So, here it is, Part 4! May it bring lots of BFP's for those of us still waiting and may it bring happy healthy pregnancies for those who are fabulously pregnant.

I'm not too bad thanks hungry not very well this week though with cold and dry cough and on too of the tiredness makes me feel worse! DS has been playing up at bedtime this week too which hasn't helped! He thinks there's a robot or monster in his room, so think we will stop reading the monsters inc books now! He loves the film though:( how are you?
more that food sounds lovely! I've gone off so much already though and struggling to think of things to buy at my weekly shop now :(
How's everyone else doing?
better that is a strange coincidence indeed!
Hope you can get some rest soon swede

HungryHorace · 07/02/2014 12:02

Sounds like OV pains to me, Gingerelle. :-)

Swede, can you finish work early? That sounds hellish to me. Good job it's Friday.

Gingerelle · 07/02/2014 11:54

something or nothing. ...I think I might ovulate some time this week. dtd tues and last night, then this morning for a few hours had cramps pain, just like first few days of period. could this be anything exciting? or just wind or somethingAngry Angry

SwedeAway · 07/02/2014 11:46

I feel awful today:( Have not had enough sleep for the past two nights. Had to get up at 4am yesterday to fly to Cape Town and only came back home at midnight. Then up again at 4.30am this morning as I had to go for blood test before work. So, I am so tired and also feel terribly emotional and just want to cry the whole time. Not sure if this is pg related or just tiredness but yea its not a good day at all. Just waiting for my day to finish so that I can go home and hide under my duvet.

better that is very strange indeed!? no cravings as such just more like if I want something nothing else will do! saw an advert for kfc on Sunday night and was like if I don't get a fillet tower burger im not gonna get to sleep haha so there I went off the the nearest drive through wearing jammies and a duffle coat!Blush

CallingAllEngels · 07/02/2014 11:33

Morerum, your dinner sounds fab!

HungryHorace · 07/02/2014 10:45

That is very weird, Better. What a sad coincidence.

DD has teething issues, so has dropped from 8 ish hours to 5-6 ish hours' sleep. Still, could be worse!

She was too cute this morning. She was crying, and DH had been in, stopping her briefly. When I went in and picked her up she stopped instantly, snuggled into my shoulder and went straight to sleep. Just wanted a mummy cuddle :-)

She's almost crawling now too, which is great. :-)

BetterNotBitter · 07/02/2014 10:40

Wow guinness that is exciting! I bloody love love love london!! I could easily live there of it wasnt so far from family n friends. Have an amazing time, im very jealous!

Check your cooking out morerum are any of them craving based??

Hows your dd getting on wih sleeping through the night hungry?

My weird thing (although I fear you may all think its going to be a lot more interesting than it actually is, sorry!) Is this: Im going to a funeral next week and was wondering if I have anything that will fit me with a little bump which could be easily be perceived to the non knowing eye as just fat. So I found a dress in the wardrobe that I've only worn once. But heres the thing. The one time I wore it was to a funeral when I was 17 weeks pregnant with dd. Next week I will be just about 17 weeks pregnant and wearing it for the 2nd time. I thought that eas abit weird!

morerummorefun · 07/02/2014 10:26

lol guinness I miss read abd thought it was gingerbread coming to Scotland! glad you worked it out! Oban is lovely especially in the autumnGrin .
hungy I love arran I can walk to the ferry! they have an amazing cheese shop which give lots of samplesGrin . feel a trip coming on once baby is born xx

HungryHorace · 07/02/2014 09:56

Better, I only really feel it at night too. Can't wait for more solid, persistent kicks.

And do spill re something weird!

Morerum, we went to Arran when I was little. It was scorching after an awful, gale force 8, ferry crossing!

Enjoy London, Guinness. I'm like morerum, a couple of days is enough of a visit for me!

guinnessgirl · 07/02/2014 09:47

morerum, we're holidaying near Oban. Went last October with MiL and SFiL and had a fab time, and they've booked it again this year. Already looking forward to it!

Not seeing a show this time round - can't quite stretch to it - but am going for high tea, and to a couple of the museums. TBH I think the journey may well be the best bit - two and a half hours of quietly sitting on a train reading a book! Wink

and that food sounds AMAZING. Can I visit you instead?! Grin

morerummorefun · 07/02/2014 09:24

guinness have a great time I love a wee weekend in London I couldn't live there but its great for a mini break! are you going to see a show? x

morerummorefun · 07/02/2014 09:23

gingerbread good luck wih your interview and where in Scotland are you holidaying? I live in the west coast you can see the isle of arran from my bedroom window!

Happy friday everyone! feeling abit nigella today making eed pepper and ricotta risotto, Jamaican jerk chicken and pinapple kebabs for dinner and nutella and macadamia nut cookies! hope it all turns out ok

guinnessgirl · 07/02/2014 09:13

Better - my weekend is super exciting actually, I'm off to London (all the way from Oop North) for two days of child free catching up with old friends. On my way now! I totally owe DH big time for this Grin

something weird? Do tell?

BetterNotBitter · 07/02/2014 08:56

Mines a week today, I'll be almost 17 weeks by then. I'd feel happier if I could feel the baby moving like you say. I'm still anticipating bad news but if it would just consistently wriggle I'd feel fine! I've felt it a few times but just when lying in bed on a night, it needs to get a move on. Still haven't bought anything or even made a list yet which usually I'd be right on by now but just feel abit like tempting fate. That said, I do 'feel' more pregnant now than I have all the way though.

Hey, want to hear sometime weird?!

HungryHorace · 07/02/2014 08:29

I'm doing ok, Better. I took myself off to bed just before 10 last night instead of sleeping on the sofa, then spending hours awake once I got into bed, so actually feel rested today. See how long that lasts!

I'd like to start feeling baby more now though as the reassurance from the last scan is fading! How about you? Still desperate for the 16 week appt? Can't be long now as mine is 2 weeks on Monday. When I make it!

Suppose we should get up now, though DD is still asleep, so maybe a little while longer!

BetterNotBitter · 07/02/2014 08:14

Ooooh good luck with the interview gingerbread

And I hope your scan goes really well toothpaste let us know how you get on!

How's things hungry?

Anyone doing anything exciting this weekend?

HungryHorace · 07/02/2014 07:49

I mean the post natal boards too. Sigh!

Today is a bad day...clearly 7 hours' sleep is too much and has totally buggered my brain up.

Metalhead, I did that too, as I was convinced I'd have bad news.

I really hope you're wrong, like me and Better were. xx

Metalhead · 07/02/2014 07:45

Good luck with the interview today Ginger! Working in a book shop sounds lovely.

I've been quite tired and nauseaous the last two days, hoping that's a good sign. Still very nervous about my scan next week though. Kind of have already prepared myself for bad news, so at least if it is then it won't be such a shock.

HungryHorace · 07/02/2014 07:43

Guinness, on the iPhone you can change your posting name. I use my old one for antenatal threads after being outed on it, as those are 'safe' places where whoever outed me can peruse at their leisure. I don't care what they see.

My new name is for everywhere else where I can discuss what I like and remain anonymous to the bitch person who outed me, but is so brave as to not tell me who she is. (I discovered my cousin the other day and immediately let on on case she didn't want me to know. She's fine about it, but it's only polite to tell someone if you out them, I think.)

It used to only change your name for one post. Now it bloody keeps it, so you have to remember to change it back. Frustrating as I've now outed myself everywhere and need to change again. :-/

Do you feel like AF is coming, Guinness?

guinnessgirl · 07/02/2014 07:33

morning all! Still waiting for AF but more philosophical about it now. We have a lovely holiday in Scotland booked for early Oct and probably couldn't go if I was due mid Oct, so maybe it's for the best Smile Hungry, there's definitely something strange afoot with your names!

HungryHorace · 07/02/2014 07:16

Facepalm Again.

I'm going to have to moan to MNHQ about their system going wonky.

MrsBri · 07/02/2014 07:15

Good luck today, Gingerbread. :-) Both with POAS and the interview!

Swede, how are you feeling?

Kt, Monster and Metalhead, are you all OK?

Toothpaste, so exciting about your scan. Bet you can't wait! How's your sister?

Morning to everyone else. :-)

GingerbreadBabyPlease · 06/02/2014 21:53

Oh and the stick was negative. Grr. Fingers crossed for the morning. Pretty sure I didn't imagine the positive last month....

GingerbreadBabyPlease · 06/02/2014 21:53

Hmm ok, good to know. I guess it's better to overdress than underdress. Skirt and blouse it is! Grin
Haha to DH, it's like a new toy for grown ups!
