So, here it is, Part 4! May it bring lots of BFP's for those of us still waiting and may it bring happy healthy pregnancies for those who are fabulously pregnant.

Congrats swede!! So happy for you! Have a good feeling too.
I've missed so much I don't even know where to begin / my phone doesn't scroll back that far!
All good with me. Twenty week scan a week tomorrow and I can't wait. Feeling lots of little mini froggy kicks but there is nothing like a scan!
Goodluck all x

HungryHorace · 06/02/2014 21:00

I always wear a suit for interviews, or smart skirt / blouse. It doesn't matter if it's smarter than you'd have to wear for work as it just gives a good impression. :-)

We haven't been pushing the pram round the house, though DH has been taking photos in every feasible position!

If the cosy toes comes tomorrow I'll take DD out in it. Can't wait. :-)

I used to POAS (or PIATH - piss in a tealight holder) in the evenings too! My cramping would start the night before my smiley, but I never got a smiley til the morning.

GingerbreadBabyPlease · 06/02/2014 20:38

Thanks Hungry, I know! Only handed it in yesterday about 5pm! Just trying to figure out what to wear to it, ugh it's so easy for blokes...shirt and smart pants, tie and jacket if it's a bit more formal. A very part time job in a bookshop, what does one wear to an interview for that!?
Love the pram Hungry! It looks like a really good one. Have you been pushing it around your house? Smile
I have been saving up my wee for the past 3 hours, so off to POAS. Hungry I think I've caught your addiction, I'm doing it twice a day now!
Sorry you're classed as high risk Better, that is a bit rubbish, but at least when you eventually get to see the consultant it will be reassuring to know they are looking out for you. Can't believe your mw forgot to refer you though!
How is everyone else?

HungryHorace · 06/02/2014 16:20

Congrats, Gingerbread! :-) That was quick!

Fx for a smiley tomorrow.

Late OV could also mean late BFP, Guinness!

guinnessgirl · 06/02/2014 13:48

yeah, probably did OV late - still had EWCM for a few days after the expected date, so that would explain it. Envy

GingerbreadBabyPlease · 06/02/2014 13:45

Ah boo, sorry Guiness. We all get the late AF but bfn cycle at some point. I had mine over christmas, eventually got AF on cd34 after normal 26 day cycles.
Sorry, don't mean to scare you though! Hopefully it's just a shy one, or you ovulated late?

guinnessgirl · 06/02/2014 13:41

Gingerbread - great news about the interview. Well done! Just POAS with a first response - BFN again Sad think AF must just be late for some reason. Boooo.

GingerbreadBabyPlease · 06/02/2014 13:32

Good luck Guiness. Will you go later or wait for FMU?
Oh forgot to add to Hazy - no I don't poas either, I too piactstsiac...I think I would wee all over my hand otherwise!!!! Shock
Glad all went well with the scan ATruth. Really hope I get my bfp this month, then we can have a thread for joint birthdays between siblings!!
Still no smiley for me, but I did get some ewcm today so hopefully I will get one tomorrow morning.
Will reply properly later as I'm at work today.
I've got an interview in the morning for the job I applied for though Grin

HungryHorace · 06/02/2014 09:56

Good luck, Guinness! Superdrug tests are good but not too expensive. :-)

Morning everyone!

Metalhead · 06/02/2014 08:20

Haha, might try that next time morerum!

Good luck guiness, hope you get a BFP this time.

guinnessgirl · 06/02/2014 07:38

morning all! Quick update - still no AF this morning so buying a better test to POAS later...

morerummorefun · 06/02/2014 04:45

metal BT are disgusting! The only way I managed to speak to someone who could actually help me without reading from a script was by cancelling my direct debit ans waiting for them to call me!
Got the matter resolved quickly after thatGrin . xx

Metalhead · 05/02/2014 21:58

Many congratulations Swede, I hope this one is a sticky bean!

Also great news about your scan ATruth!

I can't chat much at the moment as our Internet is down and mobile connection is a bit crap, but will be back once BT get their ass in gear and fix our broadband. (Does anybody else find they have the most shocking customer service...?)

HungryHorace · 05/02/2014 19:33

Argghh. Name change fail again. :-/

Bloody iPad / iPhone.

MrsBri · 05/02/2014 19:32

I drove...got half drowned between the car and Aldi though!

I'm consultant led and think I see a consultant no more than twice and the first time is after the next scan! I'm not high risk though, so it's slightly different I suppose.

BetterNotBitter · 05/02/2014 19:13

hungry I hope you went in the car! We got soaked numerous times today just walking from various buildings to the car! Ooooh the oyster max looks good!!

Oh atruth I'm so pleased everything was ok for you! what a relief!! I'm convinced we have a boy here too, will you find out at the next scan? Have you told ds there's another on the way yet??

gingerbread a white lie hadn't crossed my mind but I'm with hungry! definitely do it! Can't be good for you worrying about it all the time. I just made the cookies and they're amazing. I actually think they may have been a craving! I was diagnosed a year ago, it's fine actually as I've always cooked every Neal from scratch really & always baked a lot. Would be harder for someone who didn't enjoy cooking I think. The times I really struggle us when were out as the choices (if any) are so limited and usually not nice. It's also mad how much stuff I can't have that you wouldn't even think has gluten in. It's definitely improved my life though as had little niggling unresolved health issues that have all gone since changing diet. Not so good is that I'm classed as high risk for this pregnancy because of it. But my midwife 'forgot' to do a referral form, so I should have had close monitoring and consultant led all the way but now it's going to be 18 weeks before I even have my first appt! Gutted about being high risk too :(

I do the same hazy I never poas!!

Will reply to everything else later, story time in our house!

HungryHorace · 05/02/2014 18:43

I'm sure you can ask for a section the day after your DS' birthday, so you won't be in hospital for it.

It's so exciting having the scan, isn't it? Can't wait to see if you're right about the sex. Are you finding out at the next scan?

Weird how we OV'd a week apart but have 11 days in between our EDDs. I think I'm having another giant though!

Monstersaurus · 05/02/2014 18:39

Glad to hear that your scan went well truth.

Huge congratulations swede! Great news. Hope it behaves and the 8 week scan comes round quickly for you.

ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 05/02/2014 18:26

We haven't found out. Only twelve weeks. I'm just sure it'll be a boy!

morerummorefun · 05/02/2014 18:25

he?! I didnt know youd found out! awh thats lovely as much as I love the surpise id love to know just to get a few bits n bobs xx so pleased it went well xx

ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 05/02/2014 18:08

Thank you all. It was fine. Pheweeeee! Little one was all curled up on his belly so I had to do a little jiggle on the bed to get him to move. All fine though. Edd has moved to 18th August so if I have a section at 39weeks he'll be born on ds' s third birthday. Sigh. V.excited now Grin

CallingAllEngels · 05/02/2014 17:52

Great news swede.

morerummorefun · 05/02/2014 17:26

hazy my sister said the very same thing to me today so I have 21 days left plus 6/7 Saturday shifts but they are only 4 hrs.
atruth I hope you're scan went well today and puts your mind at ease Thanks

Kt1991 · 05/02/2014 16:59

Congrats swede! Knew you were pregnant! Well done for holding out POAS too!
Good luck for your scan atruth I'm sure it will all be fine :)
I've just had my booking in apt with the midwife, had bloods taken, my arms killing me now! My EDD until scan at the mo is 8th sept, so I'm 9weeks roughly, imagine I will probs be less though. Can't wait for the date to come through for it now! Hope were not waiting too long.
How's everyone else doing??

SwedeAway · 05/02/2014 16:20

Just calculated my due date, gave me 7 Oct. Funny that since DD's birthday is 18 Oct so close birthdays it is then:) I guess it will be slightly earlier than 7th as I must have c-section. I am so excited! Just hope it sticks!
