/01/2014 11:51

Ah, Lucy :-(

Are you booking a GP appointment now? I'm so sorry. It sounded so promising too. xx

LucyJoJo · 24/01/2014 11:26

Parties off I'm afraid ladies. AF just got me, two days early. wtf is going on. This gives me an LP of 10 days at best, that's not going to be good for implantation is it??
I have a whole day of work to get through now too before I can get a hug from DD/DH. And a stupid party tomorrow where I will have to play at being happy amidst our friends.

Hair cut sounds lovely Swede, anything drastic?

SwedeAway · 24/01/2014 06:15

Morning all! Been a bit quiet lately, so much to do at the moment! Work is manic and DD super demanding, oh and trying not to think too much about the 2wwWink No symptoms at all but I guess I would only be 3 or 4 dpo. Having the day off today so going to get a much needed hair cut!

POAS party this weekend! So excited for everyone taking part. Think my AF/BFP should be due around 4th Feb so def not POAS before then!

How's everyone today?

Hazy it's so easy to lose your patience sometimes with kids, I do it too and then just feel awful. But like Metal said, I'm sure they won't remember, luckily!
I was the same with DD, can't remember when it started but I just felt nauseous all the time until about 16 weeks.
I have just spent the past half hour cleaning up DDs vomit, she's had a bit of a funny tummy the past few days, so that probably explains why I've been feeling sick too. Sad DH picked a good night to be away! So much for my early night too. Roll on the weekend....
So before our party can we have a roll call of VIP guests?? I'm useless at remembering and too lazy to read back through the thread!
Lucy - ttc cycle 7, cycles usually 26 days, saturday will be cd26, 11dpo.

Metalhead · 23/01/2014 22:12

I've not actually been sick, and I never was with DD either, just constantly feeling nauseous. It's hard to remember exactly how I felt first time round Toothpaste, as it's been 4 years, but I think even though I'm feeling pretty rough it's not quite as bad (yet) this time. I can still eat pretty much everything, whereas with DD any kind of fruit would make me gag.

We'll definitely find out the sex, I can't wait to know!

Sorry you've had such a crappy day Hazy. Don't beat yourself up about shouting though, we are all only human and shit just happens sometimes. I'm sure your DS will have forgotten it already!

HazyShadeOfWinter · 23/01/2014 21:51

ok will wait for then.

Part of reason for anting to POAS today was on the slim chance I got a BFP I could blame the snapping and losing things on pregnancy hormones. Grin
